The facilities and restaurant is really great. The grounds are beautiful. The room is very basic but clean and it's great to have complimentary guest laundry on site. Its very kid friendly and nice and close to the river. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. My family had a nice stay.

THE BEST!! I loved my stay here. The girls at reception were just the friendliest and made my dog and I feel very welcome. There was extra fun things availables ; steam room, pool, push bike and SUP hire. The whole place is so fun and gorgeous. Great grounds to walk around with my dog. I was going to have their venues breakfast in the morning with my dog on the deck but it had been raining so the lovely lady at reception sat me at a table right next to the door and got a towel for dog to sit on! The girls were great to ask about local places and things to do. The FREE guest laundry was another favourite of mine as someone who travels alot. Plenty of parking options which was good for me since I was in my work truck. I can't wait to stay here again!!

Well situated and layout great a bonus was a very quiet fridge and very little road noise. I missed the biscuits, spa and steam room out of order, but the gardens are beautiful. Will stay again next time I’m travelling.

We liked the fact a staff member called us and asked our ETA and helped explain where we could park our Ute and trailer. This made the whole process a lot easier. Great place for dogs, clean and well stocked.

Room smelt of cigarette smoke - obviously the room had smokers in it the previous night - had to ask the cleaner to clean the air conditioner filters as we couldn’t get the smell out of the room. Body wash-container emptied the first shower - had to use our own soap. Staff friendly

Very clean place and tidy ,staff were very friendly and helpful but I wish the fridge in the room kept our things colder and had a freezer and the room didn't have a smoke detector I noticed and a safe to keep valuables safe so I got a bit paranoid about keeping any valuable in but other wise what a nice place to stay

the room seemed big with the tall walls and high ceiling - spacey and white. i liked the balcony area that looked onto a lake with lotus flowers in bloom (in the afternoon). we were given an early check in - Justeena called and sent a text while we bided our time at the nearby shopping centre. i enjoyed our stay there in general.

Room big, comfortable, airy. Kitchenette area a bit pokey. Need a couple of bowls, spoons added so you can have option of eating own breakfast. Great as per friendly. Only stayed the one night but very happy with the room.

The Cubana Resort is located in a peaceful and quiet location in Nambucca Heads and is walking distance to the river and the beach. The room and facilities were great, but I had a small concern with the room that was allocated to me. However, it was quickly resolved by the Manager who was very nice to me and welcoming. She also made my stay as comfortable as possible and made me want to stay there again. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food and drinks on offer were great too. Would highly recommend this place, which is great value for money.

Cubana was a great stay and we opted to eat at their restaurant as we arrived fairly late. Restaurant large warm and comfortable and food great. I had market fish of the day and wife and daughter went for vego options. All good and tasty.

Dining area was closed due to no chef available until further notice. But all good, going to see around the neighbourhood found Matilda’s cafe great for dining outdoor with pets.

Amazing stay and great service from all staff! The room was comfortable, very clean and the view was lovely, of the gardens and the lake, so peaceful. The food at the bar is amazing too - the full restaurant is opening soon which will probably have great food too! The bed was really comfortable and they also had Netflix which was handy! The area is beautiful - such great beaches and views. 10/10

Comfortable stay in a large, clean and quiet room. We had some small plate food in the restaurant which was very nice. Only negative is that you need to drive to main restaurants or clubs.

This was a return visit on the trek home from Sydney to Gold Coast. It was a random pick last time but we returned this visit and allowed more time to relax in the spa and by the pool. Perfect location for weary travellers.

A good option for overnight accom for drive between Brisbane and Sydney. Comfortable bed and quiet location but bathroom facilities need an upgrade. Good value for the price.

Booked at the last minute and stayed one night. Friendly and helpful staff. Although a limited menu for dinner it was nice and pets were allowed in the outdoor area. It was cold but glad it didn't rain as I would have got wet. Room was clean and they also provided a bowl and sheet so you could place over the couch if your fury friend wanted to sit next to you. Thank you

Very disappointing. The “60’s vibe” is because the property looks like it has not been upgraded since then! Terrible bathroom & kitchen. Property details deceptive with no photos of the bathroom showing how dated and poor it was. Only positive is that sheets were clean, though the bathroom was not. Would never go back.
