Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The staff at check in were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Indy.

The hotel has all the bells and whistles that one would expect for a new hotel in a bigger city. Probs the nicest hotel in Indy, and this is from someone who as a kid got to sleep in one of those train car hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza. Check-in was a breeze. Once I got settled, I grabbed some drinks and apps at the rooftop bar, Astrea, which has a patio overlooking the Soldiers' and Sailors' monument on the circle. There was a full moon on the rise, which only elevated the atmosphere even more. The Boulevardier -- a thoughtful take on a Manhattan --was delightful. So too was the second. The local IPA that I ordered to slow things down a bit was solid, which, as someone who has lived on the west coast for the last 20 years, says a lot. I decided to put the chef to the test by ordering the tuna crisp and bao buns. The most Asian thing in Indiana is the Honda plant they built near my hometown a decade or two ago. But I'll be damned if the chef didn't nail both of these dishes. I chatted with the assistant director of sales for the hotel, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and regaled me with stories of her geriatric cat. I remember hearing that Madonna refused to stay in Indy when the Super Bowl was there because she said the hotels weren't nice enough. She's an idiot so we can disregard that. But I bet she would have stayed here if it existed back then. 10 out of 10.

This was the most relaxing experiences I could have ever asked for. We got a flat tire before we got to the city and they were so kind to get us checked in early and then direct us to the closest tire place to get everything fixed up. I don’t think I touched a single door once getting in and out of the place they were always there to help open the doors and get the elevator. I would go back to Indianapolis just to stay there!!
