This was a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The stay was so romantic looking out at the very spot that is in books and advertisements. The view was great and everything was within walking distance. The room was a nice size with okay storage. There are no fans, refrigerators, coffee machines, or elevators. The bed was very squicky. It is a little nosey from room 15, but to be expected based on the location. The parking area is very small and limited, but it is connected to the hotel for quick easy access. There is no parking on the streets around the hotel. The breakfast could be a little better. The town is so beautiful and romantic. Excellent weekend getaway.

This property is perfectly located and has on site parking for smaller cars. We were able to walk to everything in the city. The view from room #17 was amazing!!! Would stay here again. Little place right across the street to eat breakfast and get some coffee, short walk to the city wall, the famed house everyone takes a photo of is right outside of the window, great location.

Herbergin eru greinilega óeinangruð, heyrðist mjög hátt í vekjaraklukku úr öðru herbergi kl. 05:10 Enginn svefnfriður vegna hávaða frá umferð framhjá alla nóttina. Veitingastaðurinn lokaður en átti að vera opinn. Enginn bar og mjög dimmt í öllum almenningsrýmum vegna orkusparnaðar. Það jákvæða við þessa dvöl var þó að bærinn er með þeim fallegustu sem ég hef séð.

エレベーターが無く階段を使用しなければなりませんでしたが、スタッフさんが別の入り口に案内してくれて\u30001階分だけ階段を上がればいいように案内してくださった。又朝ごはんの種類も豊富で非常に満足でした。又ここで頂いた黒パンがとっても美味しく忘れられません。

Great location, right next to the Plönlein, and they even have their own garage for the guests - a little pricey, but it is in the middle of the old town, so the convenience makes that very much worth it. 家庭的な雰囲気で親切なスタッフ。ロケーションは有名なプレーンラインの景色にもなっています。左の青壁の建物です。これ以上ないでしょう！レストランも味、コスパも良いと評判らしいのですが、私が滞在した日は残念ながらお休みでした。朝食ビュッフェは種類も豊富でとても美味しかったです。

You couldn’t possibly be in a better location than this. They have a parking garage which is super handy as everything worth seeing is in easy walking distance. There is a daily charge to park but worth it. Our room was large and comfortable, the only thing I would change is the dated carpeting otherwise a tremendous place to stay. The breakfast buffet has a great selection for all tastes. We would happily stay there again.

The best part about the hotel is the location and the staff- both were excellent. But I wasn’t impressed with the room I had. It was exceptionally outdated, carpets were stained and old, and there were no amenities- no coffee maker nor tea kettle, no mini fridge or mini bar. I also had a small issue with ants. But my main problem was that the bed was soooo uncomfortable. I was there 3 nights and slept horribly all three nights. The mattress was just awful. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber soweit sauber. Duscharmatur veraltet und nicht optimal einstellbar, hab ich an der Rezeption mitgeteilt. Frühstück einfach, aber alles da.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Property is located in the heart of the town making accessibility to the surrounds extremely useful. The staff were excellent, only very small language barrier at times (nothing that could not be sorted). Highly recommend the stay

Erster Besuch in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral inmitten der Altstadt, man ist sofort in der schönen Einkaufsstraße mit einer Vielzahl an Restaurants. Unser Zimmer war okay, aber etwas zu dunkel. Ansonsten hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen. Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

