2 things. 1. The pool was closed for major maintenance issues. It would have been nice to have known that before I booked our 2 day stay. 2. The floor in the bathroom was tiled with the same synthetic flooring as the whole place. It is not designed to be in wet environments and dirty water gets down between the tiles and bubbles up when you step on it! Gross! There were dirty lines soaked into the bath mats!

The hotel was clean, the rooms were a decent size, we were provided towels when we asked. So, it was a good situation, for sure. However, the pool was shut down and has been for awhile, with no intent on it being open for at least the rest of 2025- so that should have been disclosed. Also, they charge $5 a night for parking - and that was nowhere to be found on my booking. There were also lots of inconveniences, like the side door was broken so people kept propping ot open with a rock.

The hotel does not have a cart for transporting luggage, it has been missing for a month according to an employee. How is it possible? I had to move all my things by hand and they only had one and it is missing. A hotel with so many rooms is a problem that they must solve immediately.

The daytime staff was great! The elevator in the rear of the hotel needs help! You have to reach your finger inside the panel to push for the 3rd floor. The pool that was advertised was filled with green disgusting water. Housekeeping had done a good job with the rooms themselves, but the hallways were in need of vacuuming.

This was not the quality of room we expected. Maybe they are short staffed, but the room wasn't ready at check-in time and there were hairs all over the bathroom. The lamps and the tv were all hooked up to the same light switch so if you turned the lights off, the tv went off and we had to unplug the lamps to watch tv. The hotel itself wasn't bad, but our room was not up to par.

Would not stay again. Room was gross and didnt want to sleep on bed. Smelled like mildew in room. Bathroom had mold in shower. It was very noisy outside and you could hear everything. Bed was hard and felt like it was going to fall apart.

Power failure during visit. Food subpar not breakfast but snacks. Bed looked like someone already slept in it. Second floor smelled like vomit, feces and toxic fumes. Next morning I woke up with an eye infection after passing through fumes twice.

A total waste of money. Overflowing waste in the hallways. My toilet was clogged and I had to plunge it because they were short of help. Dirty workout room. Breakfast area was a mess. Television didn’t work. Had to switch rooms. Sent complaints to Wyndham but never heard back.

The suite I was placed in was DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY Moldy Shower, Ceiling In Bathroom looked as though it was going to cave in, floor in the shower was sinking, it was SOOOOO noisy, I reported the noise but nothing was done.

Our first room smelled AWFUL- we discovered it was the dishwasher that had nasty stagnant water in it for who knows how long, they did get us into a different room, but it wasn’t much cleaner. Long black hairs in the bathroom & sheets (none of us have black hair) dead bugs, dirty dishes, & overall in need of a serious deep cleaning. We tried several times to talk with the front desk staff & they just kept telling us the manager would be in @ times that he wasn’t when we called back- finally got ahold of him after probably 7 attempts & he refunded 1/2 of our stay. Completely ruling out La Quinta after 2 terrible stays in a row.

My room wasn’t very clean, the bathroom faucet was very loose and the main bathroom light was out. The toilet roll was almost empty, but the way it just looked like the room wasn’t given much attention, and certainly hadn’t been inspected in awhile. I took a few pictures and went back down to report the sink and light. I told the guy at the front desk that the only light in the bathroom was the dim light behind the mirror. I tried to show pics to him and was told ‘give me a minute, let my get into my system’. Then he went and talked to someone. He came back and said someone will meet you at your room. The maintenance guy came pretty quickly and asked me to show him the faucet. I did. He then told me they were out of the bathroom bulbs for the main light fixture. I stood there for a minute thinking he was going to have a solution for me and he said nothing else. So I said….’so, should we just get dressed in the dark?’ He then said, ‘well I’ll go steal one from somewhere else’. I said Ok, Thank you. He came back and fixed the light and tightened up the faucet (sort of). It was still loose but was much better. I didn’t notice the lock was broken until the day I was leaving. The screws in the bar lock on top of the door were stripped out of the wood. I didn’t even report that since they weren’t really interested in the pictures I had before and repairs didn’t seem to be a priority. I would not choose to stay in this hotel again.

You are going to get what you pay for with this hotel. The breakfast was edible, but nothing to get excited about. The hallways were a little dirty and wrappers and other trash were on the ground in the same spot all three days we were there, which tells me they did not vacuum the halls our entire stay. The rooms were fairly good size and the beds were comfortable. They do have an outdoor pool and decent gym, which were a bonus. Overall, the hotel is liveable, but keep your expectations down. The most positive thing is that the hotel is very affordable. Again.... you get what you pay for.

A little noisy. Had several pillows, not very comfortable. Bed not very comfortable. Air conditioner was not efficient at taking humidity out if the air, therefore towels did not dry well.

