Hotel idéalement situé et bien équipé avec vue incroyable sur le lac et les îles Borromées. Service de qualité et personnel d'une grande gentillesse. On regrette le supplément à payer pour l'accès à la salle de sport et le Spa. Hotel très accueillant pour les familles et les animaux. Là encore le supplément de 25 euros par jour pour le chien est un peu exagéré surtout en cas de séjour de longue durée et lorsqu'on opte pour ne pas faire le ménage tous les jours comme suggéré par l'hôtel dans un but ecologique. Malgré ces petits bemols l'hotel reste une très bonne adresse que nous recommandons !

Skøn oplevelse på hotel Dino. Regnen silede ned og vi kunne derfor ikke bruge udendørsfaciliteterne. Men poolen indenfor var i særklasse. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Værelserne smukke og rene.

Très facile à trouver, implanté dans un site magnifique, à proximité de liaisons par bateaux pour rejoindre divers lieux d'intérêt, le complexe hôtelier dispose d'un accès direct au lac, d'une piscine couverte et en plein air et de nombreux espaces pour s'installer. Très belles prestations et excellente base de départ pour visiter la région. Seul bémol, le prix du parking sous l'hôtel, à 20€ par jour.

Beautiful facility with amazing views from the balcony of Lago Maggiore and the mountains beyond. Convenient to the ferry stop and local restaurants. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen, quite luxurious.

Property and surrounds are incredibly beautiful, the lakeside beach is a real bonus. Rooms are small but well furnished and clean. The hotel staff at check in are functional but lack warmth and personality. Parking is €20 a night, however there is a free car park a short walk from the hotel. The hotel gym comes at a cost, an iron could not be provided to iron a shirt, had to pay for pressing, a continuing theme of the hotel. A bit of a two-tier guest system employed at the hotel also. A huge amount of beds on the beach front reserved for suites and was removed from another non reserved area, along with other guests who had been there all morning, to make room for families who had turned up with dogs. This area of the beach was designated as pet friendly, not pet only. Overall a perfectly nice stay but the staffing and continual attempts to extract more money from guests left me questioning whether I would return. Oh and the final bill included a 5% tip for the hotel, alongside the local tourist tax.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Beware of added 5% service charge to bill on check out. We were disappointed that most of the sun loungers with shade were reserved permanently for people staying in suites. This was not made clear. Parking spaces are very tight in the underground car park. The music from the fountain disturbs rooms at the front. Overall a lovely stay but over priced.

Sehr schönes luxuriöses Hotel! Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet! Indoor-Outdoorpool super. Am Strand sehr schön mit Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und Badetüchern. Einziges Manko man muss über Treppe und sehr große Steine in den See.

Emplacement idéal au bord même du lac et de l’embarcadère pour les iles Boromees et Stresa. La vue est magnifique. L’hôtel est très grand et s’étend au travers de jardins splendides avec des terrasses et tonnelles disséminées. Très grandes piscines intérieure et extérieure, bien d’autres équipements…avec suffisamment de transats pour tous! Quand la météo le permet, ambiance plage dans le jardin avec l’ouverture d’un stand pizza et le glacier. Génial. Le personnel était charmant et surtout disponible. Le prix des boissons et repas est proche des restaurants extérieurs, et sans abus. A noter le parking est souterrain et coûte 19€/jour. Bref un très bel établissement.

Me and my girlfriend spent the weekend in this hotel. Worth mentioning, this is a conference hotel and probably works best for bigger groups. Not a bad place for a romantic weekend but as an example the breakfast is served in a giant ballroom and not so intimate. The location with a private beach is perfect and in early September it was almost empty! Service was flawless and we even had an upgrade to a slightly bigger Junior suite with a fantastic lake view. However, here comes the criticism. There was a huge garden party taking place on Saturday which was probably the main reason for "moving" us. It would have been appropriate to get that information when checking in. Even though we were staying at the other side of the hotel we could hear the bass until the party stopped at 2am and my girlfriend didn't get a proper sleep. This was the only negative thing and when we mentioned this at the check out we got a very strange reaction. The lady at the front desk told us there were signs informing about the conferences and this should be enough for us to understand it could be noisy!? Then she made the weirdest move, instead of dealing with the complaint in a professional way she crumpled the bill in from of us and said she would deduct the 5% voluntary service fee. This was not my intention, I would gladly pay more to the professional room-service and staff in the bars and restaurants.

