The room was extremely warm on arrival, it was appreciated that bottles of water were in the fridge. The bed was comfortable, but the slats kept coming off and we had to be very careful how we moved on the bed. We couldn't sleep due to the constant noise from an outside vent which was at the side of the bathroom window, the bathroom was beautiful, clean, spacious, the shower was powerful. Even though the hotel was above the pub there was not any noise from the pub. The location of the hotel was great and transport was good too. I would recommend this hotel if you're not a light sleeper.

Grubby, tired hallway and stairs made my heart sink as I self checked in. The room was a pleasant surprise. Large and spacious. No shower was a disaster the fact it was adjoining a pub with loud music wasn't the best but the bed was comfortable and I had a pleasant stay.

The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Large compared to other places I’ve stayed for the same price. Tea/coffee setup very nice. I’m older so written info re: heating system would have been helpful.
