Out of 3 years of traveling and constantly staying at different hotels, I would say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Hot tub with way too much chemicals, breakfast was very lacking, some staff were rude, some were unhelpful with questions. I think There was only one staff member who actually helped. The elevator makes a drop sound every time you take it. The gym was so disappointing ( and considering I’ve seen more older properties have better equipment says something). The bathroom light would turn on automatically with no one in there in the middle of the night, making you get up and turn it off. In all honesty, please pay more and stay somewhere else.

Good stay, close to lots of activity. Easy to find where to eat, shop and freeways. I wish the sheets were more plush or soft, like sleeping duvet covers. Dove products were plentiful. I enjoyed our stay would definitely try this place again. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes and many bread options, cereals, etc. I like the 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate self serve in the lobby, water dispenser too. My favorite detail was the pool, it’s indoors, clean and the hot tub was hotttt!

The rooms have been renovated. However, the rooms are filthy. Walls are dripping with food and other unidentifiable liquids. The curtain in the room we were in had dried up good and some other substance. The carpet is filthy in the rooms and throughout the hotel. The floors are filthy. The sheets were stained. Pillows are flat. This hotel cleanliness is horrible. Book at your own risk.

Its a decent place to stay if visiting Sequoia National Park, although its 45 minutes from the closest entrance. The room was fine, although the bathroom was not well cleaned in spots. My problem was with the broken ice machine, the cleanliness of the common areas and the failure to keep the breakfast food restocked. The toaster required directions and no ond could figure out how to operate it. It was chaotic and messy.

Do NOT stay here. Property is dirty and run down. Pool and spa are NOT usable, it is cold, run down and gross. Poor service. The front desk was more interested in smoking outside than getting a clean comforter for our room. There were no clean comforters and they would not allow us to switch rooms. Smoke from outside enters the building and the whole 2nd floor reeked like pot cigars. The place needs to be shut down :(

Overall, great. This is a fairly new hotel. Two small issues. One, breakfast room is too small for total number of rooms. Second, AC seemed to cycle on and off a lot and this can be distrubing.

The room is clean but a little run down. The front desk staff when we checked in was a little uninterested, kind of like just going through their daily routine. Also, when we first got into the room, there was loud music being played either downstairs or right outside our window.

Our first room abutted a nearby amusement park. The noise was too loud to sleep; staff were responsive and put us in another room. This is a no frills place. There was some damage on our walls, and the complimentary breakfast was minimal, especially for vegans/vegetarians. The location provided good access.

First time I stayed was in October and it was wonderful. This time was not so wonderful. The walls are paper thin … we could hear the conversations with one of the rooms next to us and the other room next to us we heard the head board hitting the wall when they were having sex. We had our 11 year son in the room with us and he was also hearing everything and I mean everything.

Let me start with the good. First the staff were very friendly. The room was large and spacious. The bed ,although a bit hard for my taste was satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable. The one down side was the key issue. Every day , including the first day, I had to have my electronic key card re-programmed. This became an unnecessary hassle to an otherwise perfect stay. I noticed other guests with the same issue. After about the third incident I asked the employee at the front desk what the problem was. I was told that it’s a recurring issue that has been brought to the attention of management, however they’ve chosen to do nothing about the situation. That is simply unacceptable. I can’t recommend this hotel until I hear and have witnessed accounts that the problem has been resolved.

Check in took a bit, but there was only one young lady at the front desk and she did an amazing job flying solo. Greeted all of us with a smile and very efficient. Always enjoy staying here when we come to visit family.

Our first night was not comfortable at all. We checked in around 4 and headed off to dinner. We got back to the hotel around 7 ready to relax from the long trip. We turned on the Tv only to find out it didn’t work. The Direct Tv company had a message that the activation needed to be complete by calling them. We called the front desk and were told that there was nothing they could do because the maintenance guy was gone for the day. He leaves at 4:00pm. We asked if we could be moved to another room. She said no and that we had to talk to the manager in the morning. My husband has a hard time falling asleep without the TV so you can imagine how he slept. The air conditioner rattled all night so none of us were able to sleep. It was a horrible night. In the morning I spoke with the manger about the TV and he relayed the message to the maintenance guy sitting next to him. The manager told us that since we booked through Expedia there was nothing he could do to compensate us for the horrible experience. I don’t know of this was true but I feel like something could have been done.

