Best Western Country Inn Temecula

Positives: Quick check-in, parking is close to your room. Bathroom smelled like bleach. Negatives: small pool with no restroom, rooms are a bit run down, our door had multiple dents on the inside. The worst was one of the beds had crumbs, hair, and lint all over it - all under the covers.

We had 4 knights, all god. The room was big and nice. Staff Dorit is very kind and helpful . The pool area need cleaning, dirty on the ground. Breakfast was good . We come back for the good price .

Great for a general quick stay. I was only in Temecula for 1 night & 1 day. Comfort level was average but they did offer free breakfast. Parking was free & easily accessible.

Dont bother with the pool its literally on the side if the road !! And no privacy from those traveling on the road. Some plexiglass between ... It was clean enough and reasonable enough but i wont be back.

Staff Un-friendly except the room cleaners staff are so nice and helpful ,Clean less property, poor facility (I got locked out my room 3 times because the sun heat affect door key scanner!!!! Breakfast is okay. Pool is clean but the pool area are terrible!!! Free WiFi is a BIG lie. The internet service not working at all!!! Overall it is a poor Inn to stay.

Everything was great. Only issue was parking. Even as a registered guest, parking was not guaranteed on the premises. Luckily was able to park in the unused handicap area after asking the front desk for permission.

Staff carried bags for other guest who needed help with stairs, property could use an elevator to help with these situations. Kind staff and good value with breakfast included. Close to fwy.

Was absolutely a horrible day there was cockroaches in the room. There was a renovations being done moved room three times because how dirty it was in every room.

The room smelled funny! Like someone smoked in the room. Yes I asked for a nonsmoking room. Behind the tv was leftover pizza. and on one of the so called clean towels there was toe nail clippings.

I always look at the cleanliness of the room. And once again, Best Western did not disappoint. The room was very clean.

The one thing I love the most about this location is how clean it is.

The room has numerous stains on the floor, sofa, and pillows, also the coffee maker wasn't clean, and the headboard had some type of liquid spill on it. This hotel should focus more on cleanliness than on making rose decorations out of tissue and toilet paper. Tip, guest don't want your hands all over the tissue they may use on their face

This Best Western property needed seious updating. Our room smelled musty and smelly. The carpet felt sticky, the base and walls had some patchys that needed repair. Bathroom was not clean upon our arrival, the towels had that yellowish color from bleach and the shower head rotated when water turned on, shower faucet was not aligned with the temperature. Housekeeping did better job giving us clean towels and cleaning beds after 1st day, but overall property needs serious upkeep and update.

Tv in room didn’t work no one was there at the front desk to help with problem and there was some kind of knocking noise that kept me awake all night

There was a loud knocking pipe behind the wall which precluded sleep. The check in guy informed me about it, but it was late. And it's very difficult to cancel Expedia reservations once made. All of the other rooms at the hotel had been booked.

The property was very close to Old Town Temecula which was nice and within walking distance of an In N Out Burger, the staff was pleasant. What my wife and I didn't like was the bed, it was terrible. It felt like laying on the floor, it was very uncomfortable. The other thing was the curtains hung over the wall air conditioner blocking the air, we had to put weighted things in front of the curtains to allow the air to circulate around the room. We've always used Best Western when we've traveled in the past but the terrible bed really put a damper on our stay

This is an older hotel that definitely needs room upgrades. You can definitely hear freeway noise and noises coming from outside. One night it was so loud from other hotel guest being loud at 3/4 am. That’s when employees or management should come in and enforce noise and have guest be considerate that others do need to sleep. The area around the hotel is clean, nice and felt safe.

Air conditioning was too loud. Coffee maker didn’t work. We liked it was close to downtown Temecula.

Location was good. But hotel is not “newish”. Noisy at night. Expect that. Staff is nice. Although I got checked in for 1 day. The next day my key wouldn’t open. I stayed 3 nights she set it up for 1 day.

A quick getaway for 1 night. Easy check in. Room was clean and looked nice. Hubby had the breakfast. He said the coffe was really good along with the breakfast. The only not good part was the bed. Its Not comfortable. It was hard. Hubbys back was sore, my hips hurt too.

The shower water did not get hot, the pull out bed covering had stains on it. The windows are dated and don't create and sound barrier. Conversations outside and the freeway noise could be heard inside the room.

Our stay at the Best Western Country Inn, in TEMECULA 😃👍 was Very Wonderful ❣️I WILL "DEFINITELY"!!! stay there again & recommend that hotel to family and friends 😃👍 EVERYTHING from Beginning check-in to End of checkout was So Easy & Fast, but MOST of ALL the Staff members are Simply Wonderful❣️ I can't say enough about All the Staff!!;😃 Philip helped us with Our Check in, He was GREAT!!! The Beautiful Lady Gal, that HELPED Us with checking out was also Great ❣️❣️❣️(I gave her a Rose) to give her THANKS😃 SO SORRY! I don't remember her name.... Anyways! Loved this hotel, it was a great value for the price! Room was very clean and spacious. It had a separate sitting area with a comfortable couch and a comfortable bed. The tv has Netflix, showtime, and direct tv. Lots of options for the free breakfast! Also my daughter accidentally left her tablet down in the lobby without us noticing and one of the nice hotel workers came up to our room to return it. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here overnight. Room was a non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes. I am bothered by the lack of help and empathy from the staff. I checked out today and left a leather jacket in the room. I called back the same day ( less than 12 hours after checking out) asking for that jacket and if they had seen it. the worker was dismissive and didn’t ask for my name or number in case they find this jacket, he just said he’d leave a note. What’s the point of leaving a note and not asking my name and phone number? It almost makes it seem like he either doesn’t want to help or it’s a common practice at this best western to hold forgotten items. The moment I checked out, housekeeping greeted me and we exchanged pleasantries. Either housekeeping didn’t do a thorough job in cleaning the room and my jacket still in Room 233 or they stole my leather jacket instead of reporting it to the lost and found. This jacket was given to me from my late mother and is worth more sentimentally than fiscally. I had to call back this best western and tell the worker to take my name and phone number. I also asked him to check the lost and found for the leather jacket and he immediately said “not from what I can see”. The fact that he didn’t want to get up and look is just appalling. I am hoping I can reach the owners or managers of this building and get an answer to this. How is it that an item left over, reported same day, can not be located? And further, why is it that the workers cant look?

Overall good stay. Clean, good service, decent breakfast and good air conditioning. Beds were a bit hard for my preference. Location is about 1.5 miles out of the old town area, cheap lift ride or a longer walk. Good value compared to other options in the area.

The front desk lady was so professional and friendly - she accommodated us with an early check-in and thanked us warmly at the end of our stay. The hot breakfast was fantastic - eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pastries, bagels, yogurt, and cereal - something for everyone! The hotel was also in the perfect location for the Pechanga Casino and Temecula wine country!

There are a few places to walk to. The staff were friendly. There is a hot breakfast of eggs and sausage.

For the price it’s pretty much what’s expected. The room was clean enough but the water in the shower never gets past warm. Our front door also didn’t seal, you could see daylight through the crack. The AC unit didn’t have any buttons over the controls so you basically just press things blindly until you get the results you want. The high setting on the hair dryer didn’t work. On a bright note though, the breakfast offered was awesome and the location is around everything.

It look like more a Motel. We paid price of a hotel for a motel. Sunday they runner out of coffee.

All of the staff that I had contact with were extremely helpful and friendly, starting with the from desk and the lady in charge of the breakfast set up. Was was there for 3 days, the breakfast was good except it was the exact same thing every day.

Excellent stay. Everything was great. Especially the breakfast.
