Days Inn by Wyndham Burlington East

We were just passing through and it was a relatively inexpensive room for what we needed but the pool closed at 8:00. The hallways were a bit dated but the room itself was pretty clean and the refrigerator even had a freezer. The TV worked and no bugs and it worked for what we needed but the next morning there is no ice machine on the second floor and the one on the first floor didn't even have enough ice in it to fill up a baggie and the power had blown in the breakfast room and the lady seemed a bit clueless although she was very nice about it. So the microwave didn't work and there was no coffee.

We made this reservation because they advertised a pool and the desk clerk said it had been closed for 3 weeks for repairs. We were out in 95 degree heat all day and wanted to relax in a pool. We left and went to Best Western. The clerk said they would refund our money but as of 2 days later they haven't yet. They have false advertising of their property photos on Orbitz. We WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE. YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Vending machines were not centrally located and the drink vending machine was out of order. This was discovered after i went to the front desk to ask for the location and then walked a long distance yo get to the machine. I had just gotten off the road and was very tired. Had to get back in my car to go purchase soda.

I wasn't really a big fan of the complimentary breakfast. It wasn't a lot to choose from and there was a hair in my milk. I was disappointed that the pool was closed

A pretty decent place for this price range. Know before you go - it's a two-story building and there are no elevators, only stairs.

The staff at checkin were great. We were very disappointed in the breakfast or lack there of. Really nothing but bagels and cereal. The pool was not very clean as well.

Clean and safe. Near 2 truck stops, but not as loud as you would think. Pool was closed during my trip.

Staff was great, bed was nice, but the building was in disrepair, lots of stains on the floor, gouges in the walls, there was a piece of metal sticking out of an outlet, hair and other unknown debris on the bathroom walls, not very clean, you can tell the housekeepers were rushed. Tape over a hole in a $2 phone outlet cover, dirty ice bucket, noisy due to all the semis in the gas station next door, but the staff made it better I guess, property manager or someone in charge needs to step up and invest in the building inside and out

The bathroom was very outdated mold type around the flooring . Faucet on bathtub had “Off” written in black marker. Lots of rust. Musty type smell in the room had to air freshen and disinfect . Bench in room was broken and stains on popcorn ceiling . The bed was clean and comfortable.

Although the rooms are desperately needing updated…. They are VERY clean and the lady that checked us in was extremely friendly. Kudos to the cleaning staff and front desk assistant! Thank you!

The property needs renovations. The room was stuffy, smelled old, the bathroom wasn’t thoroughly cleaned and we killed a roach on the last day of our stay. Super disappointed!

This property is a little outdated, staff was friendly, but you could hear what was going on in the rooms next to you.

Can’t beat the price. It’s dated, small tv with limited channels, nice fridge in room, microwave. AC worked well, beds were comfortable so it met our needs just fine.

This was an older hotel. Not in too bad of shape for the age. No elevator or automatic entry door. Room was clean and loved the water pressure from the shower.

Room smelled as if it had previously been smoked in. A/C unit was so loud every time it started up that sleep was impossible throughout the night.

The property is old and appears dirty. the walls, baseboard, windows, just seem old and need of care. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very limited. two cereals, fruit loops, cheerios, waffle maker with really, really, really slow pancake mix dispenser. two kinds of bagels but only strawberry cream cheese. (not my favorite) no toast, orange juice and appears to be fruit punch. coffee and one kind of tea.

Nice place for the price. Walls are a bit thin but no big deal. A new carpet would make this place really good. Check on receptionist was delightful!

Didn’t like the sink was not in the same room as the shower and toilet and the AC should of been more colder

The room has seen better days. Had a musty odor. Carpet was worn near room entrance. The inside of the bathroom door was dirty. Front desk staff person was courteous when we arrived but after check-in, the desk was vacant every time I walked by. I had a question about my bill when checking out but there was no one at the desk.

The police came and told me to leave and I did. I asked for a receipt, and your manager refused to give me one. You tried talking to me on the phone and was nothing but rude. Called me names, I believe it was "lowlife individual" at that point, I refused to talk to you anymore. After I left the hotel, you continued sending harassing texts to me and continued to call me names. So I ask you who the bully is here? I admit I could have handled the situation better. But you also have to admit that some members of your staff made poor decisions. You have my credit card. The correct thing to do would have been to add a charge to my card and let me sort it out when I wake up. But your manager got her feelings hurt and had to prove how bad she was. You also have to admit your staff is poorly trained. That is not their fault. They tried to do what they were trained to do, and I'll say they did it to the best of their training. You and your manager must take the blame for this. You need to train them to be able to look up information and simply add a second night that was booked. You and your manager are completely unprofessional, and Days Inn should step in and retrain the both of you too. You have cameras all over your hotel. I'm sure this entire event was documented on your cameras. You are free to confirm what I've said with the video. I hope you have a good rest of your day, and you will be hearing from me in the future regarding this issue.

