Room and staff were great, great atmosphere in Bar / Restaurant at night!!! Once you step outside the hotel and turn towards the Train Station- that’s when you realize it is unsafe area. Turn Left from Hotel Lobby and area is Fine.

Didn’t find the entrance at the first attempt because of the construction. The staff at the reception was wonderful, especially Mr Tat. So helpful and friendly, it was a pleasure dealing with him.

Ein sehr schönes altes Hotel mitten FrAnkfurt. NUR 6 min zum Städelmuseum 6 min zum Hbf Also wunderbare Lage für einen Aufenthalt in Frankfurt am Main. Um ein altes Hozel zum erblühen zu bringen, wäre bei dem Preis einiges zu tun. Tische erneuern. Kratzer, die Reinigung des Sofas im Zimmer von Flecken, die geründliche Reinigungdes Bades. Unprofessional staff. Nothing worked well..Sauna didn’t work. Air conditioning leaked and had to change rooms, but forgot to give us childbed (but remembered to charge us for it) Check in not till 6pm,, restaurant food terrible and cold

Great stay, but we booked the property next door, Le Meridien. Was not made aware that property was under construction. It is actually a Marriott property we stayed at, Expedia needs to share that information when booking. Staff was helpful and personable. AC in room blocked for settings above or below 3° changes up or down. VERY warm sleeping and getting ready in the room. Also very small.

They charged my card twice even though I mentioned that I had already paid in advance. They never responded regarding this matter. The A/C was not working in the room. Also the room was creepy. It gave off 'haunted mansion' vibes. The carpet was disgusting.

Property is surrounded by homeless people and after 7pm, it is simply not safe to walk. Housekeeping is terrible. I asked for change of sheets and they told me housekeeping is closed and handed me to change my own sheets. This is not what i except for a 350 dollar a night hotel. They also lost my laundry and hotel manager could care less that i was leaving at 5.30am following morning. Not a pleasant experience at what should of been a care free stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Le Meridien in Frankfurt. The location near the train station and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the river is outstanding. The inside was recently renovated and they did a lovely job. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and comfortable and clean. It also looked out at the skyline which was lovely - especially at night and early morning. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the breakfast at the hotel and it was truly amazing. They had eggs prepared to order, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, baked tomatoes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, an assortment of breads - savory and sweet. There was cheese and jelly and jam and delicious coffee! Everything was upscale and beautifully presented.

BEWARE! They advertise air conditioning but it’s awful! We had two rooms and both were awful. Air conditioners did not work .. one smelled of cigarettes and the other of sauerkraut??? I preorded a pot of coffee and they literally brought half a cup for 10eu… remote to tv did not work. We stay at primarily Marriot properties and Le Meridian’s have as keys been great… but STAY AWAY

I stay here every year for Frankfurt Book Fair, and it's always superb. Rooms are modern, beds are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast buffet is top-notch, with many hot and cold options. It's a short ride on the local trolley to the Festehalle, and you need only walk around the corner to catch the trolley. The neighborhood around the train station is a bit sketchy, but the hotel is out of the sketchy zone. I recommend this hotel highly!

Nice Hotel, easy to find, walkable from train station ! A bit noisy at night....but the double glass window works! Did not try breakfast because need to get early train.....but you definitely find a nice coffee and pretzel at train station !

Only in town for one night for the EUROS and chose the hotel as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member. As expected, a warm welcome was received and the room was spacious and modern. Located just a short walk from the Bahnhof, Le Meridien is a sensible choice if visiting Frankfurt.

I canceled my reservation thru Expedia -and the reservation on Expedia showed it was canceled so when I got a bill in my email, I contacted the hotel. They told me I didn’t cancel the reservation. Then I found out through Expedia that they had a second reservation, which I thought was odd because I didn’t make one I didn’t get a second confirmation, they told me they would contact the hotel. I sent them the copy of the cancellation notice and the hotel is that I had two reservations well if they thought I had two reservations, they could’ve asked if it was a duplicate reservation. However, they are not interested in customer service and despite using the Meridian in other European cities, I will never book with them again due to the lack of customer service. It’s a pathetic example of where this brand has gone down the tubes

The staff was very accommodating upon our arrival. I had messed up the reservation and they were able to work with me to make it right. On top of that they gave us a free room upgrade and breakfast. Could not have asked for more from the registration desk. Thank you! Expedia - You disappoint me in the lack of ability to reschedule my original reservation on my phone.

