The stay was good, friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately, the elevator broke while we were there so it made it interesting to leave with all of our stuff. The water pressure on the 3rd floor was amazing! Best I've had at any hotel.

It was all right the pool they said they had a pool pool was dirty. It was cold. Nobody could go into the hot tub. The water was cold. Couldn’t get in that the breakfast was horrible and the people that they let into the café to eat they were so loud and obnoxious it wasn’t that great.

Room is decent and the location is good (very close to mt shasta ski park). Free breakfast options are good. Pool and spa are not working. Elevator stopped while I am in there and it took a few minutes for someone to open the door. Since staff already knew this problem, they should either repair or put some maintenance notice.

This property is really dirty. The first room I was given was given was atrocious…..so dirty and smelly that I immediately went to the front desk and asked for another one. The young man at the front desk was kind enough to change it and offer a late checkout but the second one was only a little better; at least the smell was tolerable enough that my little one stopped holding her nose. We went to use the pool but it was super run down as well so we didn’t even try. The area around the hotel is pretty being Shasta and conveniently there is gas and a drive thru Starbucks right there so if you don’t mind dirtiness then it’s a convenient and not too expensive place to stay.

Elevator was broken on the day we checked out (May 31, 2025), had to bring our suitcases down from second floor! Could not get ice on both evenings since one machine could not keep up with many guests.

The lobby and staff were good. I do feel like they should always ask if you need one or two keys since there were two of us there. The elevator was quite a bit shaky, the room was very subpar. There was a hair on the bed, the curtains were stained like someone with greasy hands closed them. There was a picture removed from the wall which only exposed how dirty and grimy the walls were. There were dogs barking in the middle of the night, in the hotel. The bathroom amenities were not new but it in old refillable bottles which just seemed a bit icky. The carpet had several weird lumps under it, almost like screws or bolts were underneath it. The bed and pillows were also very uncomfortable. Both my wife and I struggled to get to sleep and woke up with various body pains. The breakfast was very lacking. The waffle maker was dirty and there was no brush to clean it. The eggs were cold and very wet and there were several other areas empty so I’m not sure what was supposed to be there. I do a lot of travel up this way and was hoping to find a good “stop” part way up north, but I will keep looking.

This property gets the job done but it is in bad shape. The sink doesn’t drain, carpet is torn, ants are crawling around the room and there is a water issue with the shower causing standing water on the wall and mold. The walls in the dining area are disgusting.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Mt Shasta area. Our king suite was spacious and we were pleased to have a separate sitting area and sink with counter in the kitchenette area. The hotel could use some maintenance - most of the room doors were dinged up pretty good, our toilet ran and the curtain had a large rip in it. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. We'd stay here again.

We reserved the room because it had a “jetted tub.” The tub was a soaking tub with jets on the bottom, not the sides. We were also very disappointed that the room didn’t have a regular shower, only a handheld shower wand hooked to the bathtub. The room was large, but worn out. The drapes were not blackout curtains, so they let a lot of light in. At least the bed was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

There was an unrepaired ceiling leak in the bathroom where the paint had bubbled badly. Also, both the tub handle and the bathroom sink handle came off during use. Room with the jacuzzi tub has no shower. Continental breakfast was poor. It was clean, staff was great and the suite was pretty large. Id stay there again for sure, but room maintenance could use some love.

We didn't realize that we paid for a suite, what a dream. Lovely room all the way around. Bedroom quiet and wonderful comfy, comfy bed! Separate room for toilet, jetted tub with shower and sink. Separate room for relaxing away from bed for your privacy. Mini fridge, microwave and sink. Couch, coffe table as well as a dining table with chairs

We got a slight upgrade on the room. Some features and things like bed and sheets were newer while the drapes and some cabinets were old and a little rundown. Some areas of the carpet in the living room were sticky, stained, and terrible. The TV was difficult and required set up. We couldn’t figure out how to run the jets in the jacuzzi bathtub. Some things were kind of nice like the tub, but then the shower was terrible. All together so-so to good.

Stay was great, Staff was great. UNFORTUNATELY I left my wallet in the room. Housecleaning found it and after a 5 hour trip home, noticed I missed 2 calls from the hotel informing me that I left my wallet. WAITING NOW 3 days to hear back from the General Manager as he's the only one that can ship my wallet back to me. I realize it's my fault, but now I'm at the mercy of waiting for the GM to show up as he's not often at this location.

Everything about my stay was great, except for the staffs inconsistent adherence to the "breakfast rules". First morning, I got down to the breakfast area 5 minutes late, ok my bad, but all I was asking was to grab one of the yogurts, then the last morning I was there I showed up at 8:50 and the told me breakfast was closed already...seems like a silly thing to be lacking in hospitality.

Check-in was quick & easy, and Preston provided an upgrade to a suite - impressive touch; room was very spacious, clean & comfortable; free breakfast is a full breakfast with lots of nice choices. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again.

Preston at the front desk was really nice & welcoming. The bed was really comfy & room was clean. Food/coffee options within walking distance. No shady characters hanging around the area so we felt safe leaving our car parked in their lot over night. Biggest perk for us was being able to bring our dog & cat into the room & only had to pay $20 a piece. With the hotel being pet friendly there weren’t any smells/stains in the room and the property was clean.

Mt Shasta dominates views in the area. Spectacular! This property is conveniently located near the freeway, but that comes with some road noise. The interchange has fuel stations, minimart, fast food and a grocery store, but you need to go a few miles for restaurants. The room showed some signs of wear and tear, but everything worked fine.

The Comfort Inn is one of the few lodging accommodations in Weed, CA. It is very conveniently located close to Hwy 5. The reception people are very nice and the included breakfast has lots of selections of good quality. Our room was comfortable and just fine for our one night stay. Being so close to the highway, you do hear the traffic noise. Dining options are better in Mt. Shasta, but there is a Starbucks and a McDonalds very close to the hotel.

3 days and never had enough eggs at breakfast. We were late one morning so that was understandable, but last morning went in 45 min before breakfast ended and were told they were out of eggs and gravy. Room was comfortable but torn wallpaper looks shoddy.

This is a value hotel, I went becuase it was one of the most inexpensive on a holiday weekend. We were there for for one night after mtn biking - clean and easy and good price, we weren’t looking for IHG. Skip free breakfast, there is no supervision of the food area, you have no idea what took place before you arrived. I witnessed parents ignoring kids while they took, handled, and then replaced food. multiple times. Multiple families. Grocery outlet, Mexican food, subway nearby, go somewhere else to eat.

Got a free upgraded room from the nice young gentleman at the front desk. The entire staff was extremely friendly. Also the breakfast was the best I ever had at a stop and go hotel. They had: Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, oatmeal, strawberry and original waffle mix, greek and regular yogurt, 2 types of milk, fresh juice, and a bunch more. Definitely will stop here again.

Very comfortable bed. Room was spacious and clean. Nicely quiet. I never heard people in other rooms or the hallway. The breakfast included lots of protein choices, as well as several fruits, muffins, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereals. My husband says the biscuits and gravy were excellent, and he's quite picky. We never tried the pool or hot tub, but the grounds looked clean and well maintained. I'd definitely stay there again.
