Open smelling Trash can in the Hotel Entrance. Pool wasn’t working , but use it to advertise online, try Gym Machines not working . This is disappointing. Will never sleep here again

The ONLY reason i booked this hotel was for the indoor pool. We arrived at the property and as we were walking toward the elevator to go to our room, we saw the pool... empty. A sign on the door to the pool area said no permit, pool closed. I spoke to the assistant manager, who told me I could not be refunded so we could stay somewhere else and told me that I could not even receive a discount on our stay. He stated the website says that the pool is closed, and I showed him the website where it says there is a pool. We stayed here for my son's 11th birthday present because he loves swimming and loves hotel pools. Needless to say, he was very disappointed. On top of all that, we asked for an extra blanket our first night so our son could sleep. The room we bokked had a king bed and pull-out sofa. The sofa had a fitted sheet but no extra blanket to sleep. The gentleman at the front desk said they're were no extra blankets. Odd that a hotel does not have extra linens for the guests, especially in rooms where linens aren't already provided like in rooms with double beds.

The pool was closed because the ownership didn’t renew their permit for 2025. There was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The electric in the bathroom was faulty as the lights were all dim due to brownout, the bathroom electric outlets were only able to power a night light, and if a heir dryer was plugged in nothing happened but dimming the night light. The doorknob stop was pushed into the wall. The interior automatic sliding doors weren’t working and had to be opened by hand. The parking lot had an empty wine bottle next to the fire hydrant. There was a huge cricket on the wall. The breakfast had only waffles, cereal and a few pieces of bread available. No orange juice as the machine was broken. Reccomend you stay anywhere else than this property.

The gym was cool. The pool hasn’t been operational for months/years. And the breakfast could use improvement. Some sort of meat would be great!

Pool was closed; never said online about it being closed, we went breakfast at 8 and there was barely anything there;no yogurt or milk. Vending on my floor was out of service and had to go to main floor, broken bathroom shower door.

The pool and gym were close.

Pool - Closed. Gym - Closed. Ice Machines - all broken except on the first floor. Breakfast - basically cereal. Toilet paper on the holder - nah, just put it on the counter. Locks working properly - nah, its 'better' if nothing locks. Garbage of an establishment, Would never have stayed had we'd known all the amenities were closed or broken.

Very noisy, odor from the pool, exercise equipment don't work.

The entire place was dirty. Would not sit on couch in room due to stains, hair in bathtub and on bathroom floor, carpet and baseboards in halls were dirty. The clerk acted like he couldn't understand english when we complained. Expedia tried to reach hotel to refund money so we could change hotels but hotel would not answer their call. The bed was clean. Older hotels that need renovations do not bother me but when the hotel is dirty, that is another matter.

This property is not clean. There are roaches. It’s dirty and smell like cigarettes all through the building. When I made a complaint about the roach. The front desk representative explained that there are people who actually live here and admitted to roach infestation.

My first room had bed bugs, switched rooms and all was good, aside from the run down and unkept condition of both rooms I stayed in. Both suites, I may add. After four days in the second room and washing/sanitizing all personal belongings, the bedding was changed and I got bed bugs again. This place is a disgrace of an establishment.

The area the hotel was located in was nice but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say about my experience. This hotel was terrible, very unsanitary. The room was old fashion and smelled like mildew. And had stains on the sofa & carpets, the sheets on the bed were dingy. The bathroom also was old fashion, the tub had rust around it, the towels & wash clothes also were dingy. The Tv didn’t work it didn’t have any service it read poor connection. The pool was out of service, yet on the website it’s portrayed to be operable. The worse thing about my experience is I asked for a full refund for my two day reservation due to the unsanitary conditions the manager went back & forth with me because she wanted to offer me 1 day back even though I was only in the hotel for 30 mins. After going back and forth for about 10 mins she finally said ok I’ll give you a full refund but I believe she only did that because there was other customers in the lobby and she didn’t want them to hear my complaints. I checked my account around a hour later it showed two transactions 1 for a full refund & one for a charge for 1 night that she made after I left the premises. So not only do they have a unsanitary establishment but they also have bad business ethics. I don’t even understand how this place is still able to operate and I will be disputing the charge for the one night with my bank. This whole experience was unacceptable very unsatisfied.

The bathtub wasn’t properly cleaned, there was hair in it. Also, the cable wire on the tv was loose, and the tv didn’t work. The person at the front desk moved us to a different room which was bigger than our first room however, the tub had rust in it.

Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was decent for the area. The only downside was the breakfast was horrible. The coffee tasted like mold. It actually made me sick.

Nice place to sleep, but nothing else. TV lost signal and the night desk assistant did not seem to care. I know there is nothing they can do but I feel like I should have been compensated in some way. That is part of the amenities.

Check-in was very smooth and stress-free. The room and hotel in general have some general wear and tear visible but nothing alarming. Haven't slept yet, but so far, so good. The only issue I have had so far was trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot at night--but it's certainly not the facility's fault all the roads are one-way going the wrong direction!

