Loved the cabin. Very convenient to Harpers Ferry and Sheperdstown, both just a short drive away. The cabin was very clean and suited our needs for the short time we were there. Nice little walk down to the Potomac for a great view of the river. We didn't get to use the firepit due to it raining both days we were there. Looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

The cabin was very nice, well appointed with upgraded finishes and a well supplied kitchen. The only draw back was the bugs were in full bloom in April. We didn't think bring bug spray.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250 pounds of beefcake up the ladder was interesting) but they held out great. Generally our stay was pretty much perfect. The bed in particular was super comfy. I would definitely recommend this property to someone trying to be more outdoorsy who also wants close access to cute and bougie towns (which is me) or someone who wants to fish and hike and be close to civil war history (which is the bf).

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in great shape, very comfortable, so tastefully decorated, and I in particular loved the lighting in all the rooms. Lots of attention to detail, including doggy water bowls. We had no issues at all with Wifi or using our phones. The river is a short walk down the road. This is a very peaceful setting except for the occasional fast car/truck. The cabin does sit close to the road. We were a little hesitant because of the property having no oven, but between the microwave, the toaster oven, the grill and Shepherdstown restaurants, making or getting food was very manageable. Had we paid attention to the fact that a Chemex coffee maker was available, we would have made sure to bring the right filters. We managed with the drip coffee maker, which took a while. All in all, we recommend this cabin and hope to try out some of their other properties in the future. The area is lovely.

We had a fantastic four-night stay at this beautiful cabin. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Shepherdstown and Harper's Ferry and only a 2-minute walk to the river, which made it easy for us to explore the area. Clean and adequate for our stay. I'm sorry this was our best choice for 2 sleep areas due to stairs up to loft, and we couldn't understand how to make the stove work. Being in a wooded area was nice but some of the folks along the river made it clear that we didn't belong there.

We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. The next thing you notice is that it is very nicely decorated. There were a few things we didn't take advantage of like the fire pit and the walk to the river, so I can't speak to that. We didn't have cellular service (AT&T) but the WIFI was very reliable. We only cooked one time, but the kitchen was lovely. The bathroom was clean and well laid out and the bed was comfortable. I think I only have one complaint and that is that there weren't enough washcloths or dish towels. One washcloth is not enough for a three night stay. We went out and bought some. Overall, this is a lovely place and we would stay here again if we visit Shepherdstown again. Thank you!

We arrived at our cabin to find it dirty, there was an emergency with their cleaner, but upon calling them to notify of the dirty cabin, they graciously upgraded us to another riverfront property at no extra charge. We had an amazing stay & the customer service & communication were exceptional. We understand that emergencies happen & greatly appreciated the quick response & upgraded location. Thank You!

This property was perfect. I misread (completely my fault and thought it was river facing) but access was just perfect. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable. Loved the few mid-century touches and the heated floors in the bathroom. Close enough to town but just far enough out to enjoy the quiet.

Great location. We requested some needed maintenance that owner took care of same day that should've been performed w/o guests asking. Would suggest some curtains for the upper gable windows, is very bright in the loft as they face east.

Great location. We requested some needed maintenance that owner took care of same day that should've been performed w/o guests asking. Would suggest some curtains for the upper gable windows, is very bright in the loft as they face east.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin, only wish it was off the road a bit more. Owners had great communication throughout. Only issues- no wash cloths and slight musky smell but we still enjoyed stay!

The cabin is down right beautiful, the host were easy to contact and took care of all our needs. The wife and I enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoyed all the wildlife, I haven't seen so many deer in my life. We will definitely book again in the future.

We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. The next thing you notice is that it is very nicely decorated. There were a few things we didn't take advantage of like the fire pit and the walk to the river, so I can't speak to that. We didn't have cellular service (AT&T) but the WIFI was very reliable. We only cooked one time, but the kitchen was lovely. The bathroom was clean and well laid out and the bed was comfortable. I think I only have one complaint and that is that there weren't enough washcloths or dish towels. One washcloth is not enough for a three night stay. We went out and bought some. Overall, this is a lovely place and we would stay here again if we visit Shepherdstown again. Thank you!

We arrived at our cabin to find it dirty, there was an emergency with their cleaner, but upon calling them to notify of the dirty cabin, they graciously upgraded us to another riverfront property at no extra charge. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending). Hosts were gracious and very quickly responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Loved the cabin. Very convenient to Harpers Ferry and Sheperdstown, both just a short drive away. The cabin was very clean and suited our needs for the short time we were there. Nice little walk down to the Potomac for a great view of the river. We didn't get to use the firepit due to it raining both days we were there. Looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in great shape, very comfortable, so tastefully decorated, and I in particular loved the lighting in all the rooms. Lots of attention to detail, including doggy water bowls. We had no issues at all with Wifi or using our phones. The river is a short walk down the road. This is a very peaceful setting except for the occasional fast car/truck. The cabin does sit close to the road. We were a little hesitant because of the property having no oven, but between the microwave, the toaster oven, the grill and Shepherdstown restaurants, making or getting food was very manageable. Had we paid attention to the fact that a Chemex coffee maker was available, we would have made sure to bring the right filters. We managed with the drip coffee maker, which took a while. All in all, we recommend this cabin and hope to try out some of their other properties in the future. The area is lovely.

This property was perfect. I misread (completely my fault and thought it was river facing) but access was just perfect. The cabin had everything we needed and was comfortable. My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250 pounds of beefcake up the ladder was interesting) but they held out great. Generally our stay was pretty much perfect. The bed in particular was super comfy. I would definitely recommend this property to someone trying to be more outdoorsy who also wants close access to cute and bougie towns (which is me) or someone who wants to fish and hike and be close to civil war history (which is the bf).

Yes the host was very welcoming and we did need to speak with them because we locked ourselves out and they were very helpful we truly very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin it is so cute and quaint and so well decorated and homey I would highly recommend it to anyone who is just looking for a little getaway in the woods with beautiful scenery I will definitely try to go back
