Si viaja con un coche grande, mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc. busqu otro hotel, éste no tiene garaje ni aparcamiento y el de allado además de caro es horroroso, yo tuve que efectuar nueve maniobras para aparcarlo y otras tantas para salir, está lleno de columnas y curvas cerradas.

Parking is not “free”. Staff tried to explain that even though it is listed on their Expedia “amenities” that “free offsite parking” meant that you are free to park there, but it is at a charge. All other hotels have clear language on this (eg offsite parking for 22Euros/night). Hotel/Expedia must correct this (and reimburse for the mistake because this hotel was chosen on the basis of parking included.

Great location, nice clean/modern rooms (not huge, but don’t need a ton of space in Granada with so much to see and do outside). We also had the 6 floor level access which was really nice (breakfast and happy hour/evening snacks with a great view of the Allhambra.

The professionalism and yet kindness of the staff from checkin to housekeeping to concierge was phenomenal. They truly made us feel like they cared about our experience. Very comfortable beds. Our experience was outstanding and wanted to really thank Andrea Fortis for welcoming us and taking care of us, organising my dads birthday cake and giving us the best experience ever. Our level Junior suite rooms were clean and big and had all the things which we needed as a kettle, coffee machine, etc.

Wonderful wonderful stay. Central location to all the things I wanted to do. The staff spoke enough English to assist me at check in and gave me a complimentary map and highlighted locations to visit during my stay. My room was very tidy and clean. The ceiling color was absolutely my favorite (Tiffany blue). My only teeny tiny complaint was the noise from the streets (couple of bars near hotel). I was on the 3rd floor so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend requesting a top floor. Would absolutely book here again.

The staff were just excellent. We stayed Friday and Saturday and had a deluxe room which faced front avenue. We were on the fourth floor and the night noise - with the windows closed - was awful. Went on until 05:30 am! Couldn’t sleep through it and I use earplugs. Next morning we spoke to the staff who seemed surprised that on the fourth floor we would hear noise but they diligently found us a non deluxe room that faced the interior. Had a noise free Saturday night. Would stay there again. But not facing the street.

L'hotel, ristrutturato di recente, è magnifico, così come la città. La catena Meliá difficilmente delude, ma questa struttura supera qualsiasi aspettativa. La nostra stanza aveva la vista sull'Alhambra ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Dotata di ogni comfort, arredata con gusto e in stile moderno. Luci e prese elettriche abbondano (e non è affatto scontato). Spero di tornare a Granada e, compatibilmente col prezzo, sicuramente sceglierò ancora Meliá Granada.

Perfect location right in the middle of Granada. We were offered an upgrade to our room for a small fee which we took and got a gorgeous room with views of the Alhambra Palace. Everything about this Hotel was first class and would highly recommend stopping here.

The staff was great and very helpful. The room was good, clean and comfortable. However there was too much noise during the night! The trash collection was around 1 am, many tourists were loud in the street until around 2am. Maybe becase were in the first floor but still, we couldn’t get a good sleep that night.

This was the perfect hotel for a few days in Granada & to see Alhambra. A short taxi from the bus terminal and train station (12 min walk) and right in the heart of the shopping areas. Lovely hotel with modern designs and stylish room. Nice large shower too. Everything is walkable from the hotel, the old town and Alhabra are not far (amazing bus service around the city from the stop close to the city) and the flamenco caves are a short cheap bus/ taxi away and well worth a visit. This was the perfect hotel for a few days exploring Granada and the spectacular Alhambra

The best Meliá hotel I stayed in Spain - the service was great, they greeted us so kindly, gave us a special Alhambra tea, the location was so amazing, just a block down so many tapas/bars, live music, shopping, I truly enjoyed the hotel and the neughbourhood.