Newly renovated room with upgraded tv. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets have a high thread count. The down pillows I just sink into. It’s quiet and I enjoy luxurious hot shower and sleep like a baby!! I hope they continue with the upgrades in the hallways.

Hotel is nice but definitely some wear & tear on the furniture. Dresser drawers were fragile. Some channels on the TV were fuzzy (static).

The check in process was smooth and easy, the room was clean. However, Room 418 air conditioning was so loud, I had to turn it off. The toilet was also not steady. It moved when you sat on it. Unfortunately for me I vould not sleep well because the people in the room next door were so loud, I could hear every conversation, moan and squeal! I was going to d rive a rental truck ftom MD to Jupiter Florida, but could not sleep!

Rooms were clean the quietest hotel I’ve ever slept in

I travelled far to check in and arrived and was told the system was down and they could not process my payment so they sent me away. I was beyond upset and too exhausted to do anything about it.

Customer service is horrible.

I drove 4 hours to check in. Just for them to tell me that there system was down and that they weren’t checking people in. So I asked the ladies at the desk what should I do because I made my reservation months in advance and have no where to stay. The lady at the front desk pretty much told me “find another hotel.” She offered no solution which left me stranded in a place where I was only visiting for Beyoncé's concert. I asked for the manager and she acted as if she went to the back to get him then came back out and said “you can find another hotel since our system is down.” Both women at the front desk were unprofessional and rude. So I just found another hotel after a few hotels told me that they were booked. Then I get a notification on my card that they were trying to charge my card (which declined because my card is locked). I contacted Expedia about this and no help was offered on either end which left me pretty to fend for myself. I will NEVER book with this property again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I left my Brown Suit Tie and shirt in the closet, and was contacted, staff called me and arranged mailing my suit to Brooklyn NY from Sleep Hotel in Maryland, that so great and appreciate his concern. Thank you for being a Kind individual. REL

Where do I start? The front desk Indian man was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. No eye contact, treated us as if paying customers were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, there was confusion about the duration of my stay, and instead of contacting me, we arrived to find ourselves locked out of the room and threatened to have law enforcement called to remove us from the premises like common criminals. I am a GOLD star traveler and have NEVER been mistreated in such a way at any hotel or MOTEL, for that matter, in my entire life. We checked out immediately and completed our stay at another nearby hotel. Please think carefully before booking this hotel if you are a person of color, you will not be treated with any kind of respect!

This hotel is half way updated and all the advertisement photos show the updated areas. The pool is not open, it is still being renovated. This is the main reason I chose this hotel. This hotel is in the hood, so be sure to lock your car. However, there are several excellent restaurants in the area that are exotic and cheap. The room smelled bad and the hallways smelled terrible. The windows in the room and the hallway can be opened, so the fresh air significantly improved the smell. The smell is primarily from people smoking in stairwells.

Clean but a bit difficult to navigate the entrance while driving.

Hotel was very clean, just outdated. They could use more lighting in the parking lot for safety since the area is kind of shady. I didn't have any major issues during my stay but it was not very impressive either considering the price. It's not much better than the cheap motel located next to it.

I mean craziest experience of my life. This cost the same as any other name brand in the local area but man did it have sleezy motel vibes. The room was decently clean, but the poop stained carpets are disgusting. If you're wondering what the oder in the stairwell is...it's crack and cigarettes...I know because I found the crackheads hiding on the second floor landing. The sounds of moaning from the other rooms is something that might happen in other hotels too. Being offered some fun for a fee in the parking lot was definitely on another level. Still I'd take the moaning over the screaming baby in the room next door all night. Couldn't find the desk attendant to even attempt to change rooms. The only reason I even stayed here vs any other place in the $75 a night range of which there a many, was the pool which was closed anyways. Not that I'd recommend using it given the disgusting state of the place. Look I've stayed in some horrible places. Honestly when I'm on my own I'd stay in a place like this with little issue if the price reflected it. But honestly this was a mind blowing experience for a well known chain hotel

I liked that it was clean in our room. I had asked for a quiet room away from vending, elevators, ice machines, etc. and that’s what they gave me! The receptionist was kind. Breakfast was okay. I had to call for directions and he told me how to get there. I could see the hotel but couldn’t figure out how to get to it! Very confusing.

Reasonable stay for the cost. Surrounding area leaves something to be desired though!

Pleasant and relaxing. Breakfast was o.k., waffles, yogurt, and cold cereal. Also coffee and juices. I would stay again if coming this way.

Was disappointed that the pool wasn't open. We had my niece with us & that was an amenity we wanted for her & we werent told it was closed. Breakfast was a bit of a let down as well not many choices. The over all stay was good though. Staff was friendly & the rooms were clean

Hot breakfast consisted of only a waffle maker, not even a toaster for toast, no bagels, no selection of fruits (only not so fresh apples). "Heated" pool was not heated, per mgmt heater was broke. Bathroom walls FILTHY - i cleaned spots and took photos to send to corporate. Vinyl bed skirting and wall between beds had white drip stains on them that i simply wiped off with a wet rag. electrical outlets very loose, arcing, not safe and carpets grimy, not sure when last time cleaned (shampood).