いわゆるプレーンラインのすぐそばにあるホテルです。ロマンチック街道といえば、という写真スポットのすぐ近くなので不思議な感じです。 朝早くや夜遅くでも安心して写真が撮れるのも良いですね。冷蔵庫がないのは少し残念なところですが、部屋が広く、ベッドも快適で問題ありません。朝食も非常に満足度が高いです。 ただ、隣接するレストランはもう少し改善が必要かもしれません。朝食のクオリティの割に普通です。ワインはとても美味しかったですが、少なくとも私たちが注文した料理は可もなく不可もなくといった感じで、朝食に比べると嬉しい驚きはありませんでした。 また、駅からはそこそこ歩くので、電車で来る場合は到着時間に注意です。ホテルスタッフの方はとても親切で、遅くの到着でも快く対応してくれましたが、単純に夜遅くに駅から歩いてくるのは真っ暗なのでそこそこ怖いです。やはり20時前には到着するプランを立てるべきでしょう。(車であれば問題はなさそうです) 観光スポットへのアクセスもよく、市壁にも登りやすく、全体としては高評価です。また機会があれば泊まりたいと思いますが、レストランは利用しないかもです。

We really enjoyed our stay at the Glocke. Its a very unique building and tactfully decorated. The room was spacious. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is a huge bonus point. Just a 2 min stroll up the street and you are in the main square area. We repent for not staying for more than one night at the Glocke.

Erster Besuch in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral inmitten der Altstadt, man ist sofort in der schönen Einkaufsstraße mit einer Vielzahl an Restaurants. I had a train to catch early in the morning. As I’m leaving the property, the check out desk is closed so I left the key there, and sent a message to the property to charge my card on file. I get a response from the property, with exclamation points that they cannot charge my card. I immediately respond and say, I’ll get you a new card and I’ll take care of it. Even though I’m clearly not trying to skip out on the bill, I get messages from the property about how they are going to get the police involved if I don’t pay by 8am. I’m clearly working with the lady to try to get it paid, I don’t appreciate being threatened. I mean they took my credit card upon arrival, isn’t that’s what that’s for? So I’m on a train trying to send my credit card info over message, while service is going in and out because this lady is freaking out. When I clearly said, I will get it taken care of. Once I got service again, I called gave them another card (don’t think they take Amex) and paid. Property was very classic and nice, they need to train their employees the art of chill in a unfortunate situation. Checkout was at 11 and this lady freaking out at 8am was not appropriate. It caused stress in my trip, and clearly I had all intentions of paying, that’s why I messaged them. If this is a problem, take payment up front like all other hotels. I gave them my card for this reason.

The parking was very safe, although initially a little difficult to find. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was continental and it was adequate. The location was absolutely amazing.

This is my second time staying at this property. I suggest you ask for room #17, it has the best views. The parking garage is located next door so it's convenient. The shopping and Christmas markets are an easy walk to the right after you come out of the front door. The city walls can be walked if you go left out of the front door. The staff has always been great and helpful. Everyone speaks English as well.

Great small hotel with large room. Service was great also. Had trouble finding the garage so someone at the front desk went to the garage and flagged us down and helped us park. Then he helped us with our bags to the room, can't remember the last time that happened. Great breakfast and housekeeping.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Glocke. Its a very unique building and tactfully decorated. The room was spacious. The breakfast was nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is a huge bonus point. Just a 2 min stroll up the street and you are in the main square area. We repent for not staying for more than one night at the Glocke.

You couldn’t possibly be in a better location than this. They have a parking garage which is super handy as everything worth seeing is in easy walking distance. There is a daily charge to park but worth it. Our room was large and comfortable, the only thing I would change is the dated carpeting otherwise a tremendous place to stay. The breakfast buffet has a great selection for all tastes. We would happily stay there again.

Great location, right next to the Plönlein, and they even have their own garage for the guests - a little pricey, but it is in the middle of the old town, so the convenience makes that very much worth it. Rather old fashioned room, but well kept, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. I thought the price was good, especially given the location.

Das Frühstück und das Essen im zugehörigen Gasthof waren sehr gut. Ein Kritikpunkt ist, dass kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad vorhanden waren.

Customer service was excellent and the hotel is very convenient to all that the old town has to offer. The hotel is very charming and the restaurant was fantastic also. The room was very comfortable. We were able to walk easily anywhere we wanted to go. This was the perfect stay for our visit to the Rothenburg Christmas markets and we would highly recommend!