We enjoyed our stay, but the main problem was the TV. Our first room the TV did not work at all and the bed sheets didn't seem like it was changed out, so they assigned us to another room, which I was very happy about. Our second room the TV worked but had major issues. The TV would turn off all of a sudden while you're watching TV. Then the volume on the remote would not work, so you had to turn the TV off then on then press the volume button really quick to get it to the volume you want. If you didn't do it in time, you had to turn off the TV again and press the volume again. The TV sometimes wouldn't turn on, so you had to unplug it from the wall and reconnect in order to turn on the TV, and sometimes the TV wouldn't turn off and you would have to unplug the TV to turn it off. Called the front office, they said they could move us to another room, that means moving twice, not having it. They said they will schedule maintenance to take a look at it the next morning; to find out the maintenance person didn't work the next morning. Seems odd to not have any maintenance crew work on a weekday. Maintenace never came out. My husband didn't think the bed was comfortable at all. But other than that, the stay was nice. The area and surrounding area are safe. We would stay there again, hopefully next time the TV will work properly. Walking distance to local eating area, which was nice.

The hotel wasn’t bad for the price. But the walls are paper thin. We could hear everything going on down the hall from inside our room. We had issues with our lock on our door when we first checked in however that did get resolved after making 3 trips down to the front desk. The shower is designed for short people not average height people like myself (5’10”) the layout was a little confusing due to being a huge L shape and the lobby was at the exact opposite end of the building as our room. Overall it wasn’t that bad for under $100 for a night

my check in experience was terrible. the woman was angry and sarcastic, clearly overwhelmed by the number of people checking in (due to the extended power outage in our area). she raised her voice when I asked why i needed to pay another $75 deposit-- my room was already paid in full. the room was fine though

The hotel itself is nice, but the staff are rude and very loud even after i renewed to stay an additional few days they were knocking at my door and even called me asking if i was checking out after i just spent 15 minutes at the front with a lady paying for 2 more nights, and when i had to checkout early due to an emergency i waited at front desk for 30 min and no one ever came to help me. They definitely need to improve on staff and communication!!

Max checked us in both weekends and was respectful and helpful. Thomas was repairing our toilet handle when we got to the room. He was courteous and accommodating. The overnight desk man prepared hot water and coffee for our early morning departure. Thank you all for making our stays comfortable, relaxing and easy. Great staff!

The front desk staff for the most part was not very friendly and when I checked in, i was not given good directions on finding my room or parking. The hotel has a strange layout with entry doors in odd places, so finding the right parking area and entry door was confusing the first time. The fitness area had no towels the first two days of my stay, there was a tool bag on the floor the entire time I was there and no way to clean equipment after use. Breakfast was adequate but the 'hot' foods were room temperature. We did like our room - quiet and comfortable. Overall, if you don't really care about being treated like a valued guest, it was fine and I would stay again for the convenience of getting into Boulder.

Not only did I feel unsafe in the elevator but my room was double booked and I was promised my correct room the second night of our stay but on arrival our second night we did not get our correct room for the second night again. We were very upset and uncomfortable and it was the last night of our vacation and I feel as though it was ruined since we could not enjoy it. The lady at the desk, who obviously did not want to be there, gave us two business cards with the emails of managers to reach out to regarding the issue and we reached out and have yet to hear back. The customer service here is horrendous. I hope that someone will read this and reach out to me to make this better.

I arrived at the hotel and was in the process of checking in around 8:30 PM when I noticed a sign indicating a parking fee. I informed the front desk clerk that I was willing to pay the fee, though I mentioned that the Expedia listing had stated there would be no additional charges beyond the quoted rate. I also noted - politely - that I intended to mention this discrepancy in my review for the benefit of other Expedia users. At that point, the desk clerk informed me that, due to my intention to leave a negative review, he was refusing to rent a room to me. I want to emphasize that I remained completely courteous during the interaction and that the refusal was based solely on my stated intent to leave honest feedback regarding the unexpected parking fee. As of today - five days later - La Quinta has not refunded the payment for my non-refundable room, nor have I received any response to my refund request. For context, I have stayed over 50 nights in La Quinta properties booked through Expedia in the past year alone. In many years and hundreds of bookings via Expedia, I have submitted only two other negative reviews. This experience has been disappointing, to say the least, and not in keeping with the standards I’ve come to expect from La Quinta or Expedia.

The staff was excellent. This property needs some attention. It is aging and upkeep doesn't seem to be the priority. One of the outside doors into the property was not working and had to be propped open with a rock. That is not a secure feeling.

My room was very clean, very quite and very comfortable. It had everything I wanted. The breakfast was seriously lacking: all yogurts expired, stale bread, no bowls for the oatmeal, rotten fruit. It was the worst breakfast buffet I've ever encountered.

Our room had a leaky sink, there was something very sticky on the carpet in front of the TV and also the shower drain was clogged. We've stayed here before and not had such bad luck with one room, but evident that the property needs some TLC. Also, the hotel was busy and they started running out of breakfast food, by day 3 they had nothing "grab and go", only the fake eggs and sausage and a waffle bar. No yogurt, fruit or other pastries. They needed to have better stock of items in anticipation of a lot of guests. (college move-in week!)

The hotel and room were decent enough. No variety in the breakfast. Scrambled eggs and sausage links was the only hot meal provided. And the waffle maker. Also, the room is antiquated in that there are no charge ports for electronic devises. None. In the foyer, yes. In the room, no. It's circa 20th century. I was able to charge my phone from my laptop by plugging it into a conventional gfi desk lamp outlet. But, the lamp was controlled by the wall switch at the door which operated all of the lights. So, the wall switch had to be on to keep laptop on and consequently charge the phone. To avoid having to sleep with the lights on, I had to unscrew all of the bulbs. Then screw them back in in the morning to get light.