The check in process was disappointing. We were aware that the check in time was 2 pm. We requested for an early check-in. When the front agent informed us that the room won't be available until 2 pm. This is fine with us. So we went to tour the area. When we returned at 3pm, our room was still not ready. We had our reservation at Palacios Nazaries at 5pm. This caused us to missed our reservation time and we were unable to visit it and unable to receive a refund. Other than this inconvenient, we were able to enjoyed the beautiful city.

The hotel is good, staff at the front desk were friendly however the failed to let me know that i am not supposed to have breakfast at the upper terrace. My husband and i had the most embarrassing experience, as we got coffee and food and were about to sit down and eat when staff approached us, asked the room number and told us that we could not eat here. I told them i would happily pay..but no! They told us to go to level 0 and put put our plates down. It was really strange, as they food we already plated would be wasted anyways. Why this was not shared at the check in or as we entered the dining area upstairs is beyond me. I travel a lot and never been treated this way..its just breakfast! Embarrassing experience and something that i will unfortunately remember not in a positive light.

Excellent location, if you are in decent shape and prefer walking to explore the city, it’s very walkable to the Alhambra, Albaicin. You’ll walk by shops, restaurants, moorish streets, churches and even stop for hammam, and it felt pretty safe and lively at night

The front desk/reception personnel were very courteous, respectful and helpful, the room we were assigned, although a bit small for our taste, was very clean well provided. And the breakfast buffet on the sixth floor, was to die for. All in all, I would rate this hotel, and our two-day stay, as a 4.5 to 5.

When we were told we had club level, 6th floor, separate reception at check in, we knew this hotel was going to be special. We were given a refreshing drink and offered a comfortable place in the large lounge to unwind during the process. We were able to enjoy the wonderful views of the city and the Alhambra on top of the hill through a wall of windows. There were other drinks and snacks available to us as well. When we were ready, we were shown to our room on the same floor near the lounge which would also serve as the breakfast area in the morning. Our room was large and well-appointed with a French door to our terrace which faced the Alhambra. There were chairs and a table for us to sit and enjoy the view. We enjoyed the 5-7pm social with drinks and tapas each night. We ate at Pecorino near the lobby as we were tired from traveling and didn’t want to seek out a place for dinner. It was a good meal with good service. This was the first hotel in Spain to offer wash cloths in our bathroom and I was so happy about that! Our king bed and pillows were wonderful. I know most people don’t like bathtubs in hotels, but after 4 weeks of travel, I enjoyed my bath. Another perk was the water bottle filler in the lounge area. Our room had black out curtains so we had no idea what time it was in the morning. Great sleeping conditions! I didn’t want to leave. After traveling all over Spain, Meliá was one of the best places we stayed. If you want to be pampered, don’t hesitate to stay here

This is a fantastic hotel. Their “Level” rooms are their Club Level and give full access to their Club Lounge on the 6th Floor with full complimentary breakfast in the morning and cocktails from 5-7pm. Even better is that the Club Lounge has a panoramic views of The Alhambra, Cathedral, and the hills of Granada. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. This hotel is superb!

Car parking is a challenge - so narrow - if you have a big car/SUV forget it. Give the hotel restaurant a miss, poor food and zero atmosphere.

I did not know anything about this Melia before arriving there but a person at the Granada Airport said it was top knotch and the taxi driver was very impressed. I too was impressed with everything about it, especially utilizing the area on the 6th floor for a panoramic view of the city. You can see the snow capped Sierra Navada Mountains; the Alumbra, and so nany more views. The breakfasts and snacks were great. Even though the 6th floor costs is additional its well worth it. My suite was excellent and i especially loved the rain shower. The Melia is surrounded by everything you need. If i ever return to Granada, i will stay there.

Excellent hotel, spacious rooms and friendly staff. They have two dinners, we were placed on the 6th floor dining area and it included free open bar which was awesome. I think they can improve the speed of a La Carte option or simply placed scrambled eggs for faster self service. Other than that is a great place to stay, we loved itand recommend it. 👏
