Room A was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all amenities. Fridge on 2nd floor with ample fresh cold water, to help yourself to. Lovely terrace on 2nd floor. Breakfast was plentiful, fabulous fresh rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, yogurt and half a dozen beautiful cakes and pastries. Coffee was amazing, thanks Frederico. Hotel right next to the historic area, which is pedestrianised, with lovely shops, buildings, restaurants and cafes. We ate at Babaleus, recommended by Frederico, fabulous pizza and carafes of wine, very reasonably priced. Only sad we only there for one night on our way through to catch a ferry to Greece. Will definitely return.

What a lovely property! The location is perfect, in a quiet street only 2minutes’ walk from the main square and restaurants etc. The house is beautiful, grand, and wonderfully decorated with lots of art and antiques. Comfy bed, huge bathroom, lovely host and excellent breakfast in the picturesque green courtyard garden. There’s also lots of communal space - sitting rooms and dining room and upstairs terrace. A perfect place to stay in Ravenna!

The only problem was that it was a 3 floor walk up. We’re in our 70’s and had 2 heavy suitcases. No one was available to help us. Each time we went out we had to walk up those stairs…. It should have said that in the ad.

The best thing about the property was the breakfast served in the garden courtyard and the salon and outdoor deck where any guest could sit with a complimentary glass of wine or other beverage. The room had a very strange smell almost like sulfur and was hard to get used to, and it was quite dark. It was also street facing as such it was extremely loud even with the windows closed, given it was a Saturday night. For the cost, it was about what I expected and although the beds were quite soft we slept well once 2am rolled around and people had gone home. The morning breakfast was a highlight. The interior courtyard where it is served is also a night club at night hence the activity. Would not recommend this B&B for older couples or families with young children. The neighborhood was great and we overall enjoyed our one night in Ravenna, which is worth visiting for sure.

This building is a historic 17th century home updated with modern conveniences. The staff is very helpful. There is a romantic courtyard for drinks and light eats. Interesting fact is the last owner was a partner of Picasso. I would not recommend for people with mobility issues due to the stairs.

I can’t say enough good things about A Casa di Paola. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean. There’s a lovely garden to eat breakfast in if the weather’s nice, and the breakfast itself is abundant and delicious. It is in a great location, close to everything. But what really stands out is the kindness of Federico and his staff. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was there for two weeks as I was in mosaic classes and if I return to Ravenna I will definitely stay here again.

A place with lots of personality. The house is old, which adds to the charm, the rooms are brand new, large and comfortable. The cleaning staff should clean more during the stay, not only do the bed, but take away dirty cups, trash and tidy up towels. The breakfast was copious and lovely in a beautiful setting. I wish the plugs in the room worked - had to drag the fridge elsewhere so the plug would fit and the tea kettle put in the bathroom for same. Check lightbulbs. Otherwise, I would return because it was really charming and certainly right in the center of things.

Outstanding customer service Anna and Federico were informative and extremely helpfull. The property is one of those rare places that excel in all catagories. Not to be left out are the cleaning staff that were also helpful. This is one of those places that you cannot verbalize how good the experience was unless you stay there yourself.

Silvia, JonLuca and staff were amazing. Everything was perfect. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I felt right at home. Breakfast is Continental style with a nice variety of items. The cappuccino was the best. I loved their oversized cups ! I will definitely come back.

We loved our stay, it was a large room with a kitchen and wonderful art and painted ceiling. Very friendly and helpful host. The breakfast was included and wonderful with a very lovely outdoor area. Everything was in walking distance and close to the train station. Thankyou

It was a lovely room in a lovely building and we would gladly stay there again. I'm personally not a fan of memory foam mattresses, nor mattresses that are low to the ground, but that's a very minor issue. We recommend this facility.

My booked room is by the street, so it was very noisy in the evening whenever cars were passing by. I could not fall asleep. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Everything was amazing. It was a perfect stop for a night before our cruise. The host even helped with arranging a car so we can get to the cruise port on time. The reason I gave 4/5 stars is simply because the air conditioning was sub optimal. It was hot in the room and it never seemed like the air conditioning was working well to cool the room down to a comfortable state.