We had an awful experience at this hotel. The bedsheets were filthy, with black hair and red stains still on them. When we raised the issue, the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. We felt so uncomfortable that we left within an hour of arriving and had to find a new place to stay in the middle of the night. To make things worse, the manager refuses to refund us the full amount, which is unbelievable considering what we went through. Absolutely unacceptable—would not recommend to anyone.

Its was a smooth check in w a greet of can I help you….. but on the other hand I do want to thank and Point out Peter excellence customer service. He went above and beyond for us and greeted us w a friend and warm smile. No hesitation and just made us feel very welcome. He even provided with a pull out bet at a very late times. Thanks Peter! Your amazing!

The male employee at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. However, the female was not and really looked unenthused to assist anyone. Our room was clean and I like that they will clean your room daily, as many hotels no longer do this. We asked for extra towels, and they were happy to help. The breakfast is not that great. The second morning, we opted for a restaurant. They offer waffles, but they were just ok. The bagels were good. The eggs seemed like maybe they were fake, the sausage was not browned and looked raw. They offered juice and coffee, but I wish they had tea.

The only problem I had was when I made the reservation and checked in by the link sent no where did it tell me I either needed to bring a separate credit card or $200 cash deposit so when I got there I had to leave go back home retrieve $200 cash for a deposit. Pretty annoying and inconvenient

This hotel property is great. The staff is always friendly and helpful and it’s where I stay when I visit family in the area 2-3 times a year. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and breakfast is always ready from 6-9 am in the lobby.

When I checked in, the woman at the front desk was distracted by her child and the TV with cartoons. One day ok, two days in a row same scene. It seems as though management allows her to work and watch her child, must be pretty desperate to get people to work there. Meanwhile the “free breakfast” was a joke, cereal, bread to make toast and self made waffles. I’m thinking this should be an hourly motel, if you get the hint.

Have stayed at other La quinta inns and honesty will not return to this one. Breakfast 1 -star .. nothing available not even coffee. This was at 7am. Staff..looks like they hate their job. Very disappointed.

Two night stay with family while visiting the national parks. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. There were lots of families so the breakfast would go fast, but the staff would quickly refill anything that ran out. The dining area is pretty small, special during busy season, so it was tough finding a spot sometimes.

Breakfast choices the same every day, hot foods same every other day - same egg patty every single day, sausage and cold diced potatoes, or ham and biscuits (cold) and gravy. Really tasteless options. otherwise, everything on buffet was the same every day for the 7 days we were there.

This Hotel and it staff made you feel like you were at home. The Breakfast was a fantastic buffet, and they changed what they served from day to day which is wonderful for people like me who stay several days.

We stayed 2 nyts so that we can go early saturday morning. The food was already and some of the guest put food on the plate and suddenly the staff said, it's just 6:45am and to wait until 7am. I said for real? The food was already on our plate? The frontdesk did not even informed us that the breakfast will be ready at 7am. That was embarrasing.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. But the breakfast. Oh Boy!! They kept running out of breakfast items. When there was eggs, there was no sausage when there was sausage there was an eggs, ran out of orange juice. And to top it off, they ran totally out of paper plates.

8 day stay to attend a family funeral. Pros: Breakfast is provided. Standard bagels, muffins, toast, cereal + a waffle maker. Hot items were eggs each day + bacon or sausage and biscuits / gravy or potatoes. Pool and Hot Tub: didn’t see it too crowded. Nice Fairly quiet: had a room on the 3rd floor next to the elevator. Night collection staff pointed out or room since we had a longer than typical stay and gave us a choice if we wanted the first floor not by the elevator, or the 3rd floor, but next to the elevator. Daily housekeeping service. A lot of hotels don’t do daily service anymore. Room was clean. Housekeeper was great and checked in several times to see if we needed something else Convenient Area: Visalia has grown and has some areas to stay away from. Area was good, close to the freeway, Walgreens, fast food / coffee options. Easy access. Cons: Breakfast did get a bit repetitive. Pet friendly (I assume), so an occasional barking dog at 2 am if that isn’t your thing. Room keys are temperamental, so it takes 10 tries to get in or the very air deactivated them. Day front counter staff seemed to have many many tasks, so there were several times we found just a sign that said “Back in 30 min,” so frustrating when we were locked out or having key difficulties frequently. Like every other hotel in states where it is legal, faint smell of marijuana lingers. Overall, the hotel is nicely maintained and the staff was helpful. Would stay again.
