Very nice hotel in a good location to both Inner Stadt and Mariahilfe. The indoor pool is great. The breakfast is also very good and the staff very helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed for one evening. The room was really nice. I was impressed with the gym (bigger than most hotels), and it also had the pool and hot tub. Oddly enough, the gym attendant had no clue how to turn on the hot tub jets. The breakfast buffet was also really good, to include an omelette station.

Very nice hotel with an excelent location and walking distance to the Opera and all majour monuments. Good service and nice bar. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed due to techical problems that was one of the reasons we booked this hotel.

Très bien situé, prèsde tout dans la vieille ville tout en etant très calme àla fois. Personnel accueillant. Chambre prête en avance. Très belle grande chambre, superbe salle de bain avec bain et douche séparés. Piscine, sauna, spa et gym très biens. Très belle expérience, on y retournerait sans hésitation !

Easy check in, staff were always kind and happy to assist in any way possible. Rooms comfortable and clean - and the view was stunning! We really enjoyed the extra gym amenities and found it helpful after a long day walking and exploring the city!

Great hotel in the centre of Vienna just a couple of minutes walking distance away from the Opera, main shopping area and other atractions like the Hofburg. Very nice restaurant and bar with a lot of food and drink options. The spa is ok including an indoor pool and jackuzzy but the water temperature of the pool was to cold.

While reception was welcoming and housekeeping did a great job, our overall comfort was significantly disturbed. The air conditioning did not work properly, and when we called, staff promised to bring us two fans. After waiting an hour with no response, we had to follow up, and only then did someone ring our doorbell at 11 p.m. — nearly waking our baby — to deliver just a single small desk fan. I even emailed the front desk requesting a room change to one with working AC, but instead of accommodating that, engineering insisted the AC was “within standards,” left a note, and unlocked the windows while leaving the AC running at the same time. Not only is this inefficient, but it also made the room humid, noisy from the outside, and allowed mosquitoes to come in, disturbing rest even further. It felt like a box-checking exercise rather than a real solution. Despite disclosing we were traveling with a baby, the bed provided was basically a single bed, unsafe for an infant who could easily roll and fall. We requested two extra pillows through the Marriott app to help protect the baby and because one of the adults had to sleep on the cot provided — yet only one pillow was delivered. On top of that, the in-room ironing board was dirty and unusable, the bathroom sink drain was clogged with hair from prior guests, and there was visible black mold in the bathroom. For a hotel marketed as 5-star, we expected a restful and accommodating stay, but instead faced unnecessary stress.

Good location, centre point for all attractions/markets (10-15mins walk away from everything). Quiet rooms, receptions and catering staff all very polite and helpful. The wifi was good and we experienced no issues connecting. Great bathroom facilities, spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower. Good gym and spa facilities, but adults only. Main let downs, were around room and hallways cleaning. We Opted for the room to be cleaned every other day when asked. The room was never vacuumed and wooden floors within the room were scuffed and dirty on arrival. The bed sheets were never changed during our stay, which is not a big issue, but considering we spent an average of £300 per night (room only), it should have been an option, when we were asked about room cleaning. Room cleaning meant only towels were changed and surfaces were wiped down, floors were not vacuumed. All floors in rooms and hallways need to be vacuumed and polished more regularly. All electricals in the room need an upgrade, the iron, ironing board, hair dryer, TV and TV services especially all need upgrading. There are no USB charging ports in the room. The QR code in regards to services, needs to moved to be in a more prominent place. Most annoying thing are the bathroom glass walls, between the bedroom and bathroom. Little to no privacy while using the bathroom/toilet. Not sure why anyone ever thought glass walls for bathrooms were a good idea.

Horrible and dirty hotel. I couldn’t believe this is a 5 star hotel. The hallway carpets had stains all over them and the room smelled like sewage. Terrible experience. Would absolutely not recommend.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I travel a lot and try to give constructive feedback. Positives - great location, staff are friendly and helpful, good breakfast, spacious and quiet rooms. Cons - I’m a Miss / Dr - they registered me as Mr despite having my booking and passport. I expect attention to detail and not the stereotypical ‘Mr’ assumption. I asked for shower caps multiple times - ticked the room card that specified I wanted one and hand gave it to my housekeeping - I got a vanity pack with cotton buds instead. Then asked at the desk and got one for the next day. I asked for a shower cap for my Mother on the next day - I got shampoo instead. Therefore only got a shower cap once, despite asking 4 times across 3 nights stay. On the 3 nights we stayed, my room was not hoovered once - I cleaned the hair off my bathroom floor myself everyday. I also got bitten across my arms and neck on the second night and kept waking up every time I was bitten so I had a terrible night - I have 8 itchy bites to show for it, and showed the staff. The reception team notified house keeping who were going to fumigate the room in case of mosquitoes - problem solved, but the reception team were not very bothered - I would offer a client a new room or something in compensation but nothing was said or offered. Therefore overall not up to par for the stars or cost of stay, sadly.

