LF Jungle Retreat

Hotel antigo, e de acesso um pouco complicado. Se não tiver carro não convém se hospedar nele. Mas no geral é ok. O maior problema é a ausência de ar condicionado no quarto

The road to get there was horrible and poorly maintained.

Our room was picturesque it overlooked the ocean and the beautiful flowers it was gorgeous. However our bathroom light was not working and my husband had to grab a lamp to put in the bathroom for proper lighting. I did call down to let them know that and they said they would come in the morning to fix it. However, I didn’t get a call in the morning and we checked out that day at noon. As well our shower was not working properly and you couldn’t increase the water temperature. There are instructions on how to increase the temperature however ours was clearly broken. Our room was clean though so that was nice and our welcome drink was delicious. Although the cleaning staff left their cleaning rag in the closet I think from deep cleaning their staff did come and pick it back up. Our balcony had someone’s eaten food in a box with their completed drink left out there that wasn’t cleaned but we didn’t notice it until the morning.Our breakfast was good there is an eight or 10% gratuity on any food ordered there but it was good food. The property is doing some construction but it doesn’t affect guests or amenities and was not noisy, which is nice. It was an OK stay for one night

The resort was exactly as described. Clean , secluded , in touch with nature , great and helpful staff . Overall a very good stay

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel offers a beautiful view over the bay and has a great boutique feel, with the hotel, restaurant, and bar all seamlessly integrated in one place. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The main downside was the room, which did not quite match our expectations. While it was very spacious, it featured a mezzanine floor with steep steps that felt unsafe for our baby—something that wasn’t apparent from the photos. In addition, the large wall of windows had no curtains, so we were woken up early each morning by daylight. Lastly, there seemed to be an issue with the hot water, which fluctuated between very cold and very hot.
