Stayed there do to price so wasn't expecting much but, the elevator was not working, i had a 65 pound tote I needed to haul up to the second floor. There wasn't a 1st floor room available. I get elevators break, but the check in person watched me struggle to get it up the stairs and didn't offer to help. I had food that needed to be frozed, the freezer was frosted over you couldn't even put an icepack in it to keep it cold. The lights were all unplugged. Which may not seem like a big deal, but when you've checked in at midnight, lugges a 65 pound tote up two flights of stairs, it would have been nice to see where I was going. Also, don't expect much for breakfast on a Friday morning. Bread/toast and two choices of ceral. I must say however, the room was clean, my bed was comfortable and the shower's water pressure was good.

There was a sign at the front desk, saying something like please pardon our mess, but I didn’t see anything being fixed. Instead, just damage all over my room. Wallpaper torn away, tiles in the bathroom missing, the toilet had flakes in it, no matter how many times I flushed, the ceiling was peeling, the couch was stained, the carpet on the stairs was torn up, and everything about this facility seem to be damaged or rundown. Besides a delightful conversation with the front desk staff, and allowing me to park my motorcycle by the front door, this facility was truly awful.

First thing we saw was a green pool. We had very disappointed children. Once we came inside we were told there was no breakfast as advertised but there were snacks. The vending machine for drinks is out of order as well. The new part owner said he had just started 3 weeks ago and they were working on issues. The hotel is dated but it is clean.

If you enjoy half-done repairs, run-down facilities and surrounded by heavy equipment and construction vehicles and not ready to receive guests then this is the place for you! It is July 1 and the pool is not open. Need I say more? I will say more! We have no smoke detector in our room, the bath ceiling is partially patched and stained and the light /fan fixture is not complete. The window only has blackout curtains on it! And the chair and ottoman are sticky and look to be from the landfill. The security lock on the door is broken off, the plug in the tub is just sitting on the edge of the tub…? It isn’t installed. The vending machine is out of order. All this and we haven’t finished our stay. I am so dumbfounded at the state of this place that I couldn’t even wait to review it! I don’t know what else I need to say. I chose this place over other hotels nearby because it had a pool. What a crappy way to lure guests! I have never left a poor review for anywhere because I always find the positive. So here are the positives …at least this place didn’t smell bad, the front desk person was nice and McDonalds is right next door. Hard pass suggested!

Easy access is the best part of this hotel. The room wasn't clean nor did it smell good. I was too grossed out to shower, but it was the only option for 2 hours in the direction that we were going. Woke up to a "Continental" breakfast which included sliced bread, a toaster and some jam. Overall, it's the second worst hotel experience I've ever had.

Found bedbugs in room, the manager only offered to switch the room. I was told that I had to speak with Expedia since it was third party. I contacted Expedia and the guy contacted the manager and he was told that the hotel wasn’t reimbursing anything. I had four rooms total.

My room was infested with roaches. Roaches were coming from the ceiling, the room had roach droppings & when nothing was even looked into when I notified the front desk, my granny & aunt were forced to ATTEMPT C to sleep with the lights on because they feared they would wake up with roaches crawling on them! I called early Saturday morning asking to be connected to my grandma’s room && was RUDELY told that that particular function wasn’t available on their cordless phone. So, I asked for a message to be relayed to my grandmother & to my surprise it never was! I am very unhappy with the customer service & experience I had with this property. I will be requesting a refund && will NOT be starting here again!

Room was huge. Clean for an older property. Downside is we are all sleep at 6:45 am and house keeping just walked in on us. No knock it anything and scared us to death. I know our fault fur but fastening the deadbolt. But who does that?

This hotel was just OK. It was clean and comfortable. If the appliances had been updated I could have given a higher rating. Frig (frost buildup) and microwave (door jams) worked but needed to be replaced. Common area needs updating as well.

This hotel has a more comfortable bed than some more expensive hotels I've stayed in recently... and I loved that! The walls are a bit too thin as I heard the gentleman in the room next to me every time he coughed or talked on the phone. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for the price and I will definitely stay there again when I'm in town.

We called multiple times as we had a service dog nobody answered the phone, when my daughter arrived she waited in the lobby for over an hour and nobody ever showed up just a sign on the front desk stating they would be back shortly she had to find another hotel 20 minutes away extremely unprofessional.

Remodeling going on made for a cluttered hallway with lots of tools on the floor as well as pieces of tile and wood in a few places. Our heat/air unit did not work properly (other guests complained of the same). When we contacted the front desk someone came to look at the air unit, tried to adjust something, then replied we needed to give it a few minutes. It never did work right but he did provide us with extra blankets. Continental breakfast was very, very limited and we ran out of coffee.

Horrible. The manager was outside letting their kids ride bikes in the area where cars enter and depart. Had to park as the manager never even made an effort to move the kids. They advise breakfast. If you consider coffee and toast breakfast then you will be happy. However if you expect more you will hate it. The entire experience was awful. Not only will I never go there again I will be unlikely to use any in that chain Hotels.com should do a better job screening places they allow to advertise

My grand daughter left her stuffed unicorn that she has had since birth. I called the office and they had found it. The nice lady at the desk held it till we came back through after vacation a week later. Life saver.

We have stayed here the last couple of years in our yearly travels. It is 1/2 to our destination and have learned that the service is always very pleasant. Staff is friendly, efficient, helpful and all around an extra plus, especially the night clerk. She was awesome! Keep up the good work.

Well, it is the only place to stay in town. It is under new management, and I hope they can improve on it. We stayed there twice, because Lake Village is halfway between our home and Gulf Shores, Alabama. The first time, we had to wait forever just to get checked in. The room was fine, but I actually had to wake the manager up on the morning just to get some plates out of the "breakfast room." The second time was a better check in, but they had had asprinkler leak, and the dpwnstairs (where i guess the better rooms were) was uninh itable, so we got a room on the secons floor. It was disgusting, and we asked for another room, which the manger that day kindly offered. The second room was better, but (and i wish i hat taken pictures) The two chairs were on their last legs, with damaged upholstery. So, really, the best part of the stay was that it was right next door to a McDonalds, and we could get great coffee at 6 AM.

Nice housekeepers. No breakfast options at all. No food! There was peanut butter crackers - i grabbed as a driving snack. The coffee pots were both empty. The vending machine was out of order. The orange juice machine was out of order. It was out-dated and dingy, but clean. Had to explain to my kids that his was just a "sleep and go" hotel. Which was fine for our sleep needs. I was just disappointed about breakfast. Breakfast was definately false advertisement.

The hotel is in the middle of renovations which are badly needed. The breakfast was virtually nonexistent as the dining area was being renovated. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good value for the price.

Definitely need to remove the BREAKFAST INCLUDED from the amenities list!!!! It was apples, coffee and Nutrigrain bars. VERY disappointed that I had to go out to get BREAKFAST for my family. Price for room is NOT worth it without the real breakfast as listed.

The company wasn’t honest about about the breakfast. Up on checking in, I sent a sign that said like breakfast. The next morning I found that the breakfast was an apple, a Nutrition bar and a broken coffee machine.

We checked in and found the room normal. After dinner when we came back from dinner, we noticed an odor. We believed it to be urine? The bathtub had duct tape over the overflow. Grout missing around the tub/shower. Breakfast to go was a toaster waffle. They did have cereal but had no milk. Had to get the coffee from the lobby. The place had a sign at the front desk saying forgive us while we are under construction. The area for demo / dumpster was the pool. I would not recommend this place.
