Great place to stay to visit Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple. It's right in the center of the action of Heritage Street right near the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue and Jallianwalla Bagh Park. The soundproofing is excellent to get a good night's sleep, because Heritage St is extremely busy all day and almost all night. The room wasn't super clean and had exposed wiring in the bathroom, but for the price, it was fine. We had great hot water. The staff is excellent and listened to our requests and concerns. Keep in mind - it's located on a barricaded area for pedestrian traffic only, so taxis can only drop you off near the barricade so you'll have to walk a few yards to get to the hotel. Inside the lobby, there are 3-4 steps without a railing to get to the elevator/lift - which was tough for senior citizen grandmother.
