The staff were friendly and helpful, hence the 2 stars. That's one good point, the other was the close proximity of a rail station for access to Rome and the airport. That's where the good points end. The hotel in the main lobby was in good condition as was the restaurant, the rooms were dated and worn. They could do with a full refurb. The air conditioning also did not work, made it difficult to sleep in the evenings. Leaving windows open helped, however there was a lot of noise from the nearby highway. The pool was decent, however out of operation - mentioned as out of season; the main point of booking with children was the use of the pool, disappointed as this was not mentioned at the time of booking - or I would have booked elsewhere. The breakfast was ok, not the best - eggs, sausages, bacon etc were Luke warm; the evening restaurant was ok, however due to there not being many alternatives nearby - it was over priced. We went out, so the cuisine was a lot better. Hotel has a paid shuttle service to and from the airport, which is convenient.
