We had a wonderful stay! The hotel staff is very friendly, super helpful and professional. It’s in a quiet suburban neighborhood and the hotel is quaint, very well maintained and clean. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding-not continental. The pool and spa are wonderful and the gym is well appointed, with several treadmills/ellipticals/bikes/weights etc. We would stay here again, it’s a great find!

Initial impressions were great--large room, electric car chargers, ample parking. But then someone in another room took a shower and the vibrational noise from the plumbing was horrible--every time some one took a shower. Then, upon check out, the staff did not ask me if i had a nice stay, she barely said a word. If the hotel addressed the horrible noise from the plumbing, this would be a nice place to stay, although they should train all their staff to be a little more guest friendly and attentive (check-in staff was friendly--but not a good last impression).

We stayed at this property for two nights and appreciated the breakfast and spacious room. However, there was no safe in the room, and both laundry rooms were closed with only an apology note on the door. The ice machine and the printer on the first floor was also out of service. It would be better to have these amenities fixed rather than just offering an apology.

Property is nice, safe and clean. Check in staff was fast and professional. Room was made up nice and comfy. AC is cold and smells good (I mean has no smell lol. Which is good.). The AC was rattling a little bit. The plastic cover was a little loose. I gently slid a wash rag in the gap of the cover. Silent now. Shower, shower head, sinks, toilet and mirrors are spotless and shower head is free from any buildup. Microwave and fridge in our room work well. Big bottles of body soap and hair stuff in the shower. Hand soap bar next to the bathroom sink feels good. Firm, but a smooth and clean finish when rinsed off. Lots of different lighting options in the room. A couple of lamps a couple of ceiling lights and a couple of reading lights in each bed. Lots of polite families enjoying the pool. It looks clean as well as the area around is well kept. Pillows are fluffy. Sheets are standard. They feel like a lower thread count, but they aren’t itchy. Just a little stiff. Bed is a medium firmness. You’ll press into it, but not sink into it. It’s what I prefer. Helps straighten my back out.

The location is a good location and staff were friendly but beware, they have ants! I had ants on my bed and all over my stuff. My friend is allergic to ants but she was fortunate not to be bitten. When I mentioned to frint desk staff they seemed surprised but i have seen ant traps set up outside so it must be an ongoing issue.

This is a fair place to stay. It’s clean and convenient, but the noise is not going to allow you to have a great night’s sleep! The in room air conditioning system is old and doesn’t cool the entire room. It’s extremely loud and so it wasn’t very comfortable. The sound the water made when the shower next door turned on woke me up. Overall all don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.

I didn't hear a sound from shared walls, except the maid vacuuming once above me. Would have liked to be able to screen cast from my phone to the tv, and they need to update the beds, at least in my room-otherwise I will be returning to this hotel on my next visit.

It was a large, comfortable room with a full couch, desk, table for two, and bar sink with microwave and dorm-size refrigerator. The bathroom had an inner room with the tub/shower combo and toilet and an outer area with the sink. The staff in the breakfast room was really nice. I have a gluten allergy (and also visited with a psoriasis outbreak which made me look horrible), but the cook always smiled for me, remembered my questions about safe food handling and ingredients, and genuinely seemed to care about keeping me from getting sick. We were visiting family in the area, and I'm super happy to have a local hotel that we can rely on.

Perfectly good hotel for the price, however the air conditioning is old floor mounted units and appear to be made from used Concorde engines. You have to run them or the room is unbearably hot, but then it cycles in and out at full noise then silence all night, even on the lowest setting. Not a heat nights sleep.

Hotel was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great. Bathroom sink faucet ran very slowly. Didn’t like the long black bathroom sink (difficult to rinse out after use). Enjoyed the breakfast and Happy Hours. All of the staff I encountered were pleasant and professional— Honest too. Had my “lost “ purse returned to me by front desk (a member of breakfast staff turned it in) w nothing missing. Kudos!! Would always come back when needed in this area.

Very nice hotel in a great area, restaurants and shops around you. The room was nice and quiet and clean. Love that they have a mini-fridge, microwave and even a little sink in the room at the coffee area. The breakfast in the morning was an added perk as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this hotel was great! The only hiccup was that we wanted to check in a little early and were told there is a $30 charge for that, but it was Labor Day weekend and they were pretty full. The hotel itself is immaculate, spacious, nice hot breakfast with a beautiful outside patio you can sit on, comfortable beds and linens. It is not in Laguna Beach proper but only 12-15 mins away usually depending on traffic. It was totally worth it to not pay Laguna Beach prices. We will definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed at this property many times and really enjoyed every stay. Check in was quick. There were two people at the front desk when I checked in and both very helpful and polite. The rooms are clean, nice pool area and great location. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. It’s conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from downtown Laguna Beach.

Peaceful location, far enough that you don’t have the commotion of the 5 freeway, but close enough to nearby essentials. Walking trails that are away from any nearby traffic were a plus. Only thing that was less than ideal was the time frame breakfast is available 6am-9am (M-F) Not ideal for those who actually want to sleep in, and it gets pretty busy since the time breakfast is available is limited. That aside, the breakfast itself was fantastic plenty of options.

I don't understand all the rave reviews about the free breakfast. We tried the scrambled eggs and the taste and texture were weird. I think they add a bunch of water to the eggs. We tossed the rest of what was on our plates in the trash. The room smelled like a dirty dog, and the hallway outside our room smelled like old packets of ketchup.

Great location with food and grocery stores nearby. The outdoor area near the pool is charming. Relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfast, just too crowded. A continental style breakfast area would do. The omelette station is a nice addition, however the line is too long for what it is. That’s just me, other people seemed to enjoy it.
