I had an electronic conversation just after I booked, upgrading my room from a window-less room to a double with a window. When I arrived this information had not been passed to the hotel. I was moved to a single room with a nice window with a tiny balcony for no extra cost, which was good but not what I’d expected. I was checked into this room then had issues with the door lock code (4 digit code instead of keys), when I first checked in there were no towels in the room so had to phone and get that sorted. Overall a very disappointing start. Breakfast in the attached restaurant- I didn’t have the continental, but I did enjoy the yoghurt and granola dish, there was lots of lovely tasty fruit and the yoghurt was nice and thick, but the following day the eggs Benedict was very disappointing with “snotty” slightly undercooked eggs and tasteless hollandaise sauce. The staff were friendly enough but the location wasn’t great for being a tourist. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

Staff were excellent, but for the presedential suite the room itself was quite small. The hot tub water was cold 2 out of 3 of the days, but speaking with staff it was fixed for the final night & was lovely & warm. The walls are quite thin so you can hear people moving around in the hallway or entering rooms. The location is good. Good facillties in the room including fridge, hair dryer, iron & ironing board.

A really nice find. Clean, modern and stylish in a good location to explore from. Seems to be popular for business travellers and tourists alike. Parking isn’t so easy in side streets and requires driving around a bit. The associated Bistro serves excellent food but can get busy at weekends.

Staff were friendly & polite. The hotel room was compact but clean & comfortable but the balcony windows were not double glazed and the road outside was very busy & noisy. The room was very close to other rooms also so was quite noisy at times. The breakfast was very limited and on one morning the restaurant was full with only one member of staff working. We had high hopes for this hotel but left feeling quite disappointed with it compared to what we thought it was going to be. The price we paid was reasonable but based on the photos & reviews our expectations were higher.
