Good location . My room light bulb was out and dining table was broken ,toilet was leaking,dresser was broken,toilets cabinets door was broken. I was business trip and no time to deal with all these stuff and last minute they called to me elevator was out of service. We got second floor so need to use stair. Staff are nice but not helpful to fix or change room. I won’t go back there .

Overall very poor maintenance. I was there 6 nights. The advertized gym was closed out of service every single day. The breakfast was only coffee and small muffins, from 0600 to 0900, you could not get a cup of coffee out of these hours. And the last day? Nothing. “We did not get supplies”. A gentleman at the reception desk explained the situation by “I’m not responsible for the supplies”…and suggested “why don’t you go and have a free breakfast at the holiday inn across the street”..”they all do it”. Pitiful management. Obviously , did not offer any kind of compensation. Won’t be back.

The room was fine for me, it was cheap and right next to the NRG. It looked like a lot of homeless people hang out in the parking lot. Even the hotel across the street had a gated parking lot. The room thermostat was a fake thermostat and the buttons didn't do anything. I guess the temperature was controlled somewhere else? Not sure. The bathtub faucet was leaking and had to listen to that all night. The elevator was broken and even with my bad back and torn ACL, I had to climb a flight of stairs because they couldn't pute.on.thw ground floor. Would I stay here again? Maybe by myself but definitely not if my wife is coming with me.

Was told when we got there elevator was broken. Room was a little stuffy. Moved sofa to see tv better and it was very dirty underneath. Shower didn't throw out enough water and rub made a creaking sounds every time you moved.

This property was under renovation, which was not in the listing, and unfortunately I paid for my room before i saw it. I arrived late and they did not have another room to offer me for my 5 night stay so I asked to have it cleaned the next day. When I returned in the evening it had not been done so I borrowed supplies and the vaccuum and did it myself. The advertised pool was also not available which was disappointing. It was very close to where I had to be each day and front desk person Kahlil was extremely hospitable.

We checked in and got settled in. We discovered there baby roaches climbing on the walls and cabinets. There was dead and alive roaches in the bathroom. We woke up to find 2 roaches alive on the end of our bed. There was 3 in our bags and 1 in the nightstand. The got warm and ac finally came in a We were leaving. Im a cancer patient and stayed for my hospital appointments. I deserve a full or partial refund. This is unhealthy and disgusting and extremely bad for anyone. We would if asked for refund but i wasn't feeling well after the long drive and it was late. I've stayed here before and it was ok but i wouldn't recommend it unless you check your room and bed before you go to bed.

Dirty, disgusting and ghetto. Rude, loud and obnoxious people who like to harass you stay around here. They were out of coffee and breakfast. When asked the front desk about it, they tried to blame it on the flooding. They were out before the flooding hit. Asked for coffee maker but was told they dont provide the filters for the coffee maker. Lights did not work properly in the room, found roaches in the bathroom and the pool was not properly cleaned. I would not recommend this location. Stay someplace else.

Ya'lll...this hotel is gross. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. I don't have high standards, I just want something that's clean, safe and under $100 a night, but this place looks like nothing has been fully cleaned or renovated since the 70s. The carpet was torn, stained and burned, the walls are scuffed and banged up, everything had kind of a grimy outdated feel. I was scared to touch anything, and literally kept my bag in the fridge as that was the only clean place I could trust. There was this weird pervasive musty smell, and was surprised to see there were no screens or gates on the large sliding 3rd floor windows, as staying in that room for more than a few hours starts to make the idea of throwing yourself out a window seem really appealing.

Save your money, don’t stay here. The website states it serves breakfast but it does not. The hotel is old and not updated and smelled like marijuana. The worse part is I woke up with several bites on my legs, that really resembled bed bug bites.

Second Floor had some type of odor emitting in the hall ways. Carpet is old. Carpet in the room was dirty and had stains on it red stains. Not sure if it was dried blood. The faucet knobs moved everywhere like they were going to come off in the restroom. You could hear conversations from other rooms, hallway and outside noises.

My friends and I flew in for a concert stay. We were able to get an early check-in by 1pm which was appreciated. However, that night is when the issues began. We left for dinner that evening and while we were gone the hotel property staff was selling parking spots in the hotel for $20 to random people looking for parking for the event. When we returned there was no parking spots because all spaces were sold to NON-HOTEL GUESTS!!!! Guests of the hotel had absolutely no where to park. Also during the stay we noticed the cleanliness of the room was not up to par due to pills and bags found under the bed. I will say the hotel itself was in a convenient area and the deluxe room we stayed in was accommodating for our party of 3, especially for the price.

