Our room was fantastic with everything we needed and was huge. The hotel bar is only small and not open much. The pool area is lovely although again only small. The area the hotel is located in does not have many bars, shops etc. There is a food market opposite which is great for fast food but it is not where you'd go for a nice meal. We walked to lumpini park which took around 30 mins and also a walk to Patpong night market was around 35 mins. If you are getting a taxi from the airport be warned our taxi driver spoke no English and the hotel isn't one of the big ones they know so we had to use google translate for him to understand where we wanted to go. I wouldn't stay here again just because the area doesn't have a lot around it but the hotel is very nice if you are just stopping en route eleswhere.

The lifts key card system is not working. The gym is in dire need of revamp. The food was fine, the coffee shop is alright. The opposite dining building is nice- beers, pizza, local food.

The room was large, an apartment really. It was clean and the sheets were clean but the apartment needs renovating. Visible cracks in the wall for instance - nothing major. But noticeable. The TV was useless, so slow and laggy that I lost patience trying to use it. Despite the room being super clean (and I do recommend the hotel to be honest) we did find a cockroach in our apartment. Perhaps it came up through a drain or from the hallway. But you know, not a great experience. Perhaps my room was slighlty more outdated than the rest. The good things about the hotel were: the amazing gym, nice pool and bar area and a great location in the Silom area. The room was also affordable. All in all, I would stay again but probably opt for another room.

1 elevator not working for the entire stay, so all guests us 1 elevator. You would think theyd put a sign up. Breakfast so so, no good if you dont eat meat. Room was soacious but the air con leaked (puddle on floor), toilet flushed 50% of tge time, hot warter was warm at best, 2 tvs but only 1 remote worked, nice view, bed comfortable, room good size, staff friendly.

Fint hotel, venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Dejligt rummeligt værelse med god by udsigt. Fin varieret morgenmad, både vestligt og thaimad. Gratis lift til sky train station og god hjælp til at booke transport. Et godt fitness rum og et dejligt massage sted. Internettet var ikke altid med os. Maid never change our sheet in all the time we stay there. We notice few days after our stay that our sheet feel sandy. We decided to marked our bed with toothpaste to see if the maid actually clean our bed and turn out they didn’t. Thought maybe the next day the maid would, nope still not. Not provided enough towels. Room are loud with old AC and water pipe. 2 of the light were out but we usually don’t stay in so it wasn’t an issue. The worst internet of all hotel I have been to. If you here for work or have work that need to do, this place may not be the choice. Watch out for elevator. It’s shut within a few second. If you don’t get in fast, it will closed on you HARD. Smoking area kind of weird. Transportation is not that convenient. It’s in an alley where if you don’t want to walk, Tuk Tuk around there will charge you 150-200 just to go to lumpini park, MRT, BTS which technically a 5 mins drive. I tried to get taxi instead. Not the Tuk Tuk that parking waiting try to make a quick big buck. Hotel shuttle not always available. And the front desk did not describe the service upon checking in. We found out about it feel days after our stay. The common which is a fancy trendy food court across the street open til 1 am so it’s convenient. But I really like the Thai restaurant right next to the hotel. Mom n pop shop. Affordable and delicious.

Convenient location near central mall. Rooms are little outdated and bed was good but most rooms smell of dirty toilet/urine smell throughout the room. And limited towels. Staff is kind and helpful tho and management needs to do better on quality cleaning and maintenance

The hotel has a very good location, which was a big plus and made it easy to get around Bangkok. The room was large and overall fine in terms of space. However, the hotel did not really match the pictures on Hotels.com – it felt more shabby and less clean than expected. There was also a slightly unpleasant smell in the room, which affected the overall experience. Overall, an okay stay mainly because of the location, but the standard could be better.

The bed was really good but the hotel need a make over. The water in the shower will never be hot and everything is a bit worn out. Even the internet was super slow 😊 The gym is a very good gym for a hotel. I never used the pool. It's on the ground floor and I don't think the sun can come down there The location is okay. It will take max 10 min. walk to the Metro. But if you get a good price and not expect a very modern hotel it's a fine choice and the staff is nice.

