The place is not modern but it’s clean and well kept. The staff came daily knocked on the door to see if I needed housekeeping. From the time I got into the lobby I was welcomed. Beautiful front desk staff and restaurant staff. Area is great the beach is across the street but the hotel pool should be a must do. I will definitely stay again my next visit to Barbados and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a space for vacation or work stay.

Overall, the property is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. It would have been courteous to have the AC already, especially given the fact I had to walk up 55 flights of stairs. Things to be aware of: No elevators. I was placed on the 4th floor and had to carry my belongings up. Thank goodness I'm young with no barriers to exercising. Although the beach is across the street, it has an excessive amount of seaweed right on the beach and waterfront. Some people managed to still go in the water. Plenty of buses and taxis are right in front of the hotel if you are an adventurous person and don't mind heading out on your own. The continental breakfast is very plain with no protein (hard-boiled eggs). They serve breakfast there for a pretty expensive price. You're better off walking a short distance to Quayside Center. If you don't want fast food like Chefette, KFC, etc, check out Afrobeats by Shaz restaurant for some delicious food with a great variety. If you take a left outside the main entrance of hotel, it's about a 13-16 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk.

The very friendly personal and the perfect beach just across the road and everything you need is just a short walk away. The property is not a five star hotel but is very clean and good maintained. Pool and garden is nice. They serve continental breakfast which is fine.

We had one of the kitchenette suites.. I'm not sure if they also have smaller or bigger rooms. Our suite was great, had great appliances and cookware and utensils. It would be easy to stay there for a week. The property was across the street from the Caribbean and a nice sandy beach.

The property was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very efficient. I am 65 and was on the 3rd floor. There is no lift. A little inconvenient but there were staff to help me with my luggage initially and when i was leaving. It was not a major problem but if you have mobility issues I would suggest letting them know beforehand.

We were thoroughly impressed with this hotel. There is a really relaxed atmosphere around the pool, and the staff are fabulous; helpful and friendly. The beach across the road is big, not too busy and with beautiful clear water and white sand. The hotel really is excellent value.

Blue Horizon is conveniently located close to the many beautiful beaches, groceries & airport. It's peaceful & quiet environment suited my wife & I, who recently retired. Very friendly & helpful hotel staff with a rigid & efficient room cleaning cycle. I will certainly recommend Blue Horizon hotel to my family & friends.

Room was cleaned every day and was spotless. However, we did have to call to have our bath towels refreshed as the maid had failed to on two occasions. Noise from the early morning gardening staff was a little too intrusive. Staff were helpful in providing a late check out.

I thought the Hotel was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night. We got there at almost midnight and it is across from a beach where young people gathered. Their music was very, very loud but it stopped a few minutes after 12. Otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep. We had requested that one of our rooms have 2 double beds and got a room with only one bed. Could have been a problem if it hadn't been that they were sisters. It does state that they can't guarantee room requests but I think they need to add this feature. The breakfast was nice and located in a nice area.

I liked the fact that the place was clean and tidy and there was a daily house keeping service. I also liked that it was right next to the beach. In terms of improvement, there could have been some more variety offered in the breakfast, particularly things like eggs, sausages and cheese

If you just need a room with a bed to lay your head on at the end of the day. this place will do. Good A/C in our room. Shower, toilet, and a bed. It's about as basic as you can get. If you are expecting Hilton or Radison type accomodation-you are going to be quite let down. I would stay here again as I'm cheap... and this place filled the bill.

The property was run down and the rooms were ancient. The room smelled stuffy. Worse than a motel 6 or red roof. Way overpriced for its presentation online versus in person. The entire place needs to be remodeled. Barbados is a beautiful country, this hotel experience could put a damper on one’s experience if you stay here.

First night hot water did not work. Second day in the afternoon after maintenance was a no show my husband sorted the hot water issue. Shower did not work appears a pressure issue and for entire stay we had to use hand held part. Room was just outside housekeeping lock Up and not the quiet room I asked for. Not for noise sensitive guests sorry.

The standard room doesnt look anything like the pictures. The cleaning staff was very rude to my wife after she requested a fresh towel. There was a huge cockroach in my room. I asked for a manager and was told there wasnt one available. The front desk staff ignored my concerns.

Staff were amazing, very welcoming and helpful. Property was very well taken care of and rooms were ver clean! We were staying during hurricane Beryl, staff kept checking on us and provided drinking water….property is located in a very convenient area, walking distance to food, shopping and is right across the road from Rockley beach. A staff & property, I would definitely recommend

The rooms are well appointed and I would recommend as a good place to stay and the staff were eventually able to accommodate our need for a room on a lower floor although I had requested this several weeks prior to our arrival but did not receive a response. Feedback regarding food and staff - The food availability in the restaurant was not great and the breakfast options were not regularly refreshed during the breakfast session. Did not appreciate the staff chatting loudly outside our room when we were resting in the room. The property is very close to Rockley beach and I would recommend the nearby food court and restaurants rather than the hotel restaurant, (which was very expensive and only a few menu items available).

Did not appreciate the staff chatting loudly outside our room when we were resting in the room. The property is very close to Rockley beach and I would recommend the nearby food court and restaurants rather than the hotel restaurant, (which was very expensive and only a few menu items available).

Overall, the property is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. It would have been courteous to have the AC already, especially given the fact I had to walk up 55 flights of stairs. Things to be aware of: No elevators. I was placed on the 4th floor and had to carry my belongings up. Thank goodness I'm young with no barriers to exercising. Although the beach is across the street, it has an excessive amount of seaweed right on the beach and waterfront. Some people managed to still go in the water. Plenty of buses and taxis are right in front of the hotel if you are an adventurous person and don't mind heading out on your own. The continental breakfast is very plain with no protein (hard-boiled eggs). They serve breakfast there for a pretty expensive price. You're better off walking a short distance to Quayside Center. If you don't want fast food like Chefette, KFC, etc, check out Afrobeats by Shaz restaurant for some delicious food with a great variety. If you take a left outside the main entrance of hotel, it's about a 13-16 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk.

Excellent location, right across from the beach. Easy access to public transportation. Front desk staff helpful. The only negative is the continental breakfast. It was pathetic. There is an extra cost for eggs. At minimum, offer hard boil eggs.

I love the beach right across the street only thing i guess you pay for . The property was well kept . No elevator was my downfall the people was not too friendly only a few . the continental breakfast was a big joke no eggs only bread and butter along with some small pieces of fruits
