Property overall was a good experience. Upon arriving at the old town, choosing where to park to access the cafe and get checked in was a little confusing. This was only due to the way the town is laid out and no clearly marked parking signs etc. Once we checked in, we moved our car from a side street and were directed to park in a 3 car garage just off the Main Street. The car garage was secured with a garage door at night. We were assigned an ‘apartment’ room instead of the typical room on Expedia which I booked. It was about 200m up away from the actual cafe and rest of the hotel. The 200m uphill walk was ok for us (in our 40’s) with all our luggage, but may be a bit of an issue for someone with special health requirements or the elderly. The apartment itself was well equipped with a small kitchenette. It included a small fridge, sink, and 2 burner smooth cooktop. I think this suite is attached to a local multiplex. Walls seemed a little thin as we heard the neighbor heavily coughing in the early hours of the morning. Apartment was nice, just not expected to be detached from the main hotel and cafe. I felt like a local living with neighbors, is all. Breakfast was good. It was comprised of several buns, sliced meats and cheeses, spreads, yogurt, orange juice, and a choice of hot beverage. Staff were friendly when we saw them to check in, go for breakfast and checkout. Location of the cafe is good and it’s near the beginning of the main road.
