The property could easily be 5*. I image that it is just missing some facility required for this rating. There is a U line tube station 5 mins away with easy access to wherever you want to go. There is also an S line equidistant in the other direction. The only negative is that the bar / restaurant staff are not too friendly, but I guess that they are not directly linked to the hotel and operate as a separate entity. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

Store fine rom, god service, bra plassering. Renhold og påfyll av kaffekapsler og vannflaske hver dag. Stort sett veldig fornøy og drar gjerne tilbake hit. Men litt trekk pga dårlig treningsrom, det var lite og veldig dårlig luft i tillegg til at flere av maskinene ikke fungerte.

The hotel is beautiful and in a picturesque location along the river. It is within walking distance to the S-train, bus and trams (all easy to use with the BVG app. The lobby is huge with comfortable seating throughout. If you opt for breakfast ($25), there is a nicely appointed dining room with a buffet that has everything you can think of. Wait staff and cooks are excellent. But I opted out on my last day, since the price is a little steep and we were running, so enjoying the meal would have been hard. There is a gym and sauna I didn’t use, but heard was nice. There is a restaurant attached, in the even you want to order room service or a bite or drink without going out. Prices are fair given the location, accommodation and selection. The room I had was a single queen, which was comfortable and the room was beautiful with a view of the river. There is no real AC. It is more like a vent, but propping the window open gave plenty of breeze. I recommend staying here. Great, safe location and excellent accommodations. Price is fair.

The hotel itself is very stylish. The bar was nice and the service in the bar was exceptional. Top tip - the hot chocolate! However... we paid for an upgrade to a nicer room, got a great room on the 8th floor with river views. But... then EVERY morning from about 6am we had the thumping of the treadmill from the fitness suite on the floor above coming into the room. And I don't just mean a small noise. I'm talking water torture level sound. I'm talking about the kind of sound that resets your own heartbeat! When we told the team at reception they gave us the kind of meek apology that comes from a team who know exactly how bad it is but gave us the room anyway. I'm most annoyed we paid for the upgrade to get it, so definitely reject the upgrade when its offered to you! Our friends were in the 7th floor and it woke them up too. Whatever you do, dont take a room on the 7th or 8th floor.

My family of four stayed for three nights in a loft style room with a unique spiral staircase. We found the room to be clean, beds comfortable but the wifi strength was very poor. Our room had a damp odour to it due to an underperforming HVAC system or carpet needing to be cleaned/changed.You could experience a day/night contrast in air quality between the hallway & our room. The lighting in our room could use improvement with pot lights or equivalent. My wife & I enjoyed sitting upstairs in the lobby where there’s complimentary water, plenty of natural lighting.

Wir haben einen 5 Tage Städtetripp als Familie unternommen. Die ruhige und gepflegte Lage sowie die gute Verkehrsanbindung haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das zweckmäßig ausgestattete Zimmer war geräumig. Die Reinigung erfolgte nur auf Wunsch und nicht täglich. Die Sauberkeit war zufriedenstellend. Abzüge beim Reinigungspersonal gibt es von uns, da der Ablauf des Waschbeckens sehr schlecht ablief, die Handseife nicht nachgefüllt wurde und keine Ersatzrolle Toilettenpapier nachgefüllt wurde - das muss man als gute Reinigungskraft im Blick haben! Leider lag unser Zimmer im Bereich der Anlieferung des Hotels, was morgens ab 4 Uhr das Schlafen bei offenem Fenster unmöglich machte. Insgesamt haben wir uns aber wohl gefühlt.

Fantastic hotel in quiet and idyllic surroundings. Very close to River Spree and S-Bahn. Absolutely recommendable Aware that cleaning is in accordance with request, but carpets in hallways could use an extra wash.

