Charged £8 to park on arrival.The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.On entering our room there were no side tables for the bed, the Ariel to the telly was missing making it unusable, the only other furniture was a chest of drawers which was broken and not fit for purpose.

I was stuck in the lift when the doors wouldn’t open. The room was scruffy, no sink plug, peeling paint, no EV charging etc. Bed was clean but not very comfortable. Staff were helpful but hotel poor.

The place is in a terrible state of disrepair, the floors are dirty, the lamp doesn’t work, the furniture is grotty, the lift doesn’t work. On the positive the bedding and towels were clean and the staff were friendly.

Hotel needs a deep clean and renovation, room was dirty not cleaned at all only thing ok was the bedding was clean, showed 3 other rooms which all in the same state, eventually took a room which was a little better although I had to ask for it to be hoovered and I had to clean the room myself, we asked for a refund and was refused so we checked out in the morning

Don’t normally do this but… C’mon team. Clean this place up. Wash the dirty hand prints off the walls (brown, black, yellow…food, coffee…who knows) Get a real vacuum, replace the carpets. Get your cleaners to clean the corners that are full of dirt, dust, dead bugs. And replace those 30 year old shattered mattresses. This place felt more like a dirty frat house than a hotel. My team and I live in hotels, Night after night. Months at a time One of the worst we’ve seen I’m afraid.

Cheap hotel which was okay for a couple nights stay. Room could have been cleaner, there are squished bugs on the walls and the carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered. There was an open sugar sachet in one of the drawers and the toilet is stained. Tea and coffee provided in the room which is a nice touch. Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

Cheap for a travel stopover . Basic as you would expect and a little tired. Floor was grotty and clearly hadnt been cleaned. Thankfullt the bedding was frresh!

Staff very welcoming and friendly but the place would benefit from a good clean and tidy up with some much needed general maintenance and TLC then it would be really nice. Floors need a good sweep and hoover in rooms and public areas to clear debris left from previous guests such as toenail clippings. The furniture in the room was grubby and tired and would benefit from a good wipe down, kettle was rusty. Bathroom was again in need of a good clean and general maintenance, no plug-in sink and toilet roll holder barely hanging on. I admittedly made no complaint during my stay as it was a very last minute booking that was under £40 for the night so put it down to experience.

Was ok.....but for £55 it was what it was ... 2 Beds pushed together,one was higher than the other,..but we just laughed it off ....was ok for a quick overnight stop off..

Overall a good place to stay for a night. Guy at reception was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small but sufficient for an overnight stop. A bit noisy if you need to keep your window open on a hot night!

Staff were very friendly during our stay. Stayed in twin bedroom. One bed was nice and soft , other you could feel the springs . The room could have been cleaner , ie dusty. We noticed sockets behind our pillows, maybe the layout had been moved around ?? One socket was completely broken 😕.

When I arrived to check-in, the receptionist (his name was Tiger) walked away from the desk when he saw me coming, returned some time later, and seemed annoyed that I wished to check in. His entire demeanor was disinterested, unfriendly stand-offish and blunt. He didn\'t even greet me, just stared at me from behind the desk until I asked to check in. He appeared reluctant to answer any of my questions and gave blunt responses. He didn\'t give me any information about wifi or checkout times, just passed me the key, told me about a non-smoking policy, and told me my room number. He did not appear welcoming or eager to help in any way, and it was clear that he did not wish to be there. This was not a good start to my stay in the hotel. The condition of the room was absolutely unacceptable. The carpet was filthy, with multiple stains and sticky patches throughout. The walls were damaged, and coated in multiple areas with dried-brown liquid. The sink within the bathroom had black mold growing on it. The room had a musty odor and was incredibly small. The "double bed," was two single beds joined together, with a huge ridge in the middle which was extremely uncomfortable. The television remote was missing. There was no do-not disturb sign to attach to the door.

I use this hotel on a regular basis when working in the Gloucester region I would highly recommend this hotel to any business person traveling to the Gloucester area The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. A few days ago I had a problem starting my car, the staff came out to help me start it and ensure I was not late for my meeting. A big thanks for that.

I am writing this review to formally advise people not to stay at Orchard hotel, the experience was far below the standards I expected and caused significant disruption and distress. During the night, my husband and I were woken by police knocking on our door, (number 34) looking for an individual who did not reside in our room. They also disturbed other guests in the same manner. This was an extremely unsettling experience which left us unable to sleep for the rest of the night. When my husband spoke to the manager (Amid)the following day, the response was dismissive and unapologetic, with the suggestion that we should have gone downstairs to request another room. This did not address the issue at all and felt unprofessional. In addition, the room itself was in very poor condition. There were scratches, dents, and holes in the walls, and the overall state of the accommodation was outdated and uncomfortably hot. These conditions were not reflective of what was advertised. When we later contacted the hotel to request a refund or partial refund, this was refused. The staff we spoke to were rude, dismissive, and made unprofessional remarks, implying that the hotel could not simply give refunds to “everyone who complained.” I found this attitude unacceptable and not in line with the standards of hospitality. The only positive part was the young lad on reception Who could not apologise enough? He told us that it was a young lad living next door to our room, he has been there a

The price was very reasonable. The location, near to motorway was excellent but i stayed in a room which needed its painting to be finished. The shower door was stiff. However the young lady on reception in the morning was delightful and very helpful. I would stay again at that price

My stay here was lovely bus serve in to flour town centre just across the road, bus service up to Tesco and a little shopping area that’s a 10 minute walk away , all the staff are fabulous, will definitely be coming back

My second time staying here, it's excellent value and right where I needed to be. No amenities at the hotel but next door is a fish and chip shop, a short walk away is a petrol forecourt shop with fast food franchise, cash point. A little further are three pubs, a restaurant and supermarkets, Chinese takeaway etc. If you seek luxury this isn't the hotel for you, but for the budget conscious traveler it's perfect!
