Touchless (no-staff), got digital pin to open door, texted to check out, all odd but it worked. There was a bench by a stream and a firepit on the hill and a tea room that I didn't happen to make use of. There were deer eating apples off a tree in the front yard. The room had a huge chandelier that could be made very bright, would have been good for reading. No TV! Magnetic curtain holder bolas. Complimentary little bottle of wine. Fun, quaint.

Such a sweet stay. The Garden View Room was lovely. Understated rustic chic. Although vintage, nothing felt old. We loved the small bottle of wine and the log ready in the fireplace. We actually lit the fire and it didn’t overheat the room but gave us a soothing vibe. Plus great coffee and a big fridge provided. We would DEFINITELY stay again. Wish we had more time to spend around the garden. I’m not sure why anyone would rate this below a 9. We give it a 10! It was our favorite room on our 900 mile, 5 night road trip.

This farmhouse is absolutely beautiful! Very large rooms, fireplace gives it a nice ambience. Very picturesque. The grounds are well maintained with flowers and huge trees, not to mention a little stream. Must walk around the farmhouse grounds to appreciate the beauty of this place. The beauty of Mendocino County is one-of-a-kind, feels like "heaven on earth".

We love the 2 big rooms connected as one big house. We love the woody property that is very close to downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and safe. The unit that we got needs a few upgrades. The carpet has to go. The other units have hardwood floors. The wifi is weaker at night, u cant watch anything. Same goes w the cellphone signal, cant make a phone call not surf the internet even if you used your own data. The staff were very friendly and front desk personnel were quick to response. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet, clean place to overnight. Room had lovely antiques in it, nice bottle of wine as well. It's a refurbished older building so there was the expected moans and groans from plumbing and electrical. VERY nice place to stay with nice staff. Will definitely stay here next time I'm up.

Cute place, but misses personal interaction. Everything is fine via text. No follow up to see if we needed anything or if we were ok. We found leftover pizza on the table and left over food in the fridge. No problem but couldn’t find a trash can to throw it away. Had nobody to ask. Texts went unanswered. Other than that, place was clean, bed comfortable and fairly quiet. Very cute place.

Quiet room. Comfortable bed. My only complaint would be that there were no directions as to how to work the heater and it got a bit warm and the bathroom was a bit dirty with the body wash bottle being empty. I didn’t see anyone else there. Easy to check in.

It was cute but very dirty. Ants everywhere, rug stains & stains in the bathroom. The door downstairs is ALWAYS open which is very unsafe. There isn’t any AC and the windows don’t have a screen. Again very unsafe. Will never stay again.

The room was fine and comfortable and the grounds pleasant. However the carpet was visibly stained all over the place--some spots were so dirty and concerning, we walked on tippy toes to avoid touching it with our feet. Also there was some sort of white liquid (of a cream consistency) on the doorstep rug when we checked in. It was never cleaned the entire duration of the stay.

Farmhouse is quaint, clean, located close to the coast and reasonably priced. Complimentary local wine, coffee & tea was provided! It is an old farmhouse so walls are thin. I suggested management provide complimentary bottled water as the tap water may be safe but distasteful for drinking, tea or coffee (chlorinated?).

It was quiet and cozy, felt like a great getaway from the city. It was a true Victorian experience! Some things to watch out for: They advertise their property directly on the coast as being available to all customers. This turned out to be not true. If you turn on the fireplace, the room will heat up really really quick! Maybe not best for the summer Some windows can be easily seen through and are accessible from outside, if you have concerns regarding safety, (which we didn't, as it is a very quaint location)

Sweet place to stay. We brought our dog and they left her a nice bed and food and water bowls. We were very content. We came during one of the only hot days of the year in Mendocino, so obviously no a/c, but they were kind enough to lend us a fan.

We got in late at night after hours of driving. The Inn is a "Hostless" establishment. You have to find your room (tucked around back in a hidden nook) and get in with a key code from an email I couldn\'t find. Fortunately another guest who was a software engineer, put on her robe and slippers, came downstairs to help us find our room and through repeated tries, got our door open for us. The room was clean, the TV was in German, the tub had no plug, you could hear the guest next door as if they were in the room, I\'m glad we were there just for one night, it wasn\'t my best hotel experience.

