Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Prattville Montgomery

Had a 1-night here on May 19, 2026. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Welcome bag of snacks was an unexpected surprise. The room was not plush (and I did not expect it to be) but it was well equipped with everything I needed. You can tell from the pics that the furnishings are mounted off the floor and close to the wall, but that saves a ton of space. One issue was the faucet in the bathroom was mounted so far back that you couldn't rinse your hands without pressing them against the sink. A plumber messed up for sure! The bed was comfortable with whatever extra linens I would have needed. There were 4 pillows, but like most hotels, bring your own. Breakfast consisted of scrambled (but instant) eggs, bagels, pastry, breads, waffles, juices, hard boiled eggs, all the condiments you would want, cereals, and the dining area was bright and spacious. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I booked the room via hotels com, total price was about $135 for one night. It's very conveniently located to I65 and there are a variety of fast food restaurants nearby. I certainly recommend this place if you want a very nice, basic hotel stay.

Check in was quick and lobby was clean. Parking lot was well lit and there was a nice outdoor sitting area for smokers so they weren’t standing around the entrance. Beds were comfortable but the room was not clean at all. Tub had soap scum all over, toilet looked like it had been sprayed with disinfectant and it was sticky. Floors were dirty and sticky so we had to wear socks. Breakfast was good though with hot and cold items and the area was clean. Overall the stay was nice if the room had just been cleaned properly.

Traffic noise was high, next to I65. Walls thin, can hear neighbors TV, and hall noise. Otherwise nice clean place, did not eat the breakfast, left too early

The reservation was booked through hotels.com, but when we arrived we were told that the reservation had been canceled. The hotel gave no reason, just that it had been canceled. We showed them the reservation confirmation, but it fell on deaf ears. I've used hotels.com for years, but no more.
