Service and front desk attendant are really friendly and accommodating. Location is close to the Fort Polk base 15 minutes drive. Breakfast was plenty but same every day. Place is really nice, pool, patio. The only complaint is that we booked 4 rooms and my brother’s bed sheets had blood (dry) spots on it. Went to front desk and he was given everything to change it himself :-( , on my room 2 queen beds my son’s bed the sheets has spots as well and one towel had a big spot on it. My sister’s room curtains were scratched. I believe they need to pay more attention to details like those. That can make a great place to stay a no no. Please change your sheets, blankets and curtains. Other than that everything was ok.

Would have given 5 stars on facilities, but gave 4 only due to two small issues. One, the treadmill in fitness center was broken and two, no way to turn on pool light (if there is one) for grandkids. With it getting dark earlier, pool lights would be helpful. Otherwise we always stay here when in town and service is always great with clean rooms.

This hotel is obviously an updated older property. But it is excellent. The rooms are clean and up to date, the pool is well maintained and the staff is superb. On top of that it shares a parking lot with an excellent restaurant.

I do not like to complain ...room 105 ...bathroom floor was horrible around edges of wall baseboards with what looked to be caked on scum. Main walkways were vacuumed but edges weren't. The toilet ran all night and had a caulk around it that was disgusting and scary looking. Mold and mildew in shower...so we didnt bathe. You could see daylight through our door and door hinge which was scary with 2 women traveling. I will say that the sheets and towels were clean. Bed was comfortable. We booked a 2 night stay but left after first night due to the condition of hotel. Was an inconvenience since we were visiting out of state family and had driven 8 hours that day. Property was well maintained from outside and looked like a safe area. Just needs to be deep cleaned.

I've stayed here numerous times and have always been completely satisfied with my stay. The employees are courteous and helpful, the rooms are clean, and they have the best breakfast set up. I highly recommend this motel.

Awful! We were supposed to be in a non smoking room. It was labeled on the door as well, but had clearly been smoked in. Floors were damp and nasty. Bathroom was small and cramped and breakfast was lousy!

There was constant commotion outside our room most of our stay. There was a muggy mildew smell in the room. Likely the carpet. The chairs had a weird odor to them. The concierge that checked us in on 22SEP23 was not welcoming. I did not get her name. On another note, the concierge that checked us out on 23SEP23 was lively and welcoming. Greated us with a smile.

I stayed at this convenient hotel when I was in town for a funeral. The only objection was the carpet needed a better cleaning. Bedding was clean and comfortable. A nice selection of breakfast food. I also liked parking my car right outside the door to my room. I would stay here again.

Nice,clean no frills place to stay. No problems,staff was nice and helpful,property and rooms were clean. It's literally just feet from a very busy road that somehow attracts every car with no muffler,so I was awakened from my slumber a few times by Bubbas 350 Chevy and the occasional iron horse.Stayed in the front so if you get a room in the back it's probably not a problem. There was some rift raft hanging around in the parking lot around midnight and even a quite skinny gentleman who was dancing just outside his door which was entertaining and worrisome at the same time. It's not The Ritz,and it ain't in Beverly Hills but it's just fine for some rest and shower.

Everything was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. The night desk person handled a parking situation for us. Our daughter is in a wheelchair so we made sure to get an accessible room. Someone was parked in our spot when we arrived. The gentleman at the front desk handled the situation.

It took over 20 minutes to check us in, and the desk clerk double-charged my bank account when we arrived. The room was clean, but no hot water (never resolved - my wife is disabled and needed a hot bath) and no bed covers (resolved), Had to hunt for staff twice - once when checking in and when we needed covers for our bed. The grounds were clean but the area outside of the groundswas not. Nice staff, but we will not return.

My brother is in the local nursing home, I traveled from NC to spend some time with him. Sure Stay was perfect. Had it not snowed the nursing home would have been in walking distance, convenience store near by, and my time spent in the motel was restful. This has been my second stay each time has been longer and each time I know to come back to Sure Stay next time.

CAFE ATTENDENT REALLY CARES ABOUT YHE QUALITY OF THE BREKFAST. SHE HAND MAKES EVERYTHING AND HAS THE BEST BISQUIT GRAVY IVE EVER HAD. ACTUALLY PUTS MEAT IN HER GRAVY. AND COFFEE IS LEFT AVAILABLE ALL DAY, THEY WILL EVEN MAKE YOU A FRESH POT IF YOU WANT COFFEE AND THE CONTAINERS ARE EMPTY.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. My husband retired from the Army recently. We needed a room off and on for several weeks. Not only for us but for out of town guests. SureStay was amazing. We stayed in 3 different rooms. All were comfortable and very clean. The property is clean and quiet. Right next door is an amazing restaurant. It is one of the best stays we have ever had. The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is their breakfast offerings. It is basic and good, but a few more choices would be nice. But that is small in comparison to everything else that is amazing about this property.