Ho dato 5 stelle perchè la struttura è piacevole, accogliente, con cura dei dettagli (bravo l'architetto e l'interior designer), con composizioni floreali accattivanti, e finiture di qualitatà e precisione. Rinfrescata nel 2023 non ha l'aria da "antichi fasti". Alcune cose però non vanno bene. 1. Al momento del conto, senza chiederlo preventivamente, è stata stampata la ricevuta applicando un supplemento del 5% rispetto al prezzo omnicomprensivo indicato su Hotels.com, a titolo di "servizi alberghieri". In realtà credo fosse la mancia. Siamo in Italia e la mancia dovrebbe essere una libera scelta del cliente e non inserita di default nella ricevuta. Di pessimo gusto chiedermi ex post (senza specificare che si trattava di mancia) se io fossi stato d'accordo. La ricevuta ormai era stampata e mi ha messo in grosso imbarazzo, quindi sul momento non ho compreso quella richiesta e ho lasciato stare. Per me non è accettabile mettere i clienti in condizioni di imbarazzo. 2. Gli asciugamani non sono stati cambiati: ok l'ecologia, ma andrebbe scritto come fanno tanti hotel "se li lasci per terra li cambiamo". Non essendo scritto nulla davo per scontato venissero cambiati e così non è stato. 3. Piscina molto affollata, con tanti bambini rumorosi. 4. Parcheggio a 20 euro al giorno ma anche a 1,5 euro all'ora: se sposti la macchina più volte al giorno arrivi a pagare più di 20 euro nella giornata, come fosse un paecheggio pubblico: non mi pare corretto, una speculazione davvero ridicola.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. The recent addition of a beach and new pool area makes this the perfect hotel for a quite family holiday. The rooms are spotless. The staff are great with a special mention for Giacomo (maître d') who greeted us by name each morning. Will definitely visit again.

We were recommended to the Grand Dino by friends, and they were right. The reception desk was staffed with the most knowledgeable and patient people; we asked them everything from nearby hiking trails to extra toothpaste, and they always provided excellent service. The daily breakfast worth the price with a great selection of foods and drinks. Although it was a buffet, the chef was kind enough to cook omelettes for us. The rooms were in great condition and super clean. We had no complaints about the room at all. The hotel restaurant, Last Hall, provided great food and service, especially the bread service, pasta, and beef. The pool was well-managed with plenty of towels, chairs, and umbrellas. Don't miss the fountain shows that run every 30 minutes between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM each night. Can’t miss the fountain outside the front entrance.

Stayed in junior suite with lake view - spacious room with magnificent view. Room decor was tired and needs refreshing and modernising. Breakfast was not good - went 40 minutes before end of service and food was depleted, no tables set, and staff already packing away. Better food in local restaurants.

A beautiful hotel by the lake. Clean, spacious, and centrally located. It’s a shame that using the fitness facilities requires an additional fee; this should be included. The air conditioning did not work well (reported this to the hotel multiple times, but it was not addressed). Despite this, still a recommended place to stay.

Fantastic accomplished “old style”…. Luxery! Beds wunderfull, room perfect. We Got upgraded to sea view😊 Private Beach. Not crowded at all on the big hotel arena! In the city center.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Beware of added 5% service charge to bill on check out. We were disappointed that most of the sun loungers with shade were reserved permanently for people staying in suites. This was not made clear. Parking spaces are very tight in the underground car park. The music from the fountain disturbs rooms at the front. Overall a lovely stay but over priced.

We stayed 48 hours and had more electricians and managers in our room than we were, completely unnecessary. Our overhead light when turned off, would cut all electricity to other outlets. No Phones could charge overnight. Manager was in our room till 23:45 with a ladder to unscrew the light. No update next day, no apology, just came back after 2 hours to our outlets working but not the Fridge or TV. Reception just said “sorry for your inconvenience” at check out in an apathetic tone. Would not return.

Me and my girlfriend spent the weekend in this hotel. Worth mentioning, this is a conference hotel and probably works best for bigger groups. Not a bad place for a romantic weekend but as an example the breakfast is served in a giant ballroom and not so intimate. The location with a private beach is perfect and in early September it was almost empty! Service was flawless and we even had an upgrade to a slightly bigger Junior suite with a fantastic lake view. However, here comes the criticism. There was a huge garden party taking place on Saturday which was probably the main reason for "moving" us. It would have been appropriate to get that information when checking in. Even though we were staying at the other side of the hotel we could hear the bass until the party stopped at 2am and my girlfriend didn't get a proper sleep. This was the only negative thing and when we mentioned this at the check out we got a very strange reaction. The lady at the front desk told us there were signs informing about the conferences and this should be enough for us to understand it could be noisy!? Then she made the weirdest move, instead of dealing with the complaint in a professional way she crumpled the bill in from of us and said she would deduct the 5% voluntary service fee. This was not my intention, I would gladly pay more to the professional room-service and staff in the bars and restaurants.

