Set in the quiet countryside this was a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of choices catering to both European and North American tastes. I dined there several times and had really good meals. It was a perfect starting point for my trips to various Bavarian destinations (Munich, Memmingen, Neuschwanstein, Rothenberg ob der Tauber, and Regensburg. For me, the only downside was that the bed was somewhat hard but that will depend on your preferences. Despite that downside, I extended my stay from one to six days.
