The location is great. However, the pool was not available for 5 days during our one week stay. The pool turned green. It was gross and very disappointing. We chose the hotel based on a few factors and the pool was high in priority. Would not stay there again!

The Hilton was a very clean hotel, both the rooms and the property. Easily accessible by public transit from the airport. The rooms were modern and clean. Make sure to get the buffet breakfast plan included as food is quite expensive. Monday to Thursday is pretty quiet, but Friday and the weekend is when things really pick up. the hotel hot tubs were closed for some reason. Activities rarely ran. Hotel beach was ok, but the beach across the street was amazing, safe, and had great food options.

Very nice grounds. Wonderful staff. Loved the gym. It would be nice if the jacuzzi was warmer. Suggest getting a vending machine, needed a snack after 11 and everything is closed.

Enjoyed our stay here but the hot tub wasn’t working nor was one of the pools. Only 2 out of the 4 elevators worked the week we were there. However only minor inconveniences we enjoyed our time and the staff was very friendly! The beds were comfy and our room had a beautiful ocean side view with patio.

Nice location; good pool and beach area. The hot tub was unavailable the entire time due to maintenance. The hotel common areas and room were in good condition, but the shower needs to be updated. The showerhead aims at the wall, and couldn't be adjusted. The food and drink service was very slow, but not uncommon for the Caribbean.

Located on a lovely beach with clear blue/green sea. The Hilton is dated and could do with renovating. The hotel was overbooked and staff struggled to cope with the demand. My room was not ready and I was left waiting which is not great after a long flight. Gym facilities are good but get busy first thing in the morning.

Staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful people everywhere. Truely aome of the nicest people anywhere. Unfortunately the property itself seems a bit dated. Of the four elevators that service ~600 rooms, two were broken the entire time we were there and forced us to take the stairs all week instead of waiting forever for an elevator. Additionally, the hot tub in the pool area was out of service all week and didnt seem to even have anybody trying to fix it. It just feels like some updating is needed.

Once all the charges were added the room ended up at 500 euros a night which it really was not worth! The room was a good size but the duvet that was on the bed had no cover and was just between two sheets. The cleaning was poor as dirty glasses were left in the room and coffee stains were missed on bed side tables. The pool area was not well serviced although there were a lot of staff around. Litter and dirty glasses. The area was not well lite at night round the bar and the walk ways to the pool were very dark. They had singers and musicians playing in the dark! There was a strong smell of a certain type of smoke round the pool at all times of day! Overall a poor quality for the price!!

Rooms are dated and need thorough cleaning, carpet smelled so bad, shower had soap scum and mold. The bathroom is falling apart, towel railings loose. Carpet in the hallways is filthy. Staff are very friendly and location of hotel is nice and central. Views from the room were beautiful.

Pillows super flat. Depends on who your housekeeper is in regards to cleanliness. One did actual mop our floor which is great because we get sand everywhere so this should be a given.

The facility isn’t the newest, but it was very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly. People worked hard to remember our names and how long we were staying. They greeted you by name and were always smiling. We made lifelong friends at the Hilton.

Hilton built this property in 2005 and forgot it. While the walls look semi-freshly painted, not much reinvestment has occurred. The doors leading into the hallways are barely held together. Stains on almost all the carpets. Room service trays remain in the hallways for days at a time. Pools are pretty disgusting. Paint chipped off everywhere and in desperate need of a good pressure wash. Staff in all the restaurants and service areas are hit or miss. Some are great while others have completely forgotten that tourists are their entire livelihood.

The staff were great! The room was subpar and just a very basic. The AC was rattling and caused condensation at one point. The sheets were stained and not changed regularly. The bed was hard, pillows way too soft. Bathroom was very basic, tub didn’t look very clean. Food was ok, a bit pricey but just basic. The pool was murky. The beach was the best part of the resort.

The hotel has a great location, nice beaches, pools, and layout. The service is friendly but a bit clueless. We were told conflicting stories about the restaurants, etc. Line for breakfast - to be seated - but then there were plenty of tables for the fairly average and kind of disgusting buffet. Bathroom robe hook had been broken off, sheets had little stains on them, but the maids were pleasant. So it’s a mixed bag.

I stay at Hilton every where I travel because of their consistency but this location truly missed the mark. Check-in was easy with a bit of a wait because it seemed everyone came at once but that's not on the hotel, they did their best. The beach was beautiful and maintained. The rooms were a nice size and clean. The con was the connected rooms. We were always able to hear our neighbors at all times of the day and night. Not sure if they were loud or the door was just that thin. The room lacked robes which I found odd for Hilton. The service was mediocre and extremely slow! I have never experienced anything like it out of the places I have traveled. The food was not so great either! I don't mind paying for good food but the restaurants and bars just was not it. We attended the nightly entertainment a couple of times and it was enjoyable. The hotel is a short drive from places but a much longer walk. The highlight of the staff was housekeeping! They were always friendly! I will not be back to this hotel or Barbados.

