Ήταν μια εξαιρετική διαμονή σε ένα μικρό αλλά πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Πήγαμε με αυτοκίνητο και φτάσαμε πολύ εύκολα όπου παρακάραμε στο διπλανό οικόπεδο που μάλλον χρησιμεύει για αυτό το σκοπό για το ξενοδοχείο. Τα δωμάτια ήταν καθαρά, το πρωινό επαρκές με όλες τις βασικές παροχές ενός πρωινού και το ίντερνετ χωρίς προβλήματα. Εντός ακτίνας 150-200 μέτρων υπάρχουν σταθμοί Μετρό, Τράμ και Λεωφορείων ενώ στα 5 το πολύ λεπτά είναι με τα πόδια ο Κεντρικός Σταθμός των Τρένων και τον λεωφορείων. Τέλος το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατο και πρόθυμο να εξυπηρετήσει.

The staff is terrific. Breakfast is good although there is no variety, (I stayed 5 nights). There are trams at a 1 minute walk. The train and bus stations are 5-7 minutes on foot. The property is quiet. The elevator is fast. I'd recommend.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the station and other transports and was very pleasantly surprised with all the other bonuses. It is a great small hotel with good breakfast and absolutely superb service. Staff is just fantastic. Also, if you are going to tours or hiring a car is one of the very few hotels in the city that has a car park. I highly recommend this hotel.

Awful. Walked into a bathroom with a condom in trash can. The hotel is extremely small and feels claustrophobic. Showered leaking, dirty toilet with poop. The floor smelled like smoke and we reserved a none smoking room.

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, aber in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs und der entsprechenden Metro. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Auch das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend. Würde ich wieder buchen. Kleines Manko war das dritte Bett. Ich hatte für 3 Erwachsene gebucht. Er gab ein normales Doppelbett und einen ausgeklappten Sessel. Das würde ich nicht als vollwertiges Bett bezeichnen. Für die paar Tage ging es, aber das wäre definitiv verbesserungswürdig.

This is a very convenient hotel in close proximity of the central railway station so easy to get around! Rooms were nice and warm which was perfect in cold jan weather! Comfy bed, fridge in the room and good bathroom facilities

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. By mistake, my friend made a reservation for me through Expedia from October 6–9, 2025, and I also made my own reservation through Hotels.com for the same dates.When I checked in, the receptionist told me there were two reservations under my name. Since I didn’t know my friend had also booked a room for me, I said I only had one reservation. The staff didn’t explain further, and my receipt didn’t show anything unusual, so I assumed it was a simple mistake.On the day of checkout, the same receptionist said I hadn’t paid. I showed my Hotels.com confirmation showing that my stay was prepaid, but she insisted that the hotel hadn’t received payment and made us pay again. After returning home, I contacted Hotels.com and discovered that my friend’s booking through Expedia caused the confusion.If the receptionist had clearly explained on the first day that there were two separate reservations under my name, I could have canceled one right away for the next two nights and avoided losing €107.98(total I paid €161.99 for 3 nights)Because of the hotel’s poor communication and lack of transparency, I ended up paying for nights I didn’t use.This is not an honest or professional way to do business, and it has seriously damaged my trust in this hotel.

Overall a pleasant stay with a few things that could be improved. The hotel is clean and in a very convenient location with easy access to various public transport, which made getting around hassle-free. The restaurant staff were consistently attentive and helpful, and one of the receptionists — a young woman from Plovdiv — was especially kind and welcoming (I regret not catching her name). However, some details detracted from the experience. There were no "Do Not Disturb" or "No Cleaning Needed" signs in the room, which led to housekeeping entering and throwing away an empty water bottle that i intended to use. In the bathroom, there was no soap dispenser in the shower — only shampoo — so you have to step out mid-shower to use the soap by the sink. No toiletries were provided, which was unexpected. My biggest issue was the mosquitoes. I appreciated the well-ventilated room with an open window, but this led to mosquito bites and a sleepless night chasing them around at 2 a.m., eventually resorting to using repellent. Management should consider installing window screens or installing plug in mosquito/insect repellents in the rooms. Despite these drawbacks, the location and staff made the stay okay. With a few small improvements, this hotel could offer a truly excellent experience.

