The staff was very nice. However, The pool the room came with was never cleaned & attracted mosquitoes. The shower had a view to the street & the door was was clipped with an hook that left a gap anbout ann inch wide where people can see through. People can see me showering from the street. If someone climbed into our room they can easily get in because the bathroom door does not lock & is put in the open. There was no outlet plugs in the restrooms. There was no mirror in the bedroom, TV, or small fridge. The mosquito were unbearable. There was a crack from the bedroom door where they came in from, which led to the pool. Which is where the mosquitoes came from the dirty water. I asked them if they could do something and they provided me with incense in the room. They overcharged for the transportation to the airport. Transportation was only 250 pesos and they charged 800.

We cannot recommend Suuel enough. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The standout for us was the staff, everyone was super friendly, attentive and helpful. It’s in a fantastic location, the beach is one block away, it’s a 15 minute walk to La Punta and Zicatella. The staff are able to help organize transport, they also send a list of recommendations and advise on tours etc. The restaurant is incredible. The best Tuna Tostada I have ever had. Highly recommend dinner here at least once. It’s fairly peaceful, occasionally you can hear dogs barking throughout the night, although that’s to be expected so bring ear plugs. 100/10 experience, only wish had stayed longer.

Es un hotel muy tranquilo donde se puede descansar sin mayor ruido durante las noches. La zona es muy segura, por lo que a pesar de no contar con estacionamiento privado (te puedes estacionar en la calle) no es necesario preocuparse demasiado por la seguridad del automóvil. La comida del restaurante del hotel está deliciosa, tanto en desayuno como comida/cena. El personal del hotel es sumamente amable y están atentos y dispuestos a resolver cualquier situación que se presente, en mi caso, la lámpara del área de la alberca dentro de la habitación no funcionaba y no pudo ser reparada mientras estuve en mi estancia, sin embargo me ofrecieron unas lámparas recargables que me ayudaron a iluminar el área por la noche y terminaron funcionando excelente. En general me parece que es un gran lugar para hospedarse.

La propiedad es increíble, muy buen diseño en las habitaciones, limpio, moderno, muy buena comida y muy buen ambiente en la zona de bar y restaurante. Lo único a considerar es que si eres sensible a la luz, el cuarto superior no tiene black outs solo cortinas delgadas y desde muy temprano entra el sol. A 2 minutos caminando de la playa y muy cerca de la zona de la punta. La cama es súper súper cómoda. También la alberca es muy pequeña pero agradable. En general es una gran opción y sin duda repetiría.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were immediately attended to and offered an arrival drink. Prior to our arrival they asked what time we would be getting in to ensure our room was ready… it was :) The aesthetic is beautiful! — every architectural detail, from the chic minimalist design to the serene plunge pools, creates an effortless blend of luxury and livability. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot… What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. They took service to a whole new level. Every single team member greeted us with warmth, genuine smiles, and flawless attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we could even ask. From the early moments of check-in to our last delicious breakfast, they treated us like we were the only guests there — “over-the-top” in the most chill, Puerto Escondido way possible. Special thanks to Leah for the ice :)

Værelset var fint, men ingen møbler på balkonen. Poolen var meget lille og så ikke ren ud. Besværligt hvis du ikke har en bil, syntes der var langt til der hvor der skete noget

You are sure to be well taken care of at Suuel. My partner and I have been very fortunate to stay here during their first week of soft opening and every moment has been fantastic! We have had three weeks in Oaxaca and this has been our favorite and most comfortable stay. We wish we could move in! The rooms are spacious, with indoor and outdoor space. Extremely comfortable, definitely the best hotel beds we’ve ever slept on and great AC. El staff y el restaurante son muy buenos, las amenidades de los cuarto solo contemplan shampoo, conditioner y jabon, por otro lado, lo peor es que el baño no tiene puerta ni ninguna privacidad, lo que hace muy incomoda la estancia

