The Waterford Marina Hotel over looks the River Suir. It is within walking distance of the Waterford Crystal Factory. The staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The quality and selection of food at breakfast is good. Onsite parking is great.

Wasn’t a bad hotel but the parking is not ideal, it’s an underground car park away from the main hotel and the only access is through a buzzer, not great if it’s raining and have a lot of gear to carry. Hotel itself wasn’t nice through, clean and friendly staff.

Very nice stay. Clean, well appointed bedrooms with comfortable bed. Excellent rainfall shower with good pressure. We ate in the bar and the food was very good and the prices were very reasonable. Location was wonderful … nice walk along the waterfront to the Viking Triangle area. Nice and clean bar and restaurant. The breakfast cost more than what we were told by the front desk and the food wasn’t very good. Our room faced the parking lot and there were NOISY deliveries made to the hotel EARLY each morning in that parking lot. One morning, in that parking lot, a truck was clearing out the sewer system and the stench was unbearable!

Great junior suite overlooking the river in Waterford. Well worth the extra money. Beautifully clean and spacious.Large king size bed and soffa bed, 2 televisions, 2 sinks in spacious bathroom and lovely walk in shower. Dressing area with selves and hanging space to side of bedroom, which also housed a fridge and safe Staff so friendly and helpful. Food was of a good standard. Parking to rear of hotel, some in a large locked garage. Would certainly stay there again.

Expedia posted before I finished…. Normally I would give the Marina Hotel full marks but this stay was a little disappointing. I am down in Waterford for a least a week once a month sometimes more for work depending and have been staying in the Marina Hotel now for nearly three years depending on availability. I have kept returning as it’s handy for the site I’m working at when I’m here, the car park is secure for the work van, the staff are lovely and very friendly and welcoming, the bar/restaurant food is great and it’s a short walk into Waterford centre. Usually I’m happy with the rooms I’ve been in, beds are comfy, shower is powerful and warm and the room itself is pleasant and tidy. However this visit the room I was in was small and pokey and a little claustrophobic. The carpet had bad brown marks on it and the WiFi was non existent and unable to utilise the streaming on the TV due to this. The room was located right above the bin area so in the morning and night was very loud. Again I usually have no complaints about the Marina and will continue to return here as it’s a very nice hotel. Just felt this stay was a bit of a let down compared to others

Junior Riverview Suite was huge- bedroom, lounge dining area, sleek modern bathroom and huge dressing area. Great natural lightings and stylish with 5 large windows looking out over river and lots of internal lighting provided. Even had a mobile electric light for make up. Decore fresh and stylish.Meals provided over extended hours. Staff friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the hotel was lovely. The staff were so helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed during the Spraoi festival and the staff showed us where all the events would be and gave us their recommendations. When the TV wasn't working (network issues which only affected us for an hour) they fixed it immediately. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Really pleased to have been given an upgrade to a room overlooking the river. It was lovely. Comfy bed and plenty of easily accessible sockets. Fantastic shower - nice and powerful. Had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant though the menu wasn’t great. Staff friendly and efficient.

Booked this hotel for our family visit so we could explore Waterford on foot. The fact that it is located on Canada Street was karma for us! Both rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable with all the right amenities. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were excellent...friendly, helpful, and service-minded. Dinner and drinks in the restaurant were good, and the breakfast was very good with lots of selection and a great coffee maker for our morning lattes. We would definitely stay again.
