The lady who checked me in showed great customer courtesy skills. I will definitely check in again

The room was very clean. TV was old and not functioning well. The pool was not well maintained. The lady at the front desk I had the pleasure of dealing with was wonderful. Helpful, cheerful, friendly and just over all made the experience so pleasant.

Rooms were clean, property was well managed, breakfast was adequate. For its price point we were more than pleased with the room.

OMG! We picked the busiest day of the year to travel thru Charleston. Almost every hotel was sold out. When we arrived at the hotel- we knew it was going to be ' interesting". I asked the front desk ( a very nice gentleman) if we could be on the back side of the hotel, away from the interstate. He said that all of those rooms were smoking rooms! Then he looked at the reservation and he said - that is what you booked! NEVER did I see those words! He showed us the 2 rooms - they smelled awful - bad and worse. Located rt on the interstate. If you left the hotel to go eat - it was impossible to get back into the hotel because you have to make a U turn across taffic exiting the interstate! There was hot water and a decent bed. Mini muffins, apples. green tea or coffee for breakfast. NONE of the photos look like the place.
