Nice hotel. Great location. Easy walk from station. Good variety for breakfast. All staff friendly. Lady at breakfast very pleasant and very efficient. Only two negative comments - elevator out of service for two days of our 4 day stay and room climate control out for all 4 days, even after notification to front desk on day 1. A hotel that can’t repair its maintenance issues promptly doesn’t deserve to be called any more than a 3 star hotel.

Virkelig dejligt og meget centralt beliggende hotel. Man kan ikke køre i bil til hotellet, da bymidten er bilfri - ikke et problem, man skal bare være klar over det. Vi nød vores opholdsgrundlag kommer helt sikkert igen.

We drive all day to check in, one man was working front desk told us that elevator is not working. Elderly women stopped. We were thirsty, ask for water he told us sit wait. I ask give us key to room he refused to give us key. It was 7 pm when we arrived. Finally we got the key walk the stairs to room and carrying our luggage to stairs and the key isn’t working. My husband walk downstairs to ask he came upstairs check and stay here I will bring new keys for you. Thirsty and tired we wake up early in the morning left Hôtel early didn’t want to stay there. The first time bad experience about the hotel.

Hôtel charmant et très bien situé, mais pas possible de s’approcher en voiture, parking public pas trop loin heureusement Équipe très agréable, chambre confortable mais un peu bruyante, seul vrai défaut la literie du canapé-lit d’appoint, à changer. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Beautiful, historic hotel in tbe center of the city. Our room was attractive and spacious with excellent AC. It’s Two minutes from many public transport options and shopping and restaurants galore. It would be even better with a gym. It’s a little inconvenient that cars cannot drive up in front, but taxis can. There is a parking garage entrance at the end of the block and reduced parking rate for 19 euros/night. Highly recommend.

This hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station and well located on the Place de la Comedie. It was very convenient for all the sights you would want to visit in the old town and there was a tram stop outside for those wishing to explore further. The room was nice and quirky with a great view over the main square. The bar was really the breakfast area and it was unclear when the bar was open. It is closed on a Sunday, which seems a little strange. Would still recommend this hotel due to its location.

Chambre familiale très décevante, pas d’aération, odeur d’égouts. Il est compliqué d’ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer pendant la nuit, la vie nocturne étant passablement agitée. C’était un choix d’être dans le centre pour un très court séjour, afin de profiter d’être au coeur de Montpellier. Le fait que ce soit en plein centre est très agréable, et en fait un hôtel de premier choix pour la localisation. Peut-être que les autres chambres ne sont pas concernées, mais l’hôtel d’une manière générale vieillit mal. Le personnel est toutefois très réactif, et très sympathique.

The exterior of the building somewhat conceals the aging state of the infrastructure: old and dull carpeting in the hallways and staircases, marks and scratches on the walls, very basic room amenities (e.g., an empty fridge), deteriorating bathroom seals, and a view of the garbage bins from the superior rooms on the east side. I have attached two photos to illustrate the issues described above. In summary, the Grand Hôtel du Midi may have once been a beautiful hotel, but it no longer meets the standards of a 4-star property. Thankfully, the breakfast staff is pleasant and welcoming, which slightly compensates for the rest. However, the value for money is undoubtedly overstated.

La propiedad es bien.. la ubicación pues esta bien solo que ahora hay mucha gente. Pero el hotel es muy sucio y descuidado por su personal., no limpian bien y luego no son ni para ver que el detector de humo de cigarros tiene un calcetín puesto…. Que pena.. y no ofrecen ni siquiera lo que pagamos… menos algo extra … no saben lo que es ser un hotel vip acces … como siempre… parece ser un pecado el reservar y pagar por Expedia

Most of the desk staff were polite and helpful. Except for one he was unpolite and rude from check in to the tone he spoke to explain basic information. I speak perfectly french so I don't believe the whole American behavior applies here. The entry door by the coffee shop smells urine during our whole stay and that's terrible. The main door is usually not working and you need to enter by the coffee shop. We stayed 7 nights and the location is perfect. Cleaning ladies were very polite and room was perfectly clean. I'd love to come again to Montpellier but I won't stay again in this hotel.

Everything was superb until we need to work with the internet, it was the worst that we have had in this journey. A shame, this is not an extra service is a basic service for people who needs to be in contact with their business. The next time we are going to check other options with better infrastructure

Very nice hotel in a great location. It was a short walk from the train station and the hotel is in the middle of a main shopping area with tons of restaurants all around. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. My only complaints would be that the door to the toilet didn’t stay shut all the way, and the wifi was flaky at times. The breakfast was good, and the complimentary water bottles in the room were greatly appreciated

The hotel is a very lovely hotel situated in a good location to see the town and metro. My room was a premium room and I had 2 balconies with doors that opened for air. I found the bed comfortable and the bathroom well done. I had a huge tub - nice feature. The breakfast had a fairly good selection.

