From the warmest of greeting when we arrived until checkout we were made to feel really welcome at this hotel. We loved its uniqueness and the afternoon tea/coffee and cake was a delightful touch. Breakfast with fresh waffles was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful - they are wonderful.

Kom til hotellet og skulle være der i tre dager. Ble møtt av en helt fantastisk resepsjonist.Kaffe, te, kakao alltid tilgjengelig. Kake kl.14.00 hver dag. Frokosten var nydelig.Dette er Gøteborg eldste hotell men så fint og koselig. Beliggenheten er tikke noe og si på. 5 min frsentralstasjonen.Anbefaler dette hotellet. Første gangen vi var der ,men det blir ikke siste ganen for vår del.😀

The hotel is run very efficiently and the standard of service and cleanliness is impeccable. All the staff made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast is very good and the team do a fantastic job providing tourist information. Staff were so friendly enjoyed talking to them all. John Eric was so knowledgeable about the area we were staying.

Wunderschönes, privat betriebenes Hotel im Zentrum Göteborgs. Das Personal war sehr nett, die Zimmer geschmackvoll & gemütlich eingerichtet, Betten bequem. Hotel und Zimmer wurden modernisiert und sind sehr sauber. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen! Trotz der zentralen Lage, ist es ruhig. Parkhaus direkt gegenüber. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten 2 tolle Tage in der Stadt und kommen bestimmt wieder! Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Veldig koselig hotel. Rent, nydelig frokost og hyggelig personalet. Rommet med enkelseng er lite, men hyggelig. Det var noe klikkelyd der, sikkert fra aircondition anlegget, men det gikk bra. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake ❤️

Rummet var väldigt bra både ljudmässigt och renlighet och funktion. Det enda som jag upplevde var negativt var att trycket i duschen var förhållandevis lågt och gick inte att öka. Min kollega som borde i ett rum intillhade högre tryck i sin dusch.

Jag fick ett litet rum som var så långt bort man kunde komma i korridorerna. Utsikt rätt in i en husvägg. Osmidigt med fysisk nyckel istället för kort. Det tog extremt lång tid att få varmvatten i duschen. Få kanaler i TV:n. Kaffet var inte speciellt gott. Men personalen var vänlig och tillmötesgående, sängen mycket bekväm och hotellets läge oslagbart.

L'hotel Royal è un hotel storico di Goteborg. Ho soggiornato in una stanza singola e, nonostante fosse di piccole dimensioni, l'ho trovata ben pensata. Nella stanza c'era un armadio piccolino (da 4/5 capi), un asse e ferro da stiro, scrivania, comodino, poltroncina e poggia valigia. Mi è piaciuta molto la cura nell'arredo della stanza e, guardando online, ho visto che ogni stanza è diversa. Il bagno è molto piccolo, ma essendo da soli si può far andare bene. La stanza era molto pulita. La colazione è sufficientemente varia con possibilità di scegliere tra yogurt, latte e cereali, formaggi e salumi, uova strapazzate, frutta e fare i propri waffle. L'ultimo giorno sono dovuta andare via prima dell'inizio della colazione e lo staff mi ha preparato una colazione a sacco. L'ho apprezzato molto. La posizione è ottima, si può visitare benissimo tutto il centro a piedi e nelle vicinanze ci sono anche diverse fermate metro per raggiungere al meglio i luoghi più lontani. Nel pomeriggio mettono a disposizione un piccolo angolo con bevande e torta gratuita per gli ospiti. Ogni volta che si esce bisogna lasciare la chiave alla reception.

Trevlig personal, alltid med ett leende. Läget är bra, nära till både shopping, restauranger och kultur. Vissa rum är löjligt små men det vägs upp av det mysiga hotellet. Vi kommer ofta tillbaka.

Bra personal, extremt bra läge. Dock lyhört mellan rummen och jag skulle upp tidigt för att åka med tåget. Blev dåligt med sömn när grannen duschade kl 23.

Ypperlig for en natt i Gøteborg, ligger midt i sentrum. God service, god seng og helt fin frokost. AC som faktisk fungerte, så ikke for varmt om natten, sov veldig godt her. PS: Fikk et rom i første etasje, med utsikt til søppel beholderene i bakgården. Ikke det mest romantiske akkurat, men ellers ok rom.

Staff made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Although the room is pretty small, the hotel is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and staff were uniformly great. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again if I could. Andreas at the front desk was particularly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent property with the staff giving a personal touch to everything. Victor at the reception is too good and you will be friends with him in 5 mins. T The staff is super helpful and efficient. All the places to see are within walking distance and Victor will show you how to get there. Train Station and bus terminal is walking distance. Breakfast is superb and well laid out. That have free coffee and cake throughout the day and the cake is super delicious Overall the best place to stay

Hotel with tons of charm very centrally located in Gothenburg. About 20 min walk from Haga, 5 minutes from the Central Train Station, near the shopping centre Nordstan. The hotel is Gothenburg's oldest, the staff is fantastic and the breakfast is wonderful. I don't see any point in staying anywhere else during my future Gothenburg trips. The decoration for Christmas is very beautiful.

Hotel with tons of charm very centrally located in Gothenburg. About 20 min walk from Haga, 5 minutes from the Central Train Station, near the shopping centre Nordstan. The hotel is Gothenburg's oldest, the staff is fantastic and the breakfast is wonderful. I don't see any point in staying anywhere else during my future Gothenburg trips. The decoration for Christmas is very beautiful.

Staff were all very friendly. We liked "Fika" a Swedish tradition which means ...a break from activity during which people drink coffee, eat cakes or other light snacks, and relax with others. So the hotel offer 24 houraccess to coffee/ tea machine along with a small piece of cake in the afternoon/ evening. Breakfast was delicious.

Kom til hotellet og skulle være der i tre dager. Ble møtt av en helt fantastisk resepsjonist.Kaffe, te, kakao alltid tilgjengelig. Kake kl.14.00 hver dag. Frokosten var nydelig.Dette er Gøteborg eldste hotell men så fint og koselig. Beliggenheten er tikke noe og si på. 5 min frsentralstasjonen.Anbefaler dette hotellet. Classic, 'old skool' independent hotel. Unpretentious but dignified. Fantastic breakfast buffet with fresh waffles! Tea and coffee and daily cake for guests in the lobby. Would certainly recommend. Close to the station. A lot of building/road works going on but that seems to be the case for all of Gothenburg.

Charmigt äldre hotell där man bevarat det gamla vid renoveringar. Nära till shopping, restauranger och sevärdheter. Trevlig hjälpsam personal. Jag älskar hotellfrukostar, även om denna frukosten var liten så hade den allt jag gillar och kronan på verket ett våffeljärn att göra sin egen våffla.

For such a heritage building, the hotel was remarkably comfortable! AC was great and the room was comfortable and cool for sleeping. The breakfast was ample. Location was great and staff was friendly.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. The location is great. Walkable to restaurants, boat tours and shopping. The bathroom has been updated and the A/C worked great which was nice on a warm day. Our room was small but it worked out fine. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of variety.

the single room was cosy but small. The fan made a terrible noise, so I had to turn it off during the night. the bathroom must have been recently renovated and was spotless.