I wish there was a 0 or negative review option. AC did NOT WORK at all. We have complained endlessly to make it work. People used to walk in and make us hear the sound of AC (a mere machine) running but did not care whether it’s letting out cool air or not. We stayed there for 4 nights and they dis not offer or let us move to a new room. AC did not work on all days and every time they came to check the AC they brought a fan with them. We were left with 3 fans in our room (adding pictures for reference) without AC and we paid a lot for this booking. Not sure how they call themselves a 4 star hotel.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. At first when you walk in, the lobby of the hotel looks modern. But upon entering our room we saw holes in the curtains. There is no AC here even though the hotel advertises it, it’s literally just circulating the same air. At night it feels like they turn down whatever air you are getting and the room gets unbearably hot. We were sweating every single night, our sheets were so wet. We don’t even normally sweat at night but this place was too much, had to sleep on top of the covers and got some of the worst sleep of our lives.. not exactly something you want on vacation when you’re on the go 24/7. On top of that they don’t provide a fridge. What 4 star establishment doesn’t have one? We couldn’t even cool down with cold drinks.. this place is def not 4 star as advertised.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was a corner with 2 views of the Spree. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the property is close to the Bellevue metro stop and convenient to buses and trams. The staff are friendly and available 24-7.

Please be careful when booking this hotel. After booking what initially appeared to be a reasonably priced hotel I was stung by hidden fees and was charged twice for a 12.5% city tax. Despite numerous phone calls and emails the hotel are refusing to refund any of the fees. I paid over €86 in additional taxes not shown at the time of booking. There is no transparency at booking and this is deceiving customers. Don’t stay here unless you want to pay more than you bargained for!

I was given a smaller room despite booking a double room and paying a higher price for the larger room. When I inquired later the front desk staff said, we gave you a smaller room because you are a single traveller and larger rooms are for more people. Front desk staff (two guys) were rude and unprofessional. The lady (I think Venessa) was good. Even after complaining to the hotel about the issue later, no satisfactory resolution provided. My last email to the hotel on this subject is still unanswered after over a week.

It was a wonderful 2 night stay. I came to visit from London to see my uncle. The receptionist was wonderful (he worked around 10pm and was an older man) the service was fantastic. Great shower, comfy bed and spacious rooms

As pretty as this hotel was, do not stay here in the summer! A/C is non-existent, despite being advertised as having A/C. We ended our stay a night early to book in to another hotel it was so bad. Daytime staff were amicable, but nighttime staff were atrociously rude. When I went down one evening during our stay to ask for a new room with better a/c (spoiler alert - they're all the same) I was told they were completely booked up (on a Tuesday in off season) and I should open a window. Our room had a very pretty view of the Spree, but was definitely dated and the pillows felt like we were sleeping on mashed potatoes.

Location is a bit out but a three minute walk to the metro including the direct S9 to the airport. The neighborhood is stunning and the river walk by the hotel is a gem. You are also 5 minutes from the beautiful Tier Garten park. Recommended.

It was our first time to Berlin. We liked this property's proximity to the Tiergarten, but had not realized prior to booking that it was not particularly close to more sightseeing areas. There were not a lot of restaurant options nearby. Hotel itself was lovely, right on the water. Housekeeping was not great about refilling coffee service daily, and air conditioning was a bit weak - but altogether, was a good stay.

Un hotel agréable, confortable, propre et plutot chaleureux (hall d'accueil) bien situé pres de la Spree et connecté à courte distance au réseau S Bahn U Banh. Le personnel est aimable et coopératif et il n'y a que des choses positives à dire de notre expérience. Un bémol cependant: même dans un hôtel chic et à quatre étoiles, je considére que payer 50 euros à deux pour un petit déjeuner c'est du n'importe quoi...nous avons donc pris ailleurs d'excellents petits dejeuners pour la moitié de ce prix.

Stayed here for two nights after first arriving to Berlin. It was in a nice quiet yet easily accessible neighborhood with solid food and views. The staff were friendly. The family room I booked was quite roomy and clean though the building itself seemed a bit outdated. The breakfast was a bit pricey though pretty good for what you get. They offered a decent variety of breakfast meats, eggs, breads, cold cuts, etc. The hotel was conveniently located near several restaurants. Overall a decent place to stay.
