Four Points Flex by Sheraton Ishoj

We booked this hotel spontaneously during our trip and arrived in the evening. Unfortunately, things went wrong pretty much from the start. It took over 30 minutes to get hold of anyone, despite calling the number provided several times. Eventually we got into the building and found another number to call. Someone from the hotel answered but had already left for the day. We were told there should normally be spare keys available that could be activated, but there were none for us. So there we were, late in the evening with two young kids and a confirmed booking, but no room. After more than an hour we were offered another hotel 16 km away. We drove there, but the room wasn't really suitable for our family and was quite different from what we had originally booked. After all the confusion and driving around, we didn't feel this was a reasonable replacement and decided to find another hotel ourselves. We were told that this was fine and that we would receive a full refund. Unfortunately, getting the refund was almost as frustrating as the original experience. It took more than two weeks to sort out and required several contacts with both the booking service and the hotel. The main issue was simply getting the hotel to confirm the agreed refund, which took far longer than it should have. Things can go wrong, and we understand that. But being left without the room we had booked and then having this much trouble getting the agreed refund made this a very disappointing experience

Bad air quality in the room. No front desk, had to call a number to get a code, and it took almost 10 min before someone picked up, We booked a double room with a sofa bed, but the sofa bed was a 105 cm bed ( our kids is 8 and 10 ) Never again!

The included parking is in the shopping center, if you arrive at night the parking garage is closed and legg with out parking. Had to find a new hotel. The phone number you can call for help dod not know anything about the area. They where located in another country and had never seen the hotel area. Avoid.