My wife and I had a nice stay at MIDI. AWESOME LOCATION! Really comfortable bed and the room was spacious. Friendly staff too! The only challenge we had was the bathroom. Zero counter space. The shower was also a “no door” shower and water gets everywhere. The step down out of the shower is pretty high and if we were seniors, it might have been an issue.

Udda utformning av rummet med toaletten i ett rum utan handfat, så man fick gå därifrån till duschrummet för att tvätta händerna. Ac, men tyvärr inte ett riktigt kylskåp utan bara en vinsval. Öppningsbara dubbeldörrar i varje rum, med fransk balkong. Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal med utmärkt engelska. God frukost

Un lugar muy acogedor, especialmente por las fiestas. La ubicación es perfecta para visitar el centro de la ciudad. El personal es muy amable y atento, en especial Alexandra y Julien. Para personas con movilidad reducida tienen una habitación adaptada y una entrada especial para silla de ruedas. Solo el bar del desayuno tiene 3 escalones.

Personale discretamente professionale ma, un sorriso o un saluto mai. Posizione hotel magnifica, nel pieno della zona pedonale. Credo qualche lavoro di ammodernamento non guasterebbe ma, nel complesso, esperienza positiva. Considerando che l’hotel non è accessibile se non a piedi, ritengo sarebbe una buona cosa fornire un servizio di “navetta” tra hotel e parcheggi convenzionati.

Credo qualche lavoro di ammodernamento non guasterebbe ma, nel complesso, esperienza positiva. Considerando che l’hotel non è accessibile se non a piedi, ritengo sarebbe una buona cosa fornire un servizio di “navetta” tra hotel e parcheggi convenzionati.

Most of the desk staff were polite and helpful. Except for one he was unpolite and rude from check in to the tone he spoke to explain basic information. I speak perfectly french so I don't believe the whole American behavior applies here. The entry door by the coffee shop smells urine during our whole stay and that's terrible. The main door is usually not working and you need to enter by the coffee shop. We stayed 7 nights and the location is perfect. Cleaning ladies were very polite and room was perfectly clean. I'd love to come again to Montpellier but I won't stay again in this hotel.

Un lugar muy acogedor, especialmente por las fiestas. La ubicación es perfecta para visitar el centro de la ciudad. El personal es muy amable y atento, en especial Alexandra y Julien. Para personas con movilidad reducida tienen una habitación adaptada y una entrada especial para silla de ruedas. Solo el bar del desayuno tiene 3 escalones.

This hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station and well located on the Place de la Comedie. It was very convenient for all the sights you would want to visit in the old town and there was a tram stop outside for those wishing to explore further. The room was nice and quirky with a great view over the main square. The bar was really the breakfast area and it was unclear when the bar was open. It is closed on a Sunday, which seems a little strange. Would still recommend this hotel due to its location.

Nice hotel. Great location. Easy walk from station. Good variety for breakfast. All staff friendly. Lady at breakfast very pleasant and very efficient. Only two negative comments - elevator out of service for two days of our 4 day stay and room climate control out for all 4 days, even after notification to front desk on day 1. A hotel that can’t repair its maintenance issues promptly doesn’t deserve to be called any more than a 3 star hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location. It was a short walk from the train station and the hotel is in the middle of a main shopping area with tons of restaurants all around. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. My only complaints would be that the door to the toilet didn’t stay shut all the way, and the wifi was flaky at times. The breakfast was good, and the complimentary water bottles in the room were greatly appreciated

The hotel is a very lovely hotel situated in a good location to see the town and metro. My room was a premium room and I had 2 balconies with doors that opened for air. I found the bed comfortable and the bathroom well done. I had a huge tub - nice feature. The breakfast had a fairly good selection.

Hôtel charmant et très bien situé, mais pas possible de s’approcher en voiture, parking public pas trop loin heureusement Équipe très agréable, chambre confortable mais un peu bruyante, seul vrai défaut la literie du canapé-lit d’appoint, à changer. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Udda utformning av rummet med toaletten i ett rum utan handfat, så man fick gå därifrån till duschrummet för att tvätta händerna. Ac, men tyvärr inte ett riktigt kylskåp utan bara en vinsval. Öppningsbara dubbeldörrar i varje rum, med fransk balkong. Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal med utmärkt engelska. God frukost