This hotel is on a perfect location to watch the sunset from UNESCO fort that is within the hotel property. The hotel staff was very nice and allowed us early check in and late check out! The pools are incredible! Hotel in it self was amazing but only problem was that the rooms seem to be outdated and in need of some renovation, at least for a 4 star hotel. And it was quite cold in rooms, the AC wasn’t working properly. We did get extra blankets. We enjoyed our stay and food at the hotel bar and restaurant was very good.

Beautiful location at the beach. This is a huge Hilton, surrounded by beach. My room had a beautiful bay view and a balcony. Food was good but very expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice pool and pool bar/restaurant. Best location to stay in Barbados.

The check in was superb, quick and hassle free and we were allowed to check in earlier. Our room was a lovely double height top floor one; comfy and clean. I was a little disappointed with the overall look of the hotel, it felt dated and flat packed in the communal areas. The pool area was too noisy to enjoy, overall it was an ok experience; but I couldn’t have done a whole holiday at this place.

I am very disappointed in this hotel. Understaffed, checkout too early (11) and checkin too late (4 pm ) ….probably to keep from hiring more staff. It makes connections difficult. Front desk personnel not very pleasant or accommodating. Room was fine: bell services good. Breakfast spotty…hot foods ok but inadequate cold items. Its location is excellent and convenient.

I stayed at the Hilton Barbados from May 14 to 18, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. One of the standout highlights of my trip was the exceptional service provided by Bellboy Makhaya. Not only did he assist us promptly and professionally with our luggage, but he also went above and beyond by sharing great suggestions on things to do both at the hotel and around the island. His friendly attitude and helpful advice truly made our stay more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning views, clean and comfortable rooms, and great amenities. But it’s the people like Makhaya who really made a difference. Thank you for helping make our trip to Barbados so memorable!

My stay at the Hilton was just okay. The resort is clean, but definitely dated and in need of an upgrade. The biggest issue was the lack of hospitality from some of the front desk staff. When I checked in on Friday, I had to wait until 6:00 PM for my room to be ready due to a late check-out from a previous guest. I was part of a group of seven, and because of the delay, I had to get ready in someone else’s room. They offered a complimentary Rum Punch, but I had to complain in order to get a different drink — not ideal. On June 17th around 4:40 PM, the front desk staff were very rude and unwelcoming — not what you’d expect from a Hilton property. In contrast, the receptionist who checked me out on June 18th was kind and professional, which I appreciated. I asked for a late check-out to make up for the late check-in and inconvenience, but it wasn’t accommodated. Some staff were friendly, but overall, the customer service was inconsistent, and that alone would keep me from returning to this property. I hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience.

Check in was very late, room not ready, would go out early in the day and come back at 6:00 room still wasn’t clean. Called front desk to tell him as there was a strong smell of marijuana and he didn’t do anything about it. Had a migraine from the smell. Toilet was clogged and we called for help. No one came. The next day we found the maintenance man on our own and he said no one had told him. No one seemed very helpful or concerned.

Hallways were sometimes noisy and could be heard late at night from our room. More options for bigger beds. Staff very nice and helpful. Wasn’t able to get checked in until after 7 even though we arrived at 4.

I loved the location -- it was within walking distance of other restaurants. We were always able to get chairs and umbrellas on the beach, without having to get up early in the morning to save them. The water was beautiful. It was our third time in Barbados and our favorite hotel so far. We liked getting breakfast to go at the cafe -- better than the buffet, which was expensive and had too many scavenging birds. The beach and pool were quiet during the day, which I appreciated. Would book here again.

Hilton Barbados is located close to some main attractions and beautiful beaches. The property is clean and has adequate amenities. As we were there on a very busy weekend there was a bit of a line/wait time for breakfast but the staff was always very attentive and ensured things moved as smoothly as possible.

Lovely private uncrowded beach. Even in highseason Feb we could always get 3 seats on the beach. Lovely ,white sandy beach. Helpful friendly staff. Good location, close to Bridgetown for restaurants... but in the evening a taxi is really needed about $13 US . Came here for my honeymoon and it was everything we wanted. Walking distance to multiple beaches and beach bars/restaurants, pharmacy, convenience store etc. We had no bad interactions with the staff, they were all very friendly and welcome and even gave ideas for things to do on the island. The beach cove and pool were great for lounging between the two. Highly recommend staying here!

It’s all about location! Beautiful beaches all around. Cocktail program is very good (especially if you’re into rum). Food is good although they’re going through a bit of restaurant transition. Staff is great. The hotel itself is looking a little worn, but our room was spacious and the view was fantastic.

We were somewhat disappointed by this Hotel. It was not up to Hilton standards, needs some upgrades. It’s looking dated. Because the restaurant only got 2.5star, we ate out at many delicious restaurants. We ended up paying a hefty feefor the “brunch”. It was horrible. I don’t know how they can mess up breakfast but it was limited and 1 hr before it ended they stopped bringing out food. It wasn’t even real OJ in the mimosa! I honestly think we could have had the same experience at a Holiday Inn. The main reason we won’t be back is because the beach isn’t great, it had that “all inclusive” feel, with ppl waking up to put towels on chairs. We will be back to Barbados again next year and stay in a villa again. We were late booking so Hilton seemed like a good option. I’d rather be in a self sustaining Villa.
