This property was very spartan, reminded me of a red roof or hotel 6. Unlike those, there wasn’t a boiler in room. I’ve experienced this before and most properties have free coffee in lobby. Not here,one needed to pay. Plus no elevator! A newer appearing hotel with no elevator? I would not stay here again

Great hotel! Clean and quiet. Free parking. They do serve breakfast for 3,400 isk per person and they have a dinner buffet for 8,900 isk per person. We thought this was a bit expensive but if you want food right there that’s an option. Would recommend booking a stay !

We as a family of five had 2 rooms, each room has three comfortable beds. It’s a student dorm turned into a hotel during summer, but with all necessities covered. We were aware of the expensive breakfast so we organised ourselves elsewhere. Free and spacious parking and free good working WiFi. There was also a bar at the hotel. Definitely a place to come back to.

Basic hotel with a large parking lot. Our hotel room was in front of the hotel's garbage, the sounds of music carried into the room right from the morning. Also sounds of the corridor could also be heard clearly in the room. We dont take breakfast because it cost too much. Otherwise, a good clean hotel.

OK to stay on or two nights, during weekends expect a lot of noise by guest during night time (especially the old building) and early morning by tourist using the shared bath fascilities. The "bar" in the lobby is a tremendous rip-off so stay away. Close to outdoor swimming pool and 15min walk to the city center. 6/10

The entire hotel smelled like fish. Our bedroom was above the restaurant and for some reason they have pop music playing so loud i thought a rave was going on under me. I asked the staff to turn it down since the restaurant was empty but it didn’t help much. It was loud until 9pm and the you could hear the music from the bar until midnight. There are no amenities in the room like tv. Should be advertised as more of a hostel than a hotel. The common area with tv and pool table was nice but it closed very early.

The staff was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. I wish that we would have known in advance that room was on second floor without elevator, as my travel companion had difficulty with the stairs.

A very modern and clean hotel. All sites of interest to us were in easy walking distance of the hotel. Many open spaces and brilliant views of the fjord from the bedroom window. A short 15 minute walk to the harbour and then caught a boat to see whales (we saw three species). Also an easy walk to the church, high street and old town.

La stanza è grande e comoda. I bagni indescrivibili, due water per corridoio con una sola doccia non funzionante, per farla bisognava andare nell'altro corridoio con altrettante stanze. La pulizia inesistente. Abbiamo fatto il check in nel tardo pomeriggio e i bagni in comune non erano stati puliti e neanche svuotati i cestini con la carta. Questa situazione è rimasta per tutto il giorno dopo. Inqualificabile.

Bodde i gamla delen var helt okej endast som förstås beror på gästerna, skräpade ner på toaletterna som är gemensamt för flygeln. Lobbybar riktigt tråkig man fick ingen känsla av att vilja sitta där för en drink eller kaffe.

I ended up on the third floor of the older “boarding school side.” The hotel was serviceable and people were readily able to address my concerns. Some aspects of the hotel were a little rough around the edges: third floor walk-up room for me, tourist-bus heavy breakfast times sometimes made it hard to find a seat for breakfast, not too centrally located (big hill down to quite a few sights and run routes). None of those could be helped by the hotel, and did not factor in my ratings, but would be helpful to know. I had a few crumbs in the closet, a few hairs on the bedding, and the drinking on the sink still had a bit of cleaning solution still streaked upon it. All were able to be fixed on my own.

Had everything I needed and the price was fantastic. There is no soundproofing so it really comes down to luck as to who the other guests are. I was lucky in that the floor was quiet but I can see how it could get loud. Everything was super clean and the room was comfortable. No frills and cheap and thats exactly what I was looking for.

Inexpensive, but the sound proofing of the room was very bad, people checking in at 3.30 am woke us up and we heard every single one coming and going. The bad was not great and the pillows aweful. The breakfast was very nice.

Nice modern and clean hotel. It’s almost a suite with microwave and a fridge. Very spacious. Most of all, the location is very convenient. A few minutes walk to the church, botanical garden, and downtown. No need to drive to go to downtown.

The rooms were very nice and the bar area was comfortable and spacious. When I checked in, the room I was given was already occupied, which was very disconcerting. Then upon checking it, we were charged for breakfast that we did not have. Both things were quickly taken care of by the very helpful and apologetic staff.

Personal am Empfang sehr unfreundlich. Kreditkarte muss vorgelegt werden falls etwas sein sollte ??? Reisen 10 Tage durch Island und es ist bisher nie gefordert worden. Highlight war noch, dass trotz Buchung über Expedia mit allen Gebühren vor Ort eine Zahlung fällig geworden ist (Tourist Tax) Absolut nicht zu empfehlen die Unterkunft

We were originally assigned a student room with bathroom down the hall. We asked for a better room and were transferred to the "hotel" side of the complex. The front desk staff was kind and very informative, almost entertaining. We enjoyed the area.

Le personnel vraiment sympathique. Belle chambre. Ils avaient donné notre chambre à une autre personne, donc on a eu un surclassement. Très bon emplacement. Par contre, le déjeuner est servi dans une cafétéria pas très conviviale et très bruyant.

Likely an odd occurrence but the buildings alarms went off about five times between the hours of midnight and 2am which lead to a restless sleep. Hotel staff were not great in communicating nor provided an answer the following morning. Otherwise a fine place and decent location.

Nos tuvieron una hora y media esperando para darnos una habitación porque dicen que expedía no les comunico que la reserva era para 2 adultos y 2 niños. Las opciones eran una habitación como la reservada pero sin baño privado, o meter 2 camas supletorias en una habitación doble pequeña. Tras más de hora y media NUNCA nos llevaron las camas, dejaron un colchón y una cuna sin vestirlas en el descansillo del final del pasillo, por lo que el niño tenía que dormir sobre un colchón en el suelo y el otro en una cuna. Tampoco hubo toallas para los niños. Una Reserva LAMENTABLE. No había ascensor y hubo que subir las maletas por las escaleras al tercero, y la atención en recepción del problema de la habitación no fue para nada cordial cuando el problema según ellos era de EXPEDÍA

A very modern and clean hotel. All sites of interest to us were in easy walking distance of the hotel. Many open spaces and brilliant views of the fjord from the bedroom window. A short 15 minute walk to the harbour and then caught a boat to see whales (we saw three species). Also an easy walk to the church, high street and old town.

Nice modern and clean hotel. It’s almost a suite with microwave and a fridge. Very spacious. Most of all, the location is very convenient. A few minutes walk to the church, botanical garden, and downtown. No need to drive to go to downtown.

Great hotel! Clean and quiet. Free parking. They do serve breakfast for 3,400 isk per person and they have a dinner buffet for 8,900 isk per person. We thought this was a bit expensive but if you want food right there that’s an option. Would recommend booking a stay !

Basic hotel with a large parking lot. Our hotel room was in front of the hotel's garbage, the sounds of music carried into the room right from the morning. Also sounds of the corridor could also be heard clearly in the room. We dont take breakfast because it cost too much. Otherwise, a good clean hotel.

The only thing to complain was the restaurant. I choose the buffet. But most of the dishes were cold since nobody switched on the re-heater or the were partially broken. Apart of that the hotel was fulfilling my needs, clean showers, clean and cozy room.