Arrived by train doing a long train experience holiday. Close to train station so very handy, though lots of drunks in train station - not hotels fault obv! Wanted breakfast - which was ready 15 mins earlier as our train was at before breakfast time was due. Arranged with reception staff to go in earlier but met with a NO NO NO in dining room so left hungry ! All did not fail we bought sandwiches from lovely little bakery type shops in train station which were yummy.

I stayed here on two separate nights on either end of a 5 day trip to Varna. I chose the BW as it is right next to the train station. It is perfect for anyone looking to stay close to the trains. The airport is only a 25 min ride away on the subway. There are dining options and grocery stores close by. One weird thing happened when i stayed though, and this was why i gave 3 stars. When i arrived, i went right to bed as i had been traveling for about 15 hours. I was awoken to a staff member entering my room to fix a light. No warning, no time to put clothes on.... just came in. I was so tired i just let do his thing, but any other person may have been very disturbed by this. I could have been in the shower, or otherwise indisposed. Anyways, other than that, the stay was good.

The best feature of this property is the staff. We especially commend Nicolay who helped us with side trip arrangements and worked to answer any questions about food, transportation, etc. however all staff members did their best to help us out. The property is not in the center of town. We used public transport, which is cheap and well-run. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Stayed here for 5 days and I couldn't be happier. The staff were all very friendly, the room was clean and neat. The heat worked well, ample lights, coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was very good too. The location is right near Sofia Central Station, so it's very convenient. It's just a short walk or ride to the center of the city. The staff were all really helpful, courteous, and friendly. WiFi was great the whole time I was there. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Sofia.

It is an excellent hotel. Worth the value very much and with very helpful and nice front desk staff Deni,Martin and also service staff. Room was comfortable and soundproof. Yes we are next to the trams and close to the train stations but no sound was heard. The breakfast was really good and with plenty of variety! I was expecting something average and my experience surpassed our expectations. Thank you!😊

I come here fairly regularly for one or two nights and I usually have a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff are cheerful, welcoming and efficient. There's a good breakfast too, included in the room rate. The hotel is very conveniently located for the main train station, long distance bus station and metro.

This is a convenient hotel for the train and coach stations, but not for the city centre, and the nearby metro station is reached via an unpleasant underpass. The dining options nearby are extremely limited. The property itself is in fairly good condition, but the amenities offered are minimal. Overall it would make a decent enough Three Star hotel. Being described as Four Star is a surprise. Maybe by the time this review is published they will have cleaned the outsides of the bedroom windows - but that clearly hasn't happened for some time!

Wonderful service at front desk - I advised I had an early train and they organized a bagged breakfast for me as I was leaving before the breakfast room was open. The location is just meters from the train station which is good but the area around the train station could use upgrades. No fault of the hotel.

Room was very nice, comfortable bed, staff where very polite and always helpful, Breakfast was very enjoyable and plenty of variety. There is a tram stop just outside the front door, railway station, metro and bus station a matter of minutes walk away from hotel. The area around the hotel is very rundown. There is a supermarket at the end of the railway station which has a large choice, including cooked chicken, sausages and even burgers. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the centre of sofia. All in all the stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and great value for money.

I was misled by the higher rating on Expedia. My room wasn’t clean properly lots of dirt on carpet and need to improve the breakfast quality and choices. The caffe machine didn’t work during the breakfast. Probably not back in the future!

Very old building and our room has not cleaned enough, spider web on the code of the electric kettle and tappet was stained from the beginning and dusty, I got allergy from the tappet or else(not sure what it is), but not the level of having asthma, and shower pressure&temperature were good at least and we could stay with our doggy daughter only with 5€ so it was OK stay. Most disappointed thing was that there was NO VEGAN MILK despite letting them know I AM A VEGAN at the booking! Normally Best Western in other country did vegan arrange so I was not worry so maybe I should write "please prepare vegan milk for sure".... I'm not a breakfast person anyway but vegan capuccino, so only thing missed was this. Receptionist for check in was a very nice young lady and not bad for check out, so total 3star for my experience🌱