We like the owners and staff, specifically Federico. There's no elevator, so carried all our suitcases. There's no taxi at 5am to catch our train so he woke up early , brought our luggage down and up in the train flatform, and didn't even accept tip! Thanks Federico! We love you! Thanks a lot to Federico for helping us. We had to leave at 5am, no taxi available yet, so Federico came and brought us to the train station and even brought our luggage and wait with us till our train almost arrived. There was a homeless person in the station throwing things so we were doubly thankful Federico stayed with us. The Bed and Breakfast's washroom is modern and the room is spacious, with very high ceiling. My aunt loved it on sight and immediately asked her daughter to take her pictures with the surrounding. I would surely come back to stay. We love you Federico. Thanks so much!

Great location if you are cruising from ravenna port. About a 5 min walk from the station and then about 20 mins car to the port. They also arranged transport at a good price. Lovely court yard area for breakfast. Plenty of local restaurants with great food within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful.

Amazing from start to finish. Beautiful boutique hotel with courtyard garden. Greeted on check-in by Owner Frederico, who was super friendly and helpful. Room A was spacious and spotlessly clean, with all amenities. Fridge on 2nd floor with ample fresh cold water, to help yourself to. Lovely terrace on 2nd floor. Breakfast was plentiful, fabulous fresh rolls, cheese, ham, cereal, yogurt and half a dozen beautiful cakes and pastries. Coffee was amazing, thanks Frederico. Hotel right next to the historic area, which is pedestrianised, with lovely shops, buildings, restaurants and cafes. We ate at Babaleus, recommended by Frederico, fabulous pizza and carafes of wine, very reasonably priced. Only sad we only there for one night on our way through to catch a ferry to Greece. Will definitely return.

This is such a great place to stay. So close to all shopping, restaurants, and city highlights. The owners are wonderful. They helped me with lost luggage issues, and were there for me, as a guest, when I needed help. I thank them so much! I highly recommend this B&B.

Outstanding customer service Anna and Federico were informative and extremely helpfull. The property is one of those rare places that excel in all catagories. Not to be left out are the cleaning staff that were also helpful. This is one of those places that you cannot verbalize how good the experience was unless you stay there yourself.

Everything was amazing. It was a perfect stop for a night before our cruise. The host even helped with arranging a car so we can get to the cruise port on time. The reason I gave 4/5 stars is simply because the air conditioning was sub optimal. It was hot in the room and it never seemed like the air conditioning was working well to cool the room down to a comfortable state.

I can’t say enough good things about A Casa di Paola. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean. There’s a lovely garden to eat breakfast in if the weather’s nice, and the breakfast itself is abundant and delicious. It is in a great location, close to everything. But what really stands out is the kindness of Federico and his staff. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was there for two weeks as I was in mosaic classes and if I return to Ravenna I will definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect, in a quiet street only 2minutes’ walk from the main square and restaurants etc. The house is beautiful, grand, and wonderfully decorated with lots of art and antiques. Comfy bed, huge bathroom, lovely host and excellent breakfast in the picturesque green courtyard garden. There’s also lots of communal space - sitting rooms and dining room and upstairs terrace. A perfect place to stay in Ravenna!

We loved our stay at Casa Paolo, this period-perfect hotel in central Ravenna. It is close to everything we came to Ravenna to see, most especially the mosaics, but also the center city and the central market, the shops and restaurants. Our apartment had a fully equipped kitchen and lots and lots of space. Very clean and equipped. Sorry we couldn’t spend more time here. Our hostess Anna was more than helpful in all matters and very welcoming.

It is a cool bnb in heart of Ravenna. Super interesting old house and the rooms were just as advertised. Breakfest was really nice. I wish we were all old enough to go to the bar after diner. Music sounded great. House had many additional rooms that we had no time to use. Frederico was great helping us get in a d feel welcome.

Silvia, JonLuca and staff were amazing. Everything was perfect. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I felt right at home. Breakfast is Continental style with a nice variety of items. The cappuccino was the best. I loved their oversized cups ! I will definitely come back.

The hotel is very charming and each area was so thoughtful and welcoming. The breakfast was such a delightful surprise!! Plus recommendations for food were spot on! Anna was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the shuttle to the cruise terminal. Will definitely recommend to others and would love to return some day.

I think it’s very nice. It’s a five minute drive from the train station and a ten minute walk to Galla Placidia’s tomb and San Vitale. The historic town is very small. I walked to all the places I wanted to see. The place is nice, even palatial. Everything works, good supply of sockets for charging things. Very comfortable.