Property and surrounds are incredibly beautiful, the lakeside beach is a real bonus. Rooms are small but well furnished and clean. The hotel staff at check in are functional but lack warmth and personality. Parking is €20 a night, however there is a free car park a short walk from the hotel. The hotel gym comes at a cost, an iron could not be provided to iron a shirt, had to pay for pressing, a continuing theme of the hotel. A bit of a two-tier guest system employed at the hotel also. A huge amount of beds on the beach front reserved for suites and was removed from another non reserved area, along with other guests who had been there all morning, to make room for families who had turned up with dogs. This area of the beach was designated as pet friendly, not pet only. Overall a perfectly nice stay but the staffing and continual attempts to extract more money from guests left me questioning whether I would return. Oh and the final bill included a 5% tip for the hotel, alongside the local tourist tax.

We were recommended to the Grand Dino by friends, and they were right. The reception desk was staffed with the most knowledgeable and patient people; we asked them everything from nearby hiking trails to extra toothpaste, and they always provided excellent service. The daily breakfast worth the price with a great selection of foods and drinks. Although it was a buffet, the chef was kind enough to cook omelettes for us. The rooms were in great condition and super clean. We had no complaints about the room at all. The hotel restaurant, Last Hall, provided great food and service, especially the bread service, pasta, and beef. The pool was well-managed with plenty of towels, chairs, and umbrellas. Don't miss the fountain shows that run every 30 minutes between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM each night. Can’t miss the fountain outside the front entrance.

Très facile à trouver, implanté dans un site magnifique, à proximité de liaisons par bateaux pour rejoindre divers lieux d'intérêt, le complexe hôtelier dispose d'un accès direct au lac, d'une piscine couverte et en plein air et de nombreux espaces pour s'installer. Très belles prestations et excellente base de départ pour visiter la région. Seul bémol, le prix du parking sous l'hôtel, à 20€ par jour.

Skøn oplevelse på hotel Dino. Regnen silede ned og vi kunne derfor ikke bruge udendørsfaciliteterne. Men poolen indenfor var i særklasse. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Værelserne smukke og rene.

We were recommended to the Grand Dino by friends, and they were right. The reception desk was staffed with the most knowledgeable and patient people; we asked them everything from nearby hiking trails to extra toothpaste, and they always provided excellent service. The daily breakfast worth the price with a great selection of foods and drinks. Although it was a buffet, the chef was kind enough to cook omelettes for us. The rooms were in great condition and super clean. We had no complaints about the room at all. Loved our stay here - friendly staff, beautiful room and hotel public areas, brilliant location. We had a standard room - didn’t pay for lake view but got incredible view of the mountains (on 3rd floor). Room was way more luxurious than we’d thought - great size and facilities . We ate at the bistro and pool bar - good food, not cheap but not silly prices bearing in mind the surroundings. Few downsides: There was a 5% service charge added we didn’t know about until we checked out - would have been good to know up front side of the pool is lethally slippy - I saw 4 adults fall on it including my husband who cut his foot quite badly. And lots of kids slipping - definitely needs sorting.

Unhelpful staff, wild kids in the pool, all sunbeds occupied (there was available sunbeds stacked inside but staff did not let us use them). But the location was great. Also good parking.

One of the most beautiful and elegant hotels I have ever stayed in. The scenery it postcard perfect. The staff is friendly and speak good English. The breakfast wast the best I’ve ever had. Room was air conditioned, and the pool brought new life to me.

Fantastic stay! Stunning property and in an excellent location. Our room was the Mountain View and it was everything we needed. The hotel itself is great to explore and the pool/beach area was perfect for a dip. It is worth noting here that the lake pontoon sunbathing area is only for paying guests and the front sunbathing areas are reserved for the suite rooms. Other than that, there was plenty of space available and a dip in the lake is a must! Would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully be visiting again at some point in the future!

I needed a peaceful break and even when the hotel was crowded, I could enjoy the calm. A very nice room with a terrasse on lake view. Everything was perfect!
