We had such a great family getaway at this lovely lakefront home! It was perfect for our extended family of 4 adults and 5 kids. Between the hot tub, the dock with several different boats, fire pit, access to a pool and tennis courts, and lots of hiking trails, you won’t run out of things to do. You can also relax in the four seasons room and on the dock as much as you want. The owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. 10/10

We had a great stay! Unfortunately due to rainy conditions we did not utilize the outdoor firepit but the hot tub was great. The house was very clean and contacting the property owner was very easy.

Lake is beautiful, house is close to attractions for children. The house was fine for 5 adults and 2 children. The dock and paddle boat could use some work . Pool/ beach fee is expensive. Enjoyed our stay on the lake, fishing from dock and rowboat.

The house was well appointed and was very updated. It was very clean. The house was so cozy. The hot tub was huge and very clean. We did not get a chance to use the kayak or go on the lake because it was cold, however the area by the water is also well thought out with chairs and a fire pit with a view of the water. The only thing I would have changed is to have a railing that goes around the lower platform of the back deck (on the right side) and lighting at night on the steps that go down the back porch. Other than that everything was great!

The owner gave very clear written expectations for our stay meaning what was provided in the house, how to check in, use the key pad, and how to check out. Hot tub, row boat, and walkway to lake could use some up keep. Seems like owner is in process of updating outside back deck and steps. House was very clean. All appliances worked and we used the washer/dryer frequently. Lake is amazing. My son was out before sun rise fishing and the kids loved the two person kayak. Trash can was already full when we arrived but we stacked on top as instructed. Bedding, sheets and towels were all freshly laundered. We had a great time. Owner was also very nice when we accidentally set off the fire alarm. Be careful w that touch pad!

Perfect location for three couples who went to college together to have a little reunion. We were all coming from different parts of the east coast to meet up and it was the nicest little weekend trip for all six of us. Perfect size home while staying cozy. All the beds were very comfortable. House was super clean. Well supplied kitchen (we cooked dinner both nights and used the Weber grill) hot tub looked amazing but we didn’t get to use because it was so cold this weekend. Had a nice time fishing off the dock. Plenty to do around the area and many places to get groceries. Would love to comeBack in the summer. Perfect for a weekend getaway with our 4 kids. Camelback was 25 minutes away and this lake house was perfect to cozy up after a day on the slopes. We all loved the hot tub, fireplace, and lake views. Kids loved the bunk beds. Very clean. Owner was communicative and friendly. Long line at the office to get parking passes but it moved very quickly and the staff were kind and helpful, was easy. Would definitely rent again.

The owner was VERY communicative after booking and before and after our stay. Check in was easy. The amenities were as advertised including the hot tub. 3 good bedrooms on the upstairs area, including a room with bunk beds. Downstairs was another bedroom and bath. Kitchen and bath were well stocked with hand and dish soap, paper products, towels and bed linens. Everything was clean and inviting.

First time renting this property and certainly hope to return again, hopefully when it's a little warmer. House was meticulously clean and very nicely laid out. Fireplace was very nice in the very cold and snowy weather. Hot tub looked great but chickened out going in since it was 9 degrees after dinner :) Needed to contact the owner a few times prior to our stay and once after we arrived and he responded immediately. We love this area of the Poconos (we've visited the area many times) and the house is close to just about everything you would want, e.g., Mt. Airy Casino and many taverns and restaurants. The lake looks beautiful and hope to come back and do some fishing in the fall.

very nice home, the kids loved the hot tub. the place was clean and neat. Check in was. very easy.. I wish we knew we could get in at 2 rather than 4 pm. The check in process was a bit secretive for some reason (even after you pay, you don't know all the details of the house until about 6 days before you arrive... I don't know why? It is a lovely place. )

My husband and I took our three kids under 8 for a short, two night stay. Ray was extremely helpful even before we checked in. Everything was nice and accurate compared to the pictures. Neighborhood felt safe and the park was great for the kids. Wish our stay was longer!

The amenities were as advertised including the hot tub. 3 good bedrooms on the upstairs area, including a room with bunk beds. Downstairs was another bedroom and bath. Kitchen and bath were well stocked with hand and dish soap, paper products, towels and bed linens. Everything was clean and inviting.

Perfect location for three couples who went to college together to have a little reunion. We were all coming from different parts of the east coast to meet up and it was the nicest little weekend trip for all six of us. Perfect size home while staying cozy. All the beds were very comfortable. House was super clean. Well supplied kitchen (we cooked dinner both nights and used the Weber grill) hot tub looked amazing but we didn’t get to use because it was so cold this weekend. Had a nice time fishing off the dock. Plenty to do around the area and many places to get groceries. Would love to comeBack in the summer. Ray the owner was super responsive and check in process was seamless. Thank you for a great weekend.

This is a beautiful comfortable clean home with great views and serene landscape! perfect vacation getaway either with family and friends. My friends and I recently stayed here and I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the property itself was stunning. It was clean, modern and well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The layout was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook up some delicious meals. But what really made this stay stand out was the exceptional service we received from the property owner. The place was great to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. They hung out in the hot tub and we were only 25 minutes from Camelback to do some Snowtubing. We all had an amazing time.

First time renting this property and certainly hope to return again, hopefully when it's a little warmer. House was meticulously clean and very nicely laid out. Fireplace was very nice in the very cold and snowy weather. Hot tub looked great but chickened out going in since it was 9 degrees after dinner :) Needed to contact the owner a few times prior to our stay and once after we arrived and he responded immediately. We love this area of the Poconos (we've visited the area many times) and the house is close to just about everything you would want, e.g., Mt. Airy Casino and many taverns and restaurants. The lake looks beautiful and hope to come back and do some fishing in the fall.

It was a great property! Lots of wildlife in the back yard and enough room for all 8 of us. I do wish there was a sponge or towels to hand wash dishes and more trash bags where provided. But other wise it was a great experience.

This property is in a quiet residential neighborhood right on Lake Carobeth. The amenities listed are accurate, although you may want to pack extra flatware, face towels, washcloths and dishcloths. The bathroom on the first floor was tiny but shower, toilet and sink all worked well. Our daughter needed to devise a makeshift tub stopper to bathe her 2 year-old in the upstairs tub. Our biggest disappointment was that the 5 days we stayed here Lake Carobeth had harmful algae bloom so we could not boat/kayak safely. That, of course, was not the fault of the host. However, we felt he should have been aware of this and alerted us. We did spend a day at Tobyhanna State Park which is close by. Another problem we encountered was that we were not given the welcome packet upon check-in. When we arrived at the pool with our barcoded pool passes we learned that we needed the purple passes as well to enter. This was not the host’s fault either, but we do recommend that a note should be included with barcoded passes to alert guests to this requirement. The lighting on the path to the dock needs some repairs for safety and the cushions on indoor and outdoor porch furniture is rather dirty. The overhead lighting in the living room is broken and no other lamps. If you have small children like we did you will probably want to relocate the large glass cylinders next to the fireplace and the two-tier glass coffee table. Overall we had a great time and made many memories.
