Unfortunately the property is on different levels, with carrying of luggage etc up & down stairs required to our room. I am recovering from a recent operation, with no heavy lifting allowed......so the good wife had a lot of work to do. Perhaps this should be mentioned when booking is being made. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant.

Great clean rooms. We had a water view room which was amazing. Only down fall is the parking, not many on site. Need to park in Woolies or at the park which is some walking distance away.

The rooms are clean and recently renovated however there are no windows and the sliding door entrance has no insect or security screening so you must run the AC almost all the time. The car park and access to your room are not adjacent so unloading and loading is a little difficult. the views from the rooms are amazing and convenient restaurants etc are all withing walking distance

This is an older complex that has been stylishly renovated. The view from the property across the river out to the ocean is beautiful. Rooms are on different levels and some are accessible via stairs only. There is a great undercover outdoor common area where there is a full size fridge & cooking facilities. Pool area is very nice & shares the same view out to sea.

We loved the common area where you can cook and prepare a meal or just sit and have a drink and admire the view. Also, the pool was great and the recycle bins were a bonus. Robyn and the staff were friendly, and the rooms were spotless.

The property had been renovated and had very comfy bed. The pool area was lovely and a great view of the ocean. The shower doesn’t have a door so the entire bathroom floor was wet when you had a shower. The floors in our room hadn’t been washed and were very sticky, so had to call reception to come and mop the floors. The room was a bit noisy as walls are quite thin. Unfortunately we were woken up just after getting to sleep by a bunch of teenagers who came running up the steps pounding on all doors.

The check in experience was good, but that’s where it ended. We were allocated Room 15, and were unable to stay in the room due to an overwhelming smell of damp, and left. We notified the hotel and heard back from them on the following days, noting they have never had an issue, yet we also found other reviews highlighting damp in the same room. Therefore was dissapointing this hadn’t been resolved.

Great location, nicely fitted out room. It is a renovated motel, so the Balcony is the walkway across the rooms, noise comes in from adjoining rooms through connecting door (even when locked) and upstairs movement sounds like a heard of elephants thumping above you. As long as you are prepared for this (as the upstairs will eventually stop moving and sleep) , the location is an easy walk down to local waterside cafes and bars etc.

Loved this hotel/motel. Rooms are clean, modern and functional, very simple with a designer edge. Bathrooms are great and well thought out. Only negative would be the reading lights , bedside lamps, which are bascially not functional

This motel is definitely one category up compared to normal motels. Very modern furniture including usb charging sockets, a balcony with a great view of the bay, a „kitchen“ counter with an actual sink to wash your dishes in (rather than in the bathroom) and a foodstore right across the street. We had a very pleasant stay, this was the best motel of several we stayed in during our trip.

Our room was a bit small, especially since it was an accessible room (we were given this room, not requested), so there was almost no space to store our suitcase. And I would suggest they do some maintenance updates, like new mixer tap cartridges, and definitely new door locks. Ours was fiddly to lock which questioned its level of security. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay, the staff were super friendly, and we had amazing views. Thanks

We had booked by information available on the internet. We had been allocated a room down several flights of stairs but when we were being shown where our room was our hostess noticed my wife was having some difficulty and discomfort negotiating the stairs (artificial hips). She quickly and kindly offered us a ground floor room as an alternative, which happened to be right alongside where our car was parked at reception. The room was fitted out for a wheelchair guest, which we did not require, but would be ideal for anyone with major mobility issues. The Beach Rooms are very close to the RSL Club which is where we had planned to have dinner and also near the Nambucca Boatshed and Cafe where we had breakfast the following morning. It was an overnight stay on a road trip but wished we had more time to explore Nambucca.