In einem 5Sterne-Hotel erwarte ich keine klemmenden Türen, ungeheizte Badezimmer und schwarzen Schimmel in den Fugen. Allerdings wurde der schlechte Eindruck teilweise durch den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service kompensiert.

Bathroom was really dingy....lots of dark stains and hard water stains around the shower, and water kept flowing into the rest of bathroom. The shower/bathroom was poorly designed with floor pitching away from the shower, and there is no lip/edge to prevent water from just flowing out of the shower into the rest of the bathroom. I Asked Front desk to at least fix or change out the shower head so I could stand a little further away to reduce this "flooding" of the bathroom. After a whole day out, I came back to see really nothing was done, even though front desk lady said "it was fixed", and I asked if anyone actually even entered the room, and she said she didn't know!! How do u "fix a shower" without entering the room? I know tech is progressing fast, but so far(thankfully) there are no e-showers just yet that can get a wifi update! LOL! I flatly asked the lady if they just tell people whatever to make them go away, and she said no blah blah...I said thanks for your time and left it at that. After the 2 days, I came back to find a new shower head! So, clearly the 1st "it's all fixed" response on day1 was not correct. It's insulting to my intelligence if Le Meridien staff think I will NOT know the difference! We kept having to mop up the water after every shower and dry the tower and repeat at next shower use. Property shows its age. Usually, outside the US, Marriott hotels are absolutely awesome...this one, with the dingy bathroom, is NOT.

The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting all parts of the city using underground and trams. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bedroom was particularly spacious and well equipped with coffee machine and kettle. Bathroom very clean with a super shower and roll-top bath. Great place.

Excellent expérience at check in and nice interactions with the staff throughout our stay. The rooms are in need of a refresh, this is not a 5 star hotel. Comfortable bed nonetheless. Good bar area away from the crowds. Walkable location to all the sights.

El hotel todo muy bien, salvo la vista de mi cuarto, reserve un cuarto con vista a la ciudad y mi cuarto tenía una ventana alta con vista a la ciudad, no se veía nada bien, la ventana ni siquiera era de la mitad de la pared para arriba. Ese tipo de cuartos no los pueden considerar como cuarto con vista a la ciudad, tienes que estar parado y asomarte para ver algo, sentado en la cama o en cualquier silla del cuarto, lo único que vez es la pared con una ventana arriba.

El hotel todo muy bien, salvo la vista de mi cuarto, reserve un cuarto con vista a la ciudad y mi cuarto tenía una ventana alta con vista a la ciudad, no se veía nada bien, la ventana ni siquiera era de la mitad de la pared para arriba. I read about noisy Ac on other reviews and it seemed it was a hit or a miss. I contacted the hotel 3 days prior to my arrival and requested a room with no issues. They claimed they never received my message. Sure enough very noisy Ac in my room (653). The breakfast is sub par. Location is very central but for $850 for 2 nights, I was not pleased and will not return to this property in the future.

Nice hotel, helpful staff. I didn't like the layout of the room though. The toilet was a few feet from the head of the bed. The bathroom wall was translucent glass so others in the room can see and hear what's going on.

Things were generally good but I paid for a room with queen bed and view. Instead got two twin beds and 1/2 view. And I was there on time, actually early. I was too tired to ask for another room when I arrived, but regretted not demanding the queen bed as the single bed was quite uncomfortable.

The location is great. The staff were very friendly. The room was not as described and not as it looked in the picture. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t working. It was during a heat wave in vienna. We asked for it to be fixed and they claim it was fixed and that air conditioning in vienna is not that great because it’s often not used. After two days we just gave up and sucked it up. Won’t stay there again

Great location to stay for visiting museums and attending concerts. The room we got was different than the photos because instead of full windows it had transom windows up high, which means the room had no view out the windows at all. We paid 500 Euros per night for one of the upgraded room options; would have expected more. The 7th floor rooms should be a separate booking option at a lower price. A few little things broken in the room. Lots of space in the 500 square foot corner unit, but the room is not layed out well so there arent good places to put your things, and the bathroom is sort of tucked past a mini hallway. There is plenty of room for furniture and better organization but they went for gimmicky glass and weird furniture instead. I hated the huge heavy glass bathroom door....which often goes *booooonggggg* as it releases from its catch and startles whoever is sleeping. I could hear booongggs from adjacent rooms throughout our stay. Also some weird buzzing noises coming from the walls every 2.5 minutes of the whole stay (my wife was annoyed enough that she timed it). They focus on being pretentious-fancy with prosecco at check-in and cute blue lighting in the elevators, etc.... instead of actually making it a great hotel. We liked the large bathtub and shower, and the bed was comfortable.