Hotel Suuel itself is lovely, it's a unique and well-designed hotel with large, spacious rooms. However, several things negatively impacted our stay: - I have a nut allergy and was served a dish with peanuts. When I asked the server whether it had nuts in he said no so I took a bite of the food. I then started to react and asked him to ask the chef who also said no. Finally, another person in the kitchen confirmed that it did contain peanuts. This is really dangerous for a hotel that caters to so many Americans/ Europeans. - The hotel felt unfinished. The rooms have these lovely balconies that are unfurnished so the balconies remain pretty unused. Some better blinds and noise insulation would have also helped sleep quality, particularly when the hotel has an event on. - The hotel also offered to book a transfer for 800 pesos for a 15-20 min journey to the airport. I organised this myself for 150 pesos. Overall for £250 a night, I would not stay again.

The staff was very nice. However, The pool the room came with was never cleaned & attracted mosquitoes. The shower had a view to the street & the door was was clipped with an hook that left a gap anbout ann inch wide where people can see through. People can see me showering from the street. If someone climbed into our room they can easily get in because the bathroom door does not lock & is put in the open. There was no outlet plugs in the restrooms. There was no mirror in the bedroom, TV, or small fridge. The mosquito were unbearable. There was a crack from the bedroom door where they came in from, which led to the pool. Which is where the mosquitoes came from the dirty water. I asked them if they could do something and they provided me with incense in the room. They overcharged for the transportation to the airport. Transportation was only 250 pesos and they charged 800.

We cannot recommend Suuel enough. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The standout for us was the staff, everyone was super friendly, attentive and helpful. It’s in a fantastic location, the beach is one block away, it’s a 15 minute walk to La Punta and Zicatella. The staff are able to help organize transport, they also send a list of recommendations and advise on tours etc. The restaurant is incredible. The best Tuna Tostada I have ever had. Highly recommend dinner here at least once. It’s fairly peaceful, occasionally you can hear dogs barking throughout the night, although that’s to be expected so bring ear plugs. 100/10 experience, only wish had stayed longer.

Es un hotel muy tranquilo donde se puede descansar sin mayor ruido durante las noches. La zona es muy segura, por lo que a pesar de no contar con estacionamiento privado (te puedes estacionar en la calle) no es necesario preocuparse demasiado por la seguridad del automóvil. La comida del restaurante del hotel está deliciosa, tanto en desayuno como comida/cena. El personal del hotel es sumamente amable y están atentos y dispuestos a resolver cualquier situación que se presente, en mi caso, la lámpara del área de la alberca dentro de la habitación no funcionaba y no pudo ser reparada mientras estuve en mi estancia, sin embargo me ofrecieron unas lámparas recargables que me ayudaron a iluminar el área por la noche y terminaron funcionando excelente. En general me parece que es un gran lugar para hospedarse.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were immediately attended to and offered an arrival drink. Prior to our arrival they asked what time we would be getting in to ensure our room was ready… it was :) The aesthetic is beautiful! — every architectural detail, from the chic minimalist design to the serene plunge pools, creates an effortless blend of luxury and livability. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot… What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. They took service to a whole new level. Every single team member greeted us with warmth, genuine smiles, and flawless attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we could even ask. From the early moments of check-in to our last delicious breakfast, they treated us like we were the only guests there — “over-the-top” in the most chill, Puerto Escondido way possible. Special thanks to Leah for the ice :)

La propiedad es increíble, muy buen diseño en las habitaciones, limpio, moderno, muy buena comida y muy buen ambiente en la zona de bar y restaurante. Lo único a considerar es que si eres sensible a la luz, el cuarto superior no tiene black outs solo cortinas delgadas y desde muy temprano entra el sol. A 2 minutos caminando de la playa y muy cerca de la zona de la punta. La cama es súper súper cómoda. También la alberca es muy pequeña pero agradable. En general es una gran opción y sin duda repetiría.

