Found a roach in the bathroom at 6 am. Left the room and got a different hotel within 3 hours. Got reimbursed for the second night -although I feel I deserved to be reimbursed for the whole stay. Paint is cracked and chipped throughout. Very rusty corners. Couch was hard as a rock. Bed was the same. I got bit by something on my leg. Room was very large and close to airport (5 mins). Has a shuttle but it was very dirty and old. Pool was very warm, not enjoyable at all: Get what you pay for *shrug*

There were problems from inception. TV didn't, only 2 towels, and very noisy. Front desk person worked desk and maintenance. No parking fences, cameras, or Security. Nine (9) cars had windows smashed including ours. Hotel is denying any liability. We are seeking retribution. La Quinta South, Airport only.

After 40+ years of personal and business travel, I'll rank this as the second worst hotel I've stayed in. It needs to be gutted, renovated, and all staff replaced. It's a long list of complaints, so here's the condensed version: Dirty/worn carpet. Buckling floor in the bathroom. No wifi in our "deluxe" suite (corner rooms too far away, apparently). A bus maintenance depot across the street that powerwashes buses until midnight (desk clerk didn't understand the noise issue I was trying to explain). Thin, small bath towels (like high school PE class), inadequate towels, wash cloths, pillows, and soap (heard similar complaints from other guests). Overflowing trash cans inside and out. Broken glass in the parking lot (parking costs extra). Overflowing cigarette butts in the pool area. Pool water had a distinct green tint to it (not willing to test my immune system in the pool). Bath tub drain clogged. Coffee in the breakfast area is lightly tinted brown water (and that's using the "bold" setting on the machine). Noisy AC unit next to the bed that woke me every time it started (no option for constant fan). Cigarette burn holes in furniture. Key cards which regularly lost their programming. Key cards never worked for the fitness room. On the other hand, you don't need a key card for the hotel's back entrances since the doors don't latch. Very convenient for the occasional vagrants that wandered in. Other issues but I'm out of characters.

My flight was delayed for over an hour so we didn't arrive till 11:30pm. I called about the shuttle that was said to be offered but I got the reservation person. After going through a lot of talk she said she would call the front desk. After being on hold for over 20 minutes and no response I finally found my own ride from another hotel shuttle. When I go to check in all the computers and phone was down so now we had to wait until they finally filled about the info on a piece of paper and gave me a key. This took another 20 minutes and by then it was 12:30 am and I had an early flight in the morning. Then when I asked about the shuttle to the airport I was told they don't go to the international terminal only the domestic. This is so stupid since Atlanta has so many international flights. So we had to go to the domestic terminal and get a bus over. All in all I would never stay at or recommend this hotel again!

The shower in the room was broken. Also, the shuttle stops running a lot earlier than for many other hotels, which makes it less convenient for transportation (an Uber from the airport costs around 20 dollars).

Upon arrival we were met with the police. The police were investigating for break-ins in the vehicles on the lot of La Quinta Inn. We checked in but we never made it to our room. After grabbing food our family decided that this was not a safe neighborhood because for vehicles were broken into overnight plus two vehicles on the property that was adjacent to this building. The staff was very accommodating and returning our money however we are making a mental note not to ever book in this neighborhood again.

The first room smelled moldy. They then switched me to the room next door, which the door had been left wide open before my switch and until I went to the room. You can tell that the furniture was just painted to look decent but it wasn’t in good condition. Bed sheets worn. Bathroom caulk was peeling and in the corners was caked up with dirt. If my flight wasn’t cancelled, and I hadn’t had to find someplace to stay with my two children quickly, I would have never chosen this hotel. Looked good online but was not what it was.

Price was very good. Room was not nice. Bathroom was old, door did not fit properly, flooring was gross, carpet needs to be replaced or removed. Sink drain was extremely slow. Microwave was disgusting and rusty, refrigerator was hardly cold. Couch was old and fixtures were broken. If we had time would have left. Breakfast area needed renovations. Basically the whole property needs to be gutted and updated.

The rooms are beyond nasty. I’m not the type to be grossed out of things but the room was gross. The sheets were stained the, so many rusted places, the bathroom was old. I have a young child and the way the room was unhealthy.

This La Quinta is the worst one we have ever stayed out. The building needs repair, furniture stained and soiled, lobby flooring lifting up, etc, etc. our room was dirty, the shower didn't operate cause the divertor valve is broken, big red and black stains on the carpet,no internet on the 4th floor and broken closet door mirror. On top, there was a big dead cockroach. Will be seeking a refund.

DO NOT STAY IN Room 204. I’d like to give this property the benefit of the doubt. However, problems amount. The room is at best ok. Clean linens and clean floors. However, the bathroom is completely taken by mold and the walls and ceiling is peeling off. There was no soap in the room (I brought my own). The air conditioner machine is so close to one of the beds that it becomes almost impossible to sleep. Breakfast is só limited that it reminded me of Motel 6. Well, I did pay the Motel 6 price, so I think it as fair. Next time I’ll look for something a little better. This hotel should be a 5.0 at best.