Check in took an eternity (despite the fact that we provided all passport details etc by email on their request ahead of time). The rooms were assigned, but not ready (that's ok cause we were a little ahead of check in time). But then an hour AFTER our check in time - it still took a while to make us keys (why??). We had a toddler, a stroller, lots of heavy luggage, we were exhausted after a long trip - they saw it. And they put us in the furthest rooms on the floor far from each other with multiple flights of stairs between our rooms. Worst thing - they didn't even tell us that there were stairs between rooms on one floor (we would have left suitcases in a storage room)! No help at all (how many stars does this hotel have?)! We needed a blanket - I had to come down to reception to ask for it 3 times (about every hour)! Every time I was told "you'll get it straight away" from different receptionists - the blanket never happened! All looks good and new. But shampoo dispenser didn't work (discovered after hair was wet) and lamps in the room made sudden loud clicking noises and ruined our night. Water pressure in the bathroom was very poor. - All of that is really frustrating, but all is understood and excused IF stuff at the hotel care and at least try to help. They don't give a sh*t and won't do anything for you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Méridien Vienna. The location is amazing — everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and the place felt really clean and well-kept. What made things even easier was the Marriott Bonvoy app; I just texted them whenever we needed something, and they took care of it right away. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location near the Opera and everything. Very friendly staff and everyone is doing a wonderful job. Is the third time that we stayed at the hotel, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The only thing we did not like was the lack of a concierge. We were told the concierge would come only once a week. We know Vienna and our way around, but it would have been helpful to have the concierge assist us with arranging some trips and recommend a few good Viennese restaurants. However, we completely understand that is extremely difficult to find and hire capable and experienced people under the present circumstances, because the same problem exists in the United States.

Beautiful space. Not beautiful in the ornate sense but contemporary, clean and visually appealing. This is what I expected from other Le Meriden properties I’ve visited. Absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The front staff were very helpful and accommodating of requests. The location was minutes walking from the opera house, the Hofburg, and the train to get to Schonbrunn. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The Bonvoy app’s digital key was great to use for the elevator and room door. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting all parts of the city using underground and trams. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bedroom was particularly spacious and well equipped with coffee machine and kettle. Bathroom very clean with a super shower and roll-top bath. Great place.

Stayed for one evening. The room was really nice. I was impressed with the gym (bigger than most hotels), and it also had the pool and hot tub. Oddly enough, the gym attendant had no clue how to turn on the hot tub jets. The breakfast buffet was also really good, to include an omelette station.

What an amazing hotel! Everything in this hotel is superb: the hotel is very modern and nicely designed. The rooms are spacious. The bathroom and shower is large, and the shower itself is extremely good. Staff is very nice and helpful when needed. And breakfast – wow, what a breakfast: great diversity of food, and the greatest thing is the high quality. Everything -- from the scrambled eggs, the juices, the fresh fruits, the muesli and even the yoghurts – is SO good. Quantity is very good, and I don't think I've ever had one of better quality than this one in any 4/5 stars hotel I've been to. The dining area is also spacious and comfortable, with staff cleaning tables and assisting. And last but not least, the location- it's just fantastic. Walking distance probably to any attraction Vienna has to offer (except Schonbrunn palace of course). Museumquarter, Hofburg and Sisi Museum, and the Opera, are all 3-5 minutes walk. Close to subway and tram stations, walking distance to anything in the old city, Stadtpark and all the music concert locations, and even to the Maria Hilfer shopping area. Overall, this hotel is a superb choice for visiting Vienna.

Le Méridien Vienna is located within striking distance of all major sites. It has easy access to the tram network and the subway making travel easy. The hotel staff was excellent. Always friendly and helpful. The hotel was kept clean and there was no noise from other travelers. There are no language barriers for English speakers as all personnel is able to communicate in English. Because of its location just outside the "main drag" foot traffic was low which is important during the summer months when millions (more) of people visit the city. My wife and I appreciated the availability of the ground level coffee (you bar) bar but did not use the restaurant. This stay was our first stay at this hotel. We initially chose it because of its location, the proximity to in-town travel, for easy walking without having to rent a car, the availability of nearby restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores and the availability of air conditioning. Vienna had an unusually hot summer this year. Despite the availability of air conditioning in our room, it was a bit sticky at night which was due to the unfortunate placement of the air condition vents (cold air not blowing toward the bed). This architectural issue, of course, will not keep us from choosing this hotel again. Thank you, Le Méridien staff, for making out stay pleasant and for the excellent service you provided.

Overpriced for the kind of "mid to upper" tier. Everything kind of basic standard, nothing special at all. Not very helpfull check in/out, which also should include some kind of "concierge services". Plus for the very nice bar staff!