Such a charming place, perfectly situated near the beach and just a short drive from the quaint town of Mendocino. It was a lovely little getaway for me and my dog. This is a hostless hotel, which I didn’t mind at all—their texting staff was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. I especially appreciated the early check-in notification, allowing me to settle in two hours before the standard 4 PM check-in time. The atmosphere here is so peaceful. My only minor complaint is that the room stayed a bit warm, but they provided a box fan, which helped a lot. Other than that, I was very comfortable throughout my stay. I visited for a hiking trip, and after a long day on the trails, it was wonderful to come back, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy the chardonnay provided by the hotel. The only downside is that food options are quite limited—there's no fast food, DoorDash isn’t available, and the nearby Little River Market closes at 7 PM. After a long hike, I was starving and had to drive into Mendocino for basic groceries. However, with better planning next time, this won’t be a deal-breaker for me. All in all, this place is absolutely adorable, full of charm and comfort, and I will definitely be coming back!

Quiet room. Comfortable bed. My only complaint would be that there were no directions as to how to work the heater and it got a bit warm and the bathroom was a bit dirty with the body wash bottle being empty. I didn’t see anyone else there. Easy to check in.

Such a charming place, perfectly situated near the beach and just a short drive from the quaint town of Mendocino. It was a lovely little getaway for me and my dog. This is a hostless hotel, which I didn’t mind at all—their texting staff was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. I especially appreciated the early check-in notification, allowing me to settle in two hours before the standard 4 PM check-in time. The atmosphere here is so peaceful. My only minor complaint is that the room stayed a bit warm, but they provided a box fan, which helped a lot. Other than that, I was very comfortable throughout my stay. I visited for a hiking trip, and after a long day on the trails, it was wonderful to come back, unwind by the fireplace, and enjoy the chardonnay provided by the hotel. The only downside is that food options are quite limited—there's no fast food, DoorDash isn’t available, and the nearby Little River Market closes at 7 PM. After a long hike, I was starving and had to drive into Mendocino for basic groceries. However, with better planning next time, this won’t be a deal-breaker for me. I appreciated being able to bring my pup here and it was easy to get everywhere. It had become hot and missed being able to open any of the windows and a real coffee mug would have been best to add that extra touch!

We were out early in day so by evening a small Tv would have been nice. And also access to ice somewhere. Otherwise room was lovely and wine much appreciated.

Absolutely enjoyed the tranquility and the vintage vibe. Room was warm and comfortable upon arrival. Wine and coffee was delicious. The passing deer were an added feature. Duel showed heads fantastic. Tea room was very quaint.

Touchless (no-staff), got digital pin to open door, texted to check out, all odd but it worked. There was a bench by a stream and a firepit on the hill and a tea room that I didn't happen to make use of. There were deer eating apples off a tree in the front yard. The room had a huge chandelier that could be made very bright, would have been good for reading. No TV! Magnetic curtain holder bolas. Complimentary little bottle of wine. Fun, quaint.

Such a sweet stay. The Garden View Room was lovely. Understated rustic chic. Although vintage, nothing felt old. We loved the small bottle of wine and the log ready in the fireplace. We actually lit the fire and it didn’t overheat the room but gave us a soothing vibe. Plus great coffee and a big fridge provided. We would DEFINITELY stay again. Wish we had more time to spend around the garden. I’m not sure why anyone would rate this below a 9. We give it a 10! It was our favorite room on our 900 mile, 5 night road trip.

Our room was good. There was though a towel left behind from previous guest hanging behind the bathroom door and they left 3 of their shirts in the closet. The room was clean and there was a space heater thank goodness. On the bad side we couldn’t get the digital door lock to work and we had to drive into town to get cell reception so we could call for assistance. Funny thing, there was ear plugs for your comfort beside the bed. Thankfully our neighbors turned their tv off around 10:30 so it got quiet then.