John is a God send at the front desk! So kind, professional, and polite! The rooms are very clean and neat! The property is furr baby friendly! The breakfast is top notch! It feels like you are renting an apartment instead of a hotel room! Last but not least the price can't be matched or beat for the cleanliness, comfort and hospitality here! ☆10/10☆! Staff booked us for a room, after a long day of traveling with my daughter we tried to enter the room they gave us. There was literally someone in the room sleeping and it was pitch dark and I just hear a man’s deep voice as I try entering my completely dark already occupied room, we go down stairs where we speak to the night auditor John who was so more concerned with who was in the room that was given to us than try to put us in a room and when I asked him to get us a room so we did t have to keep waiting passed midnight he got loud and yelled at me and pointed his finger in my face!!! The area is trashy and unsafe there was no parking and the staff was SO RUDE!!! Spoke to a manger a few days later that apologized for her staff’s behavior and gave me a refund

La Quinta did not honor our Expedia reservation. They gave away our suite room earlier in the day. We did a pre check in online and our room was gone when our flight arrived and we arrived at hotel. Very unprofessional staff. Long line when we arrived. The staff did not seem to understand they have to honor their reservations. I called expedia. Expedia said hotel is now red flagged? Why does expedia do business with such a poorly run hotel? Now I no longer trust expedia…

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. I purchased the hotel through Expedia for my sister and me. She arrived to the hotel before me and the staff had her waiting FOR SEVERAL HOURS to provide her a ROOM (my flight had been delayed), blaming it on Expedia. When we got to our room, things seemed to be a little jankier than in the photos, but we figured we'd stick it our since we were there for two nights only. But it only got worse from there. The second night we came back to our room, we arrived to find A MAN SLEEPING IN OUR BED. When we looked further in the room we realized that ALL OF OUR THINGS WERE MISSING. After a frantic search, we learned that while we were away, the staff there had GONE THROUGH OUR belongings, packed up all of our things, and RESOLD the room that we paid for!!! They then proceeded to give us a smoky room that I couldn't even enter because it was so smoky. We then asked for another room where we were only able to get 3 hours of sleep. My sister cried because they had gone through all of our belongings and she did not feel safe in the hotel. In the morning, the hotel front desk person was rude to us and did not apologize for the mistake, choosing to lie to us instead of taking accountability. I am still traumatized from this situation. I have made a formal complaint to corporate at Wyndham and am awaiting a resolution to this horrible experience.

The staff are rude and they do not have a shuttle to take you from the airport to the hotel or from the hotel to the airport. Staff do not knock on the door. They just open your door and come in and when you try to ask them questions they ignored you I would never book a room with them again

I liked how close it was to the airport however, inconvenient to everything else. The property could've been a bit cleaner for me. My room felt a little worn out, especially the bathroom. The free breakfast was not good. Eggs were either burned or old and spoiled The King Bed was comfortable.

Property a little worn like most mid to low cost airport hotels, but very clean. Large comfortable room, friendly staff, good breakfast and good airport shuttle service. Everything you need if you're travelling on a budget.

There were 3-4 cars with broken windows in the parking lot. The furniture and linen had stains on it. The bathroom had ants and no towels were provided. The wifi wasn’t working. The breakfast options were scrambled eggs, pork sausage and waffles, not very many options. The staff however was friendly and efficient.

Breakfast is from 6:30am-9:30am. Went down to feed my granddaughter. There was some corn flakes, 3 yogurt one was crushed. A few pieces of bread and and 2 apple juices some eggs and sausage and some waffle stuff. Asked staff if there was a different flavor yogurt and the lady went and asked a man in the back. When I asked if there was any other flavor yogurt or anything else that my granddaughter would eat he was irritated and said all they had is what was there. So I went to the desk to ask what was wrong the girl never got out of her chair and said the the truck did not come. Then the guy came from the kitchen behind me and did the crazy sign my granddaughter told me. The desk clerk told me breakfast was over at 9:30. It was 8:50. She said a lot of people ate. There was no information about eating at 6:30 if you want to have a choice of what you eat. She did not eat. If you advertise breakfast maybe you should at least have something for children to eat. I have never stayed anywhere like this.As far as check in was great staff was friendly at 1 am. The property is really nice and clean. Room was great. Day staff was rude because I asked if they had more yogurt and cereal. Nice place to stay if you do not want to feed the kids and you don’t ask day staff anything.

Had a 3 night stay, lobby and room was clean. Front desk attendant was very helpful and nice. I would defly recommend staying here. Also breakfast was good!
