Communication was through emails. Nice touch to have coffe, sugar cream and water bottles available. Bed was comfortable, my only recommendation would be to have a couple of smaller (less fluffy) pillows. Cabins were close to the lake walking path. The screened in porch would come in handy at certain times of the year.

It was very easy to check in, however the room had garbage from previous occupants, no paper towels, ice machine or attendants on site. The picnic tables were broken, and or not supplied and the garbage bin outside was overflowing.

A great spot for motorcyclists. You park in front of your room. The room was comfortable with comfortable beds. Great shower. There is a gas station across the street and local eateries within walking distance. Plaster Rock is a quiet town- but this spot is an awesome spot while you transit through NB.

We booked a two-bedroom cottage for three nights in Plaster Rock and couldn't have been more satisfied with the accommodations and amenities. The cottage included a screened porch, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and two nice-sized bedrooms. Very comfortable for the three of us, and certainly roomy enough for our needs. I would definitely recommend this property and may possibly book it again.

Upon entering the hotel room we were pleasantly surprised at the clean and updated room. Everything was sparkling clean. Amazing air conditioning. We arrived after hours, but josh text and made sure we knew our room was ready and which one was ours. Fully stocked with clean towels and fridges, microwave and coffee maker all provided. Would stay here again.

The ups are clean, quiet and comfortable. On the down side the wi-fi was terrible. Weak signal and it kept cutting out. Just me but I hate pod coffee.

Recently refurbished rooms are clean tidy very comfortable...nespresso coffee machine and quality bed. The owner tried everything possible to enable me to download workshop materials i needed to complete when wifi was too slow. Id definitely recommend

Stayed at a very nice studio room, hotel quality interior with some charm. Attention to small details like including some small games while in the evening. Everything you need inside (plates, cutlery, bedding, oven, etc). Quiet AC and comfortable beds. Will appeal to lots of people with nature and countryside in the area with nicely renovated interior in the room. Restaurants in the area do close at 7 but local grocery store open until 9 in case of a late dinner. All pics within walking distance, I recommend the lake behind the property and the river closeby. Deer in the area too.

This was my third time staying here and the first since the new ownership. The personal communication leading up to and including check-in was so helpful and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. The response times to inquiries was extremely prompt. The refreshed rooms were comfortable and clean. My lone issue with our stay was the virtually non-existent wifi. The motel attempted to rectify (again very promptly) but each evening there was no connection. A small issue for us on this trip and the only item keeping this from being a solid 5-star rating.

The cabin is so inviting and charming! Loved the decor, books, games, etc. The towels are so soft, the bed and couch are nice and comfy. Great water pressure. Zero complaints!

If you're looking for something quiet, out of the way, and budget-friendly, Lakeside Stays is a great pick. On my own rating scale, I’d give it a solid 9.4/10. The room was very clean, comfortable, and the contactless check-in/check-out was a nice touch — not that I mind people, but being able to simply arrive and settle in made for a stress-free experience. Fantastic place and staff were very friendly and helpful. Power was out in the morning and they offered another room that had power for us to use to shower and make coffee. Only recommendation would be to add towel bars or more hooks for towels in washroom and also a mirror in the room besides the washroom mirror.

We arrived very late but the keyless entry made things easy. Lakeside Stays were great at communicating and offered suggestions about the area when asked. The room was clean and very inviting. We would highly recommend staying.

My husband and I were overwhelmingly impressed with this place. Our room was recently updated and was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had an issue connecting to the wifi and the owners spent two hours with us to resolve the issue. This was after the office officially closed. We have never encountered such an amazing commitment to customer service anywhere else. And the coffee from that nespresso machine with fresh cream in the frig...well, just unbelieveable. Thanks again Randy and Joshua!

The only negative is that i didn't realize how far off the Hwy it was. Driving there at night was a little stressful.... leaving to head to NS brought us on a back road hwy all the way to Moncton. A large section was tar/stone and a couple cars came speeding on opposite side and unfortunately spit up rocks that cracked my windshield. Of course the Motels fault, just something to be aware of. Although i hadnt seen any of the staff, i received texts that confirmed my room number and instructions. Apparently there was a power outage which resulted in internet issues which i also received messages about before evem getting there. Clearly they have great communication. The place was clean and had more than enough towels for the 3 of us. Property was lovely. Lots of.blackflies so be prepared!

Plaster Rock is very quiet and the location of Lakeside Stays was quiet this time of year. The room just right for us and met our needs. Lots of modern upgrades and very comfortable. Coffee maker was a nice perk too. Parking was easy and we walked over to a nearby lake in the evening, beautiful. We would definately stay here agian.

Traveling from Ontario to Nova Scotia and back! This place was good I came back on my way back home and it was just as lovely! There’s also the sweetest brunch diner about a kilometer and a half up the road!

A great spot for motorcyclists. You park in front of your room. The room was comfortable with comfortable beds. Great shower. There is a gas station across the street and local eateries within walking distance. Plaster Rock is a quiet town- but this spot is an awesome spot while you transit through NB.

Room is excellent. Kitchenette with all i need, plus a sofa and two queen beds. They even has snacks, water and a great coffee choice. Very impressed

Stayed at a very nice studio room, hotel quality interior with some charm. Attention to small details like including some small games while in the evening. Everything you need inside (plates, cutlery, bedding, oven, etc). Quiet AC and comfortable beds. Will appeal to lots of people with nature and countryside in the area with nicely renovated interior in the room. This was the cutest property ever! It was very pet friendly and I love the check-in process because it's all done virtually and you get a code for your door so we were able to just drive in quite tired from our road trip and go right into our room. The rooms were super big really cute loved the local decorations. Only complaint there's really not much open in terms of food so stop at a grocery store or pick something up on your way in.

My husband and I were overwhelmingly impressed with this place. Our room was recently updated and was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had an issue connecting to the wifi and the owners spent two hours with us to resolve the issue. This was after the office officially closed. We have never encountered such an amazing commitment to customer service anywhere else. And the coffee from that nespresso machine with fresh cream in the frig...well, just unbelieveable. Thanks again Randy and Joshua!