Zimmer war OK, Rezeption etwas überfordert (Ausstellung einer Rechnung ist für Geschäftsreisende Standard, war aber beim Meridien sehr kompliziert ). Muss ich nicht nochmal haben.

Property is surrounded by homeless people and after 7pm, it is simply not safe to walk. Housekeeping is terrible. I asked for change of sheets and they told me housekeeping is closed and handed me to change my own sheets. This is not what i except for a 350 dollar a night hotel. They also lost my laundry and hotel manager could care less that i was leaving at 5.30am following morning. Not a pleasant experience at what should of been a care free stay.

From the moment I walked in the lobby, the staff was top notch. Very friendly, greeted me with a glass of juice and checked in with ease. Took me to the elevator and escorted me to my room. I appreciated that since I was a senior lady traveling alone

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich möchte Ihnen ein Feedback zu einer Buchung vom 2. auf den 3.Juli geben. Wir haben diesen Übernachtung unserer Tochter zum 18. Geburtstag geschenkt zusammen mit einer Konzertkarte. Das Einchecken war inakzeptabel und für ein 5 Sterne Hotel völlig unpassend. Laut Buchung sollte eine Check in ab 6.00 Uhr morgens möglich sein (wie auch immer das gehen soll). Meine Tochter traf gegen 12.00 Uhr ein und wurde um eine Stunde vertröstet. Nach einer Stunde wurde Sie erneut für eine halb Stunde vertröstet. Auch nachdem sie eine Dreiviertelstunde später wieder am Hotel war, war das Zimmer weiterhin nicht bezugsfertig und es dauert noch. Eine Bezug war dann nach 15.30 Uhr erst möglich. Eine derartiger Service ist mehr als unangebracht. Es verbleibt zudem das Gefühl, dass andere Hotelgäste nicht derart wie zwei 18 jährige junge Frauen behandelt worden wären. Es verbleibt insgesamt eine enttäuschendes Gefühl. Ich hätte mehr erwartet…. Positiv anzumerken ist, dass das Zimmer schön war (wurde ja auch lange genug hergerichtet) und auch das Frühstück gut war. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Jeltsch

We had a wonderful stay at the Le Meridien in Frankfurt. The location near the train station and an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the river is outstanding. The inside was recently renovated and they did a lovely job. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and comfortable and clean. It also looked out at the skyline which was lovely - especially at night and early morning. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the breakfast at the hotel and it was truly amazing. They had eggs prepared to order, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, baked tomatoes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, an assortment of breads - savory and sweet. There was cheese and jelly and jam and delicious coffee! Everything was upscale and beautifully presented.

Room and staff were great, great atmosphere in Bar / Restaurant at night!!! Once you step outside the hotel and turn towards the Train Station- that’s when you realize it is unsafe area. Turn Left from Hotel Lobby and area is Fine.

We liked the proximity to the train station. We liked that our Viator tour picked us up at the front door. We did not like the general area, feeling somewhat unsafe.

The hotel itself and the staff were great. For the room, the shower design wasn't great. It always flooded the floor. Also, the air conditioning worked, but it wasn't great. I did my research before booking, and I learned that there were some streets to avoid near the train station. I learned that there were many more streets to be avoided! Try to avoid anything north of the hotel. Everything south of the hotel and along the river walk was nice.

I stay here every year for Frankfurt Book Fair, and it's always superb. Rooms are modern, beds are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast buffet is top-notch, with many hot and cold options. It's a short ride on the local trolley to the Festehalle, and you need only walk around the corner to catch the trolley. The neighborhood around the train station is a bit sketchy, but the hotel is out of the sketchy zone. I recommend this hotel highly!

The hotel is just fine. It is five minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and about a 15 minute walk from the Romer area and is near the river. People we nice and the room as just fine. It is a standard American hotel room, so functional but nothing special. Note breakfast price is outrageous.

The staff was quite kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and functional. Breakfast was only okay for the price ($38 euros per person if you pay morning of). In hindsight, we would have gotten breakfast somewhere else.

Hotel and staff were lovely but the air-conditioning was really struggling with this recent exceptional heatwave. My room was in full sun all day and was overheating. However the staff were excellent and moved me to another room. Special thanks to Rosa at the front desk for dealing professionally with my complaint
