I cannot say enough good things about this fabulous hotel. I stayed there for 10 nights and was amazed by how perfectly manicured the property was, the cleanliness of the rooms, the size of the rooms and the private plunge pool, the amazing food at the restaurant (try the grilled onion petals!), and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. This really was a dream vacation thanks to Casa Loreto. It was the perfect hotel. The only critique I could give is that it’s about a 20 minute walk from prime Centro, meaning it is not as conveniently located as some of the other tourist trap hotels. However, I had no problems walking around the city from CL, and it allowed me to explore Barrio Santiago. Thank you, Casa Loreto, for a stellar vacation!! I will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

The water was not working the last day and I sent a message to the front desk and the front desk attendant was asleep and never got the message. Casa Loreto 1893 is an on oasis in the city. It is on a busy street, yet the property is very serene. It is an architectural beauty that was designed and decorated very well. I enjoyed the enclosed patio in front of my room, with a hammock. It was very relaxing to unwind on in the evening, after a day of walking around in the heat. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The property also provides free parking. The only downside is the immediate area. It wasn't terrible but I wasn't crazy about it. Cafes and shopping are a several blocks away. Normally, I wouldn't mind the walk, but it was very hot (100 degrees F) during my visit. Overall, it was a very good stay. I recommend Casa Loreto.

Es un hotel muy acogedor, las habitaciones bastante cómodas y amplias, me encanto la regadera de lluvia que viene del techo. El patio interior de la habitación es un plus. La alberca climatizada fue un deleite de nuestras noches para relajarnos. El desayuno muy rico. El trato de todo el personal fue excelente, siempre muy atentos, nos tuvieron un detalle muy lindo por nuestra luna de miel. en verdad lo recomiendo mucho, vale la pena hospedarse en Casa Loreto 1893. Espero volver pronto.

I am a germophobic and this hotel is just perfect hight cleanliness level. The staff was always courteous and friendly. The property is located in a spot where you can easily walk to the historic center and nice restaurants. Here are some points to improve: -The light of the ac control is way too bright for the ones that like to sleep in a dark space. -the room doesnt have a fan and the guests are required to turn off the ac when leaving somewhere when you're back the room feels stuffy same thing after showers. - I left my bathing suit hanging on the hamac to let it dry out, disappeared after we came back from a walk. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done.

El hotel es muy bonito, cuartos amplios con una bella decoración, muy limpios, me encantó en general todo el hotel e hicieron mi estancia muy agradable. Algo muy bueno también fue el trato amable del personal y el restaurante muy bueno tanto para el desayuno como la comida y cena. Excelente servicio, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Es un hotel muy acogedor, las habitaciones bastante cómodas y amplias, me encanto la regadera de lluvia que viene del techo. El patio interior de la habitación es un plus. La alberca climatizada fue un deleite de nuestras noches para relajarnos. El desayuno muy rico. El trato de todo el personal fue excelente, siempre muy atentos, nos tuvieron un detalle muy lindo por nuestra luna de miel. en verdad lo recomiendo mucho, vale la pena hospedarse en Casa Loreto 1893. Espero volver pronto.

I am a germophobic and this hotel is just perfect hight cleanliness level. The staff was always courteous and friendly. The property is located in a spot where you can easily walk to the historic center and nice restaurants. Here are some points to improve: -The light of the ac control is way too bright for the ones that like to sleep in a dark space. -the room doesnt have a fan and the guests are required to turn off the ac when leaving somewhere when you're back the room feels stuffy same thing after showers. - I left my bathing suit hanging on the hamac to let it dry out, disappeared after we came back from a walk. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done.

Restaurant was limited with options and would serve dishes with partial or changed ingredients. They would run out of food (bread and ketchup). The water was not working the last day and I sent a message to the front desk and the front desk attendant was asleep and never got the message. We had no running water in our room to shower, flush, etc. The pool had algae that went uncleaned (with bugs floating around): that’s not usable:

I stayed there for 10 nights and was amazed by how perfectly manicured the property was, the cleanliness of the rooms, the size of the rooms and the private plunge pool, the amazing food at the restaurant (try the grilled onion petals!), and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. This really was a dream vacation thanks to Casa Loreto. It was the perfect hotel. The only critique I could give is that it’s about a 20 minute walk from prime Centro, meaning it is not as conveniently located as some of the other tourist trap hotels. However, I had no problems walking around the city from CL, and it allowed me to explore Barrio Santiago. Thank you, Casa Loreto, for a stellar vacation!! I will definitely be back, hopefully soon!

Casa Loreto 1893 is an on oasis in the city. It is on a busy street, yet the property is very serene. It is an architectural beauty that was designed and decorated very well. I enjoyed the enclosed patio in front of my room, with a hammock. It was very relaxing to unwind on in the evening, after a day of walking around in the heat. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The property also provides free parking. The only downside is the immediate area. It wasn't terrible but I wasn't crazy about it. Cafes and shopping are a several blocks away. Normally, I wouldn't mind the walk, but it was very hot (100 degrees F) during my visit. Overall, it was a very good stay. I recommend Casa Loreto.

El hotel es muy bonito, cuartos amplios con una bella decoración, muy limpios, me encantó en general todo el hotel e hicieron mi estancia muy agradable. Algo muy bueno también fue el trato amable del personal y el restaurante muy bueno tanto para el desayuno como la comida y cena. Excelente servicio, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This place was very nice, and we strongly recommend it. Sadly, the restaurant is not getting any promotion and is not visible from the road, to passersby, so it was not attractive to eat dinner there. This is not fair on the chef and staff!

You drive through an area where you've think you've made a terrible mistake of the hotel you chose, and then you go through the gate and find an absolutely beautiful hotel, elegantly decorated and landscaping that reminds you of Latin times years ago. Huge rooms! We had a very large room with two King (real King) sized beds, a very large bathroom and a private outer area with a hammock. Thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and the pool (not extremely large, but good for several people). While there is nothing close by to walk to, except the Zoo, transportation is easy to get.