We cannot recommend Suuel enough. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The standout for us was the staff, everyone was super friendly, attentive and helpful. It’s in a fantastic location, the beach is one block away, it’s a 15 minute walk to La Punta and Zicatella. The staff are able to help organize transport, they also send a list of recommendations and advise on tours etc. The restaurant is incredible. The best Tuna Tostada I have ever had. Highly recommend dinner here at least once. It’s fairly peaceful, occasionally you can hear dogs barking throughout the night, although that’s to be expected so bring ear plugs. 100/10 experience, only wish had stayed longer.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were immediately attended to and offered an arrival drink. Prior to our arrival they asked what time we would be getting in to ensure our room was ready… it was :) The aesthetic is beautiful! — every architectural detail, from the chic minimalist design to the serene plunge pools, creates an effortless blend of luxury and livability. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot… What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. They took service to a whole new level. Every single team member greeted us with warmth, genuine smiles, and flawless attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we could even ask. From the early moments of check-in to our last delicious breakfast, they treated us like we were the only guests there — “over-the-top” in the most chill, Puerto Escondido way possible. At Suuel they treated us like they knew us all our life. The food and drink in the restaurant were amazing. Elvira great person and guide us on our whole stay. Will definitely be back here.

Hotel Suuel itself is lovely, it's a unique and well-designed hotel with large, spacious rooms. However, several things negatively impacted our stay: - I have a nut allergy and was served a dish with peanuts. When I asked the server whether it had nuts in he said no so I took a bite of the food. I then started to react and asked him to ask the chef who also said no. Finally, another person in the kitchen confirmed that it did contain peanuts. This is really dangerous for a hotel that caters to so many Americans/ Europeans. - The hotel felt unfinished. The rooms have these lovely balconies that are unfurnished so the balconies remain pretty unused. Some better blinds and noise insulation would have also helped sleep quality, particularly when the hotel has an event on. - The hotel also offered to book a transfer for 800 pesos for a 15-20 min journey to the airport. I organised this myself for 150 pesos. Overall for £250 a night, I would not stay again.

Excellent room size, modest sized pool (shared) was right outside of our room and easy to use or lounge next to. Included breakfast was really fantastic. Drinking water easily available from water dispenser in the lobby (very convenient!), and they'd offer ice which was a nice touch when heading out and carrying cold water in my water bottle. Staff was accommodating after I was arriving late due to my own transportation issues, and after forgetting something in my room after checkout. No doubt I would stay here again. Note: I'm from the USA, so it took some adjustment to the bathroom and shower walls being open at the top rather than being entire walls, but other accommodations in Oaxaca had similar setups with exposed bathrooms or no doors to the main living area, so this might be more common than I realize. There were some small, harmless ants along parts of the floor, which didn't get into my belongings, given the climate and environment this isn't a surprise. The light by the bathroom mirror isn't super bright, but that wasn't an issue since I don't rely heavily on mirrors when getting ready. The location brings walkable access to the beach and is a short taxi ride to many attractions nearby, but the local towns are not immediately outside of this hotel, which I prefer because I like a quiet room and I wouldn't want to visit just one part of town anyway, as there is lots to explore. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

The room is very spacious and comfy. If you opt in for included breakfast you will be surprised. So far, the one of the best included breakfasts overall. The personal is very helpful and always open to make your stay more enjoyable.

El personal super buena atención y son muy amables, en todo momento se portaron excelente, el hotel es chico pero cómodo y esta muy bien ubicado, te puedes ir caminando a restaurantes y a la playa. Lo único por lo que no le doy las 5 estrellas es por el ruido en la madrugada, se oye todo lo que pasa en la calle y hay un gallo que canta todos los dias a las 5 am, las persianas en el cuarto no son black out entonces si buscas un lugar donde dormir excelente por la noche este no es un lugar para ti pero en todo lo demás esta perfecto.