It was a great stay over Christmas. It was quiet and clean and reasonably priced. Destiny was very helpful at the front desk. Will definitely stay there again.

Front desk staff was great with the influx of people at one time. She also had to check people out and get breakfast ready by herself

Staff was friendly and helpful. The property seemed well used and ready for updating, but our room was clean, comfortable and quiet and exactly what we needed. We had driven too far that day and needed a good rest and that's exactly what we got.

When checking in, I approached the desk but the clerk did not acknowledge me for at least 3 minutes while she worked on the computer. I would have expected at least a quick 'hello, let me finish this', then the delay in getting checked-in would have been no problem.

My tv didnt work but i was told thst there was nothing that could be done. I also went personally to the front desk and asked for a wake up call. I saw the guy write it down but i never received it and almost missed my flight. Need to definitely work on customer care and communication skill for sure.

The manger was excellent she stay over just to solve my issue thank you so much I stayed on the 9 th but had booked the wrong day and she helped me clear it up I really appreciate that and everyone was. So pleasant to talk to.

I called front desk, prior to making my reservation and paying my three night stay in full, to ask if there were any other fees. The lady at the desk replied no, however, when I arrived I was told there was a $ 50.00 room deposit. I explained that I didn't want to pay it. The lady refused to let me check in, and the manager called me to tell me to leave the property! I did end up staying one night, then got a refund for the other two nights. I found out later that I could have paid the fifty dollars in cash, however, I was not given that option upon check in. The lady at the front desk told me that a woman of my age age and stature should not be making a big deal about $ 50.00. Then she started singing Bible hymns.

I needed a place to stay that was close to the truck stop where the load I was escorting was parked and this place was next door. I used one of those discount sites and the cost was under a hundred bucks. Check-in was easy as I had done it earlier over my phone. The room was nice and on the first floor. There was all the amenities and coffee in the room along with four pillows that had different hardness. They also had a continental breakfast with waffles available and coffee available 24/7 in the breakfast nook. All-in-all a good stay for the bux.

The hotel was around the truck stops and wasn’t feeling safe , but nothing happened.

The front desk people were super nice! The area was easy to get in and out of. Location was in a central location where i needed to be.

Reasonable price. Great location. Clean.

Overall a great stay, right on the highway so easy to get places quickly. Two truck stops right by it for gas was convenient. Building & room was okay, typical wear and tear for over the years but it was clean and the staff was very nice.

The room was pleasant and quiet even though the property was beside a Truckers stop. Trucks did not disturb rest. hotel was pretty quiet for the majority of time we stayed in the evenings. No loud parties. There was confusion about pets on premises. Website said "yes to pets" but hotel sign on door said "no pets" and so did staff. This needs to checked into.

It was great for my traveling to mountains

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast. Not much to choose from especially to drink if you are not a coffee drinker. No juice, no water.

The online pictures are NOT what this property looks like. Old, dated, dirty walls and door frames, toilet loose, “breakfast” stale cereal, expired cream, bagels may have been good but toaster did not work. No fresh fruit. There was yogurt. Only amenities two vending machines. No gym like pictures depict. Staff nice but person at front desk Saturday am had on a animal hooded towel/blanket. And price high because parents weekend.

Checking in (had to ring a bell to get someone to the front desk) I was not provided any hotel information such as how to access Wi-Fi or breakfast hours - although the next morning I realized why! Handed my key and told the stairs were past the exit sign. The bed was comfortable and although you could hear people in the hall you couldn't hear them through the walls. That's about the only positive thing I can say. The air was on max cool and it was still too warm. Water stains on the ceiling. The door to the room looked like it had been forced open in the past with a crowbar, gouges in the wall and on the edge of the door. Breakfast was a joke. A breaker had been tripped- the toaster, waffle maker and coffee machine were all off. You were left with yogurt, cold bagels and cereal- which had to be eaten with a fork because there were no spoons. Would definitely not stay here again!!

It was like stepping through a time warp, all manual doors, no elevators, unpainted patchwork walls, inexplicable stains on walls, that I'm telling myself were not the remenants of blood. Staff was really nice and sweet and kind. Breakfast was dry cereal or waffle. No eggs, no yogurt no fruit no bacon or sausage. Its been over 20 years since i last had cereal for breakfast, i ended up buying breakfast each morning as it was completely unsatisfyin

Food selection was timited to cold cereal, bagels and Waffles. Others I have been to had stuff like scrambled eggs and sausage. Beverages were limited to coffee and water
