Oaks Glenelg Liberty Suites

The only thing I didn’t like was that the spa was not operational, and despite it saying that it was heated, the water in the pool was cold

Enjoyed everything about the stay. The staff and room. Location perfect and parking underground is so easy to access even in bigger cars. Only mention of a slight less half a star is the lounge and chairs in the dining probably well worn. Did not impact our stay or our 5/5 rating. Most certain to stay again

Friendly welcome, spacious room with fully contained kitchen. Great balcony, nice to be able to get fresh air. Very quiet. Used the pool, spa, sauna and gym excellent facilities.

The furniture and amenities are outdated. The pool wasn’t open, and hadn’t been open for some time, but no email to say so - I would have booked somewhere else if I had known. The drawers in one of the bedrooms completely fell apart as soon as I tried to put clothes in it and some blinds didn’t go up or down. Sofas were so used the stuffing was coming out. I reported all this on the first day to reception and nothing happened. Disappointing.

Brilliant location and lovely views. Secure parking. Staff very helpful. So many restaurants in short walking distance. Would be happy to stay again.

Location was great. Parking was a lottery as there wasn't a lot of spaces available. Air con didn't.

The room had a nice warm welcoming and the view was excellent. The pool, sauna and spa all where clean and enjoyable to use. Car parking is available Staff where friendly and helpful

Just had a wonderful 7 day stay at Oaks Liberty Suites. Very quiet, really close to restaurants and bars. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment- we will be returning!!

Room looked like it has had a recent minor upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Nice quiet room at the front of the building, comfortable bed and very clean.

Convenient hotel close to food, shops and Glenelg beach. Rooms are a little dated. Bathrooms had some mould and and carpets were dirty. Room had lots of amenities and were spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The whole apartment needed a thorough, clean mould in the bathrooms. The showerhead wasn’t working properly. I reported it when I left the whole place had not had a proper clean it smelt damp and musky. There was holes in the screen doors. The remote batteries were dead on the TVs both TVs. Luckily I had some of my own and I took them out when I left. I’ve stayed at Oaks before in different places around Australia and this was the worst one

Room is not in a good Condition. There were stains on the carpet, the walls needed painting and some of the furniture didn't work. Staff was helpful and polite

Oaks Liberty Towers is situated in Glenelg, a suburb of Adelaide about 20 minutes from the airport. We love the location; it’s close to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The tram at Moseley Square takes you into the Adelaide CBD. Our assigned room was part of a pool of residences in the Central Tower. Upon entering the room, I attempted to open the cupboard above the microwave and I had to grab it to keep it from falling on me. The lights on the balcony were burnt out. This was reported to the front desk the following morning, and it appears that the cupboard door was on the maintenance list. Both deficiencies were corrected within a couple of hours. The suite was generally clean, except for some black mold on the shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, except for the fact that there was no frying pan, which we were able to obtain from the front desk. There were two potato mashers, but no scissors. Apparently none of the units have them. It would be safer opening packages with scissors rather than a knife. The room had a great view over the marina and you can see the Adelaide Hills in the distance. The problem was, the streets below seemed to be very popular for people with loud vehicles, including motorcycles, who were screaming around until 2 AM, one night, The racket made it very difficult to enjoy the balcony. It was our second stay in this hotel, but next year when we return to Adelaide, we are unlikely to stay here again.

Location is excellent. View is great. Wifi was just adequate. Parking convenient. Bed was firm which I liked. Cleanliness abysmal (bring the disinfectant wipes).

Receptionist wasn’t able to offer much information when asked l was charged parking but told that money wasn’t taken out due to not having to pay l checked account and $25 was taken for 1 night bit confused. Very expensive for what was offered cleaning was very minimal if at all

Our 2 bedroom was spacious, well equipped and had a fantastic view from the 11th floor over the ocean.

The room was spacious clean and tidy Friendly Staff Unfortunately nearby was an outdoor weekend event Extremely loud music all afternoon and late into the evening which made our stay extremely unpleasant Certainly not worth the money we paid It would have been nice to have been informed of this local event prior to booking Regards Michael Vella

This is a fabulous place to stay! Its modern and spacious facilities, together with location, location, location, made this a perfect ending to our Adelaide stay! Our apartment had an amazing view of the beach and the park below. It was such a picturesque area, yet quiet and low key. At night we walked to the marina for dinner. It felt incredibly safe and there were lots of families around as well, enjoying the cool summer night. This place had everything you could possibly need! The apartment even had a coffee machine which was the icing on the cake for us!!!! Glenelg is a great place for a break. Everything is at your fingertips. And Oaks was the best way to enjoy it! A BIG thank you to the staff who work there and put their efforts into ensuring everything runs superbly!!! I’ll definitely be going back!

The property was in a great location. Easy access to the beach and kids activities on the beach front. The staff were friendly and efficient. The accomodation itself whilst very spacious was outdated and had a strange musty smell. It was a rather loud location, especially at night with many cars driving and revving their engines up and down the main road.

This place is in a great spot really convenient for our needs when in Adelaide. This was our third stay which shows we are happy with Oaks. The staff are always friendly and very keen to be of assistance.

Had requested higher floor and secured a car park for our 2 night staycation in a 2 x bedroom apartment. We were delighted to receive an upgrade to Ocean View for our stay. Very comfortable and nice views from the balcony and living areas/ kitchen. The reception team were friendly, accommodating and efficient. Would stay here again .Was a nice break.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating for any of my needs!! Great location. The lifts were a little annoying but nothing that would stop me staying again. Thank you everyone at the hotel. Awesome service.

A comfortable location well positioned to shops, amenities and entertainment. Furnishings were a little dated as was the décor. We would come back and recommend.

A comfotable, clean and quiet apartment with all the necessities. We enjoyed amazing views towards the city and hills from our 11th floor unit. Transport ( including tram into the city), restaurants, shops and beach were just 5 mins walk away. We couldn't have wished for more in beautiful Glenelg. Would certainly stay in this unit again on our next visit. Highly recommend.

Great location, but can be noisy from circling/passing traffic on weekends. Intend returning next time we visit Adelaide.

This place is a gem … one block from the beach and everything is close by with a lot of options to est, drink, shopping. Also very beautiful area. It is not in down town but there is a tram station few block away. The apartment look brand new with all the amenities you need including washer and dryer machines. I love it !