It was our first visit to Nambucca Heads and we absolutely loved our stay at the Beach Rooms. Check in was easy and we were escorted to our room which was a nice touch. Room was clean and beautifully appointed, recently renovated, a lot of thought has gone into each room and common area on the property. We had direct access to a common area from our room where there were lounges and tables to relax and take in the beautiful view. This was perfect for us because our room wasn’t big (but quite adequate for us as a couple). We used the pool a couple of times to cool down. It’s a short walk up the street to ‘town’, or down the hill to the river and beach. There are a few really nice eateries and cafes - Nambucca is batting above average in this regard. And Woolies just across the road. All in all, a great stay, and we hope to return. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The terse email saying my booking would be cancelled one day prior caused undue stress to my holiday. Expedia said my final payment was due the day of the booking - the hotel didn’t know their own terms with Expedia. This, coupled with the fact I tried to call to rectify the situation and was told on the voicemail not to leave a message as they don’t bother to respond just did not seem customer focused at all. The property is great and the area is great but the email and subsequent phone call put a bad taste in my mouth about what should have been a great experience.

Good renovated facilities. Reception decided close early at 4pm instead of 6.30pm and left us a message to call back at 3.15pm. We arrived at 5pm and the number displayed was not answering. Luckily another late checkin came and had a different number and passed on the phone to me and I managed to get the code for my keys box. Good renovated facilities. Reception decided close early at 4pm instead of 6.30pm and left us a message to call back at 3.15pm. We arrived at 5pm and the number displayed was not answering. Luckily another late checkin came and had a different number and passed on the phone to me and I managed to get the code for my keys box. Great location, nicely fitted out room. It is a renovated motel, so the Balcony is the walkway across the rooms, noise comes in from adjoining rooms through connecting door (even when locked) and upstairs movement sounds like a heard of elephants thumping above you. As long as you are prepared for this (as the upstairs will eventually stop moving and sleep) , the location is an easy walk down to local waterside cafes and bars etc.

View from the family room 1 on top floor was very nice. Beds comfy. But be aware that the motel is on a busy road so there was some noise from passing traffic. Walk down to the beach to the V-Wall for meal etc - or take the car as it is a climb back up the hill

What a great find! Modern comfortable room with a very comfy bed. The pool looks great but was too cold for a swim. Easy walk to supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Don't count on any restaurants being open after 8 on a Weds.

Nice accommodation in a convenient location - Woolworths just across the road, and multiple food venues within a short walk. . Lovely views from our apartment (not all rooms have views). But if you don’t like stairs, make sure you book in person (not online) so you can make sure you are in one of the few rooms that don’t have multiple sets of stairs to get from the carpark to the room.

We only stayed for a couple of days but enjoyed both the room and the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and with a beautiful view over Nambucca Heads. There were some enjoyable walking paths nearby and in the evenings there was wining and dining within easy walking distance. Both the RSL and quite a good Indian restaurant were only a 2 minute walk away.

We only stayed for a couple of days but enjoyed both the room and the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and with a beautiful view over Nambucca Heads. There were some enjoyable walking paths nearby and in the evenings there was wining and dining within easy walking distance. Both the RSL and quite a good Indian restaurant were only a 2 minute walk away.

Rummet var helt i vår smak och med balkong för att kunna njuta av både frukost och njuta en stund på kvällen. Pool fanns också. Motelet ligger centralt och nära livsmedelbutik och ejbså långt till V-wall. Bra personal!

Great spot right on the water… amazing views. This has clearly undergone a refurb which is really well done. The only negative is, the outside carpark, literally on the street, no couch in the room, and I could smell smoke (must have been from a previous guest). The kitchenette is lovely and has everything you need including a microwave oven. There’s a lovely playground for the kids within a two minute walk. Shops, bottle shop and woollies a quick walk away, this is a great location and super clean.

What an awesome hotel. The rooms are good. Comfortable bed. Some plugs with usb chargers. Nice shampoo. Even had decent coffee satchets. Woolworths accross the road and RSL club 100mtrs down the road. Did the walk out on the V wall. Would of been nice to have stayed longer. Front desk staff were most helpful too.
