Picture shows a great roof top. Was unaware of that. Might have been a missed opportunity. Staff was helpful, but they were very pushy about booking a car for the trip the port for a cruise. Was told "cabs could be more expensive" as they nodded towards a picture of a black car. We booked the certainty of the car for $175. Car showed by 25 minutes late and was a crappy Renault van. Crappy is being polite. Horrible ride. Could have taken a taxi in a better vehicle for $150. Very deceptive. Room was nice. And quiet. Nice location. Shower was war, not hot. Very frustrating after a day of travel. Would not stay here again when in Rome.

Fantastic accommodation. We stayed at the fourth floor in the main hotel building. Walking distance to most of the major turist spots. Clean, friendly, and accommodating staff, and an excellent AC system that worked perfectly during a heatwave in August. The atmosphere was wonderful, both in the hotel and throughout the surrounding neighborhood. The piazza nearby was especially charming. The rooftop terrace at the top of the hotel was a perfect place to admire the views over Rome at sunset before heading out for dinner. (The only downside was the pricey breakfast. Not worth 25 Euros per person - we only had it once during our stay - but that was easily solved by going to nearby restaurants). We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. (3 guest - 6 nights).

The location is great, as the piazza is less than two minutes away walking, and during the day it is a market and at night the restaurants put out outdoor seating. We really enjoyed being able to spend time at the piazza both in the morning and late evening. The hotel itself is an interesting set up: they have two locations about a block apart. We were at the location that was away from the main building. It felt more like an airbnb, without staff directly on site. That being said, the staff were very helpful with carrying bags to the room and cleaning up daily. I'd stay there again.