It is a shame that the hotel doesn't take care of the rooms... The rooms used to be beautiful I can tell but now it looks outdated and with a lot of flaws... the rooms are screaming for a renovation. Also if you like to sleep in complete darkness then the black outs won't do the job. as it let light come in.

The rooms are large but furniture rather dated. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Small elevators for hotel this size. Did not like that there was no safe in the room which I think is pretty standard. Easy 10 min walk to Lumphini park and also pretty close to Metro which I used to get to Chinatown in 4 stops or about 5 - 10 minutes. Breakfast buffet was reasonable. Staff helpful and quick to respond.

This is a worn down hotel. It just looks like it was great 20 years ago. The photos are not realistic. The AC didn’t really work as it should, the shower only had cold water, paint on the walls are falling off, spider webs in corners, no power outlets in normal locations, the floor wasn’t cleaned so I stepped in massage oil spread around the bed… Nasty. This should be a 2 star hotel.

The Quarter is really well located to Silom - a short 10 minute walk away - so has the benefits of proximity to night life and food options, whilst also being tucked away and quiet. My Deluxe room was very spacious, with a generous bathroom, and entertaining area. Downsides however, were noise carrying from the hallway, and incomplete blind coverage.

Check in process was horrible. Lobby area is small. 1,000 deposit in cash only option. So if flying in from another country please remember to have exchanged some money. When I asked for an explanation on why cash only they replied it’s easier. Went to the penthouse but no robe, provided only 2 bottles of water and did not refill the next day. Some of the cabinets in the kitchen were off track. Tv you will need to login using a Gmail account to use. At check out you will have to wait until the room service checks to see if anything was purchased at the mini bar. Again by using a credit card it speeds up the check out process but I could be wrong. The location was not ideal. Me personally I would look at other options before choosing this hotel. Staff did not make me aware of any services available during the stay. Just bad communication and Penthouse suite is not worth the price point.

Overall a GREAT property. However, we had an issue with the air conditioner that took a while to get resolved. The property Manager not only got the issue resolved immediately once she was aware of it but after doing so wanted to know what else she could offer in light of the inconvenience. Her Outstanding Customer Service made all the difference as we will stay here again having to come to Bangkok from Hua Hin frequently. Honestly, if the Manager had not shown attention to detail and in getting this resolved I wouldn't consider coming here again. On another note, the Commons across the street is a convenient and great food, dessert and drink spot. There are plenty of great restaurants as well as street vendors. Your also close by the infamous Lumpini Park...

This was an unfortunate experience from the outset. The hotel misplaced my main piece of luggage between my arrival and check-in time. While it was recovered, it added a great deal of unnecessary stress. Equally disruptive were the groaning and gurgling pipes in the bedroom of my suite. These caused a constant racket, making it difficult to sleep. The staff were informed of the issue and agreed it was truly a problem, but they did not take any action to correct it or change my accomodations. The staff would also not arrange for a metered taxi for my departure and insisted on only using their sedan service. The initial price for this was extortionate: 2500 baht. While this was eventually negotatied down, the whole process bookended an unpleasant stay. The redeeming qualities are the hotel's cebtral location with easy access to two metro lines and its consistent albeit unusual breakfast buffet which had Asian and Western options (does anyone eat pasta in the morning?!).

This hotel is ideally located near the action of Patpong and the beauty of Lumphini Park- both a few minutes walk away. Also the breakfast buffet was outstanding with numerous choices that changed each day. The hotel is a bit dated, however as it’s probably an older property

Breakfast varied and was great every day. Selections of egg bar, dumplings, baos, to various rice, meats, noodles, fresh fruit and desserts. The rooms are 99% sound proof, only sound is some very light sounds through the front door, otherwise super quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. There is some age noticeable to the floor and walls, some needs repainting and polishing the wood floor would be a nice touch. The toilet mechanism, shower fixture, and bathroom sink knobs could use a touch from maintenance. It would also be amazing if the beside light switches were functioning. Overall a decent deal for the space but there are other hotels in comparable areas that are almost new and with very close square footage at the same price. I stayed mostly to experience the neighborhood but may consider the other The Quarter hotel next time.
