It is good for the price range. Well located. It was clean, my room had a kitchenette, it is walking distance to the beach and a lot of restaurants. I felt safe walking alone. There was parking and a lot of taxis in the area.

Property is no frills, clean, friendly and helpful staff, 10-15 min walking distance to several restaurants, 5 min walking distance to grocery (which was expensive!), 10-15 min walking distance to local buses. At the time of my stay, there was heavy construction going on and loud noises due to jack-hammering, sawing, etc. during the entire morning. Wifi was ok for the most part, but dodgy on a few occassions.

So to be completely honest, when I booked this, I didn’t realise that I was booking an apartment rather than a hotel. It was basic but clean and had sufficient facilities. A little kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and 2 ring hob. The location is good with many eating places within walking distance and a little supermarket close by. If you need a taxi, I would suggest getting front desk to book it for you, you can get one off the street, but they tend to try to fleece you.

Love the location, affordability, friendly managment and staff, ease & flexibility of checking in and out. Comfortable Lounge equipped with bathroom; luggage storage. The kitchen could have done with a couple more plates, cups and saucers. Otherwise, we enjoyed the air-conditioned apartment, comfortable beds, clean kitchen. Thanks again.

It was as expected for a budget rental, quiet and cleaned daily. I would recommend only if you really really want to go to Barbados and is on a shoe string budget. Me personally it is not for me, also I didn’t like there was an ant (tiny ants) infestation.

The room was very clean and housekeeping visited everyday. There were places to eat within easy walking distance. All appliances and amenties work. It is a safe and hospitable inn and I highly recommend it to independent travellers.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the maid service was exceptional. They were always friendly and made sure the room stayed spotless each day. The staff in general were polite and helpful, and the kitchen area had all the basics needed for simple meals. I also liked that there were shops and restaurants nearby, which made it convenient. The only real issue was the shower, which stayed cold most of the time. Management explained that the water heater is located on the first floor and takes a while to reach the third floor. If that issue gets fixed, I would definitely stay here again.

Do Not Go Here. My booking was non-refundable (with no mention on Expedia), and they do not respond to communication. Our flight was changed to a later flight with only one hour to get there and get checked in. I used their "Contact Us" email from their website three times. No answer. I had to call them, to set up transportation from the airport. It didn't show. I called them from the airport, and they said that they would check into it, and call me back. No call back. In desperation, I took the last taxi available from the airport. Check in ends at 12:00, but they don't say what to do if you arrive late. Once there, there is supposed to be a phone by some window where you can call someone to tell you where your key is. They could have told me this. There were two 1-1/2" cockroaches in our room upon arrival, but the bug spray that makes them run was set out on the counter.

This hotel is well-located and clean, with air conditioning and a balcony. The airconditioning and ceiling fan were noisy and kept my wife from sleeping at night if they were turned on. The hinges on the cabinets were very noisy. A serious problem is that the staff leaves the premises by 5pm so visitors arriving after that cannot get their keys. It's not clear that incoming visitors MUST contact the hotel in advance to arrange for transportation and for someone to give them the keys to their unit, and I found it difficult to contact the hotel by phone and email to make these arrangements in advance. They did not answer emails quickly or even within 24 hours.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. I was glad there was an electric kettle so I could make a cup of coffee. There were also plates and cutlery. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I was very satisfied. And I loved that the room had air conditioning. It was great. I just think that there should be a clock in the room to ensure that I have the correct time and the TV has an issue. Watching programmes was not easy because some channels lost sound and although the picture was clear, it kept blinking. The screen would go black every couple of minutes. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and if I ever come back to Barbados the Meridian Inn would be my first choice of a place to stay.

Really easy check in process. Quiet hotel, but very easy to get to places by foot so fantastic location. Cleaners came in every day to change towels and fix sheets, really helpful. The only thing that could've been a bit better was the AC - it was very hot in the room and the AC didn't go below 16.

The shower didn’t have much pressure. The air conditioner was great. Had coffee maker but no coffee. Bed was a bit hard. Very clean room and staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Barbados.

This is a good value for money property, but my most favorite thing was how kind, helpful, and professional every staff member I came into contact with was. They were so accommodating, and I felt right at home for the 2 nights I ended up staying there. What i liked about this property was it was easy to walk to get a taxi,food,beach.the host was very accomodating and pleasant.We had a late flight and we got to check out late in the afternoon which was very much appreciated.

This was a great little location to go if you're either A) going to explore the island or B) staying for one night before going to your resort. We got in at 11pm, which we told the staff the day before travel and they had a key waiting for us even though they weren't there, they were super friendly when we used there phone to contact them. We left early morning to stay at Sandals which was less than a 2 minute walk.

This is a good value for money property, but my most favorite thing was how kind, helpful, and professional every staff member I came into contact with was. They were so accommodating, and I felt right at home for the 2 nights I ended up staying there. It is also located in a vibrant South Coast area near a beach, St. Lawrence Gap and many places to get food nearby.

Very nice beaches walkable from property - including Dover Beach. Quiet end of ‘the Gap’. Walking distance to restaurant choices. Little super market around the corner for some self catering. Easy going staff. About 10 minute walk to main road for buses - or parking on site if you rent a car.

My flight was late so I arrived at the inn after the lobby was closed. There was a phone there to call and the lady who answered directed me to an envelope with my key and instructions. She was very helpful and pleasant even though it was very late. She told us which was to walk for a late night meal. The inn is a short walk to a nice public beach and to a grocery store and several resturants. The only noise was a rooster in the area somewhere.

Clean, close to the beach , shops , restaurants and bars. Staff are friendly and polite . Housekeepers visited daily to clean and change bedding and provide fresh clean towels . This is good if you are on a limited budget , it’s basic but has everything you need in the room .

This was my second time here, this is the perfect accommodation if your plan is to be out and about to explore the island and all it has to offer. They thought of everything in terms of pots pans, utensils etc if you would like to prepare your own food.

Hotel a little bit old but we had a big room and a nice balcony, comfortable bed, AC and ceiling fan. Nice little kitchenette with microwave, hotplates, crockery and full size fridge. Reception were helpful with all our questions and money exchange. Special thanks to Michelle who was very helpful!