Not a safe spot for women on their own. Visited the Texas Medical Center for a week while nephew was fighting for his life in the ICU at Memorial Herman. I called beforehand to check the rate for my dogs and was told $29 for 6 days but additional $50 for over 7 days. Room smelled bad. Hallway smelled bad. No hair conditioner or pots and pans. One entry and exit for the hotel was blocked by construction and jackhammering at 6:30am. Breakfast consists of oatmeal, protein bars, and muffins. The cherry on top was Khalil accusing me of not paying the pet deposit after seeing me with my pups going into my room on the last night. I walked up to the front desk and asked for a fork. Khalil said, "do you have something you want to tell me." I replied, "Jesus Loves You." Khalil replied, "I'm going to ask you again, do you have something you want to tell me." This happened 3 times. He then looks up my room number and confirmed that I paid the deposit, and proceeds to get the forks. I asked for an apology for accusing me of lying and he said, "I'm not apologizing." I was shocked. Do better Khalil, be more polite to guest overpaying at your hotel. After checking out, I was charged another pet fee after they got it wrong the first time.

One entry and exit for the hotel was blocked by construction and jackhammering at 6:30am. Breakfast consists of oatmeal, protein bars, and muffins. The cherry on top was Khalil accusing me of not paying the pet deposit after seeing me with my pups going into my room on the last night. I walked up to the front desk and asked for a fork. Khalil said, "do you have something you want to tell me." I replied, "Jesus Loves You." Khalil replied, "I'm going to ask you again, do you have something you want to tell me." This happened 3 times. He then looks up my room number and confirmed that I paid the deposit, and proceeds to get the forks. I asked for an apology for accusing me of lying and he said, "I'm not apologizing." I was shocked. Do better Khalil, be more polite to guest overpaying at your hotel. After checking out, I was charged another pet fee after they got it wrong the first time.

I did not stay but I am sure you all will still charge me for it. At check in I was told I couldn't pay for my room with cash. No where during my reservation did they mention this and during other stays at other places I paid cash. Because of this, I was with my grandkids and no room after traveling 6+ hours. Man in front was not friendly at all. Very upset and they should have mentioned this.

It was just ok. Very pet friendly and by the standards of Extended Stay America, these were just BARELY there. One thing I did take a bit of an issue with were that there were some street people hanging around asking for cigerettes and one even asked if we could get him a room. It seemed like the hotel staff just allowed them to loiter around the lobby and the property in the evening and that was a bit sketchy. The breakfast is instant coffee and muffins. It is passable. The room was fine but a little improvement and slight investment could go a very long way. Again, not bad but there are a few little things like the no loitering in the lobby that could make this place a little bit more appealing.

My friends and I traveled to Houston for a football game and picked this hotel because its within a 5 minute walk to the stadium. That's the only good part of the hotel. The room was somewhat clean however, the there was only a few squares of toilet paper left on the roll. The toilet paper holder was close to falling off the side of the vanity. My son and his friend wanted to go to the pool since it was locked with chain and padlocked. It also clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. They offer breakfast but it's only small packaged muffins and granola bars. Also, other than the stadium, there's nothing around the hotel worth doing. No bar-b-q places, no breweries or bars.

Just an overnight stay for me so very sufficient for that purpose. If you’re attending anything at the NRG stadium this is a perfect property. Completely walkable. Walk thru the Holiday Inn lobby across the st and it’s a straight shot to the stadium. Stayed here to see Beyoncé. The water pressure and hot water is perfection at this location. There is a vending machine with drinks and snacks available on the lobby floor. I saw a baby roach in my bathroom but I don’t necessarily blame the property as it was only the one I guess. I’d stay again if attending an event at the NRG stadium in a heartbeat

The room was fine for me, it was cheap and right next to the NRG. It looked like a lot of homeless people hang out in the parking lot. Even the hotel across the street had a gated parking lot. The room thermostat was a fake thermostat and the buttons didn't do anything. I guess the temperature was controlled somewhere else? Not sure. The bathtub faucet was leaking and had to listen to that all night. The elevator was broken and even with my bad back and torn ACL, I had to climb a flight of stairs because they couldn't pute.on.thw ground floor. Would I stay here again? Maybe by myself but definitely not if my wife is coming with me.

Hands down the WORST hotel experience of my life! No breakfast provided, other than mini pre-packaged muffins and a pouch of hot chocolate, not even hot water, no coffee. If you want to exchange towels, you need to bring your dirty towels to the front desk between 7 am and 7 pm. If you need toilet paper, you need to go to the front desk to get yourself. Dirty, smelly, terrible customer service. And there seemed to be several strange people living in the hotel, and a crowd always smoking outside the front door. Overall very poor maintenance. I was there 6 nights. The advertized gym was closed out of service every single day. The breakfast was only coffee and small muffins, from 0600 to 0900, you could not get a cup of coffee out of these hours. And the last day? Nothing. “We did not get supplies”. A gentleman at the reception desk explained the situation by “I’m not responsible for the supplies”…and suggested “why don’t you go and have a free breakfast at the holiday inn across the street”..”they all do it”. Pitiful management. Obviously , did not offer any kind of compensation. Won’t be back.

We booked this hotel for two nights but left after only one because the conditions were unacceptable. The hallways had different strong, unpleasant odors throughout the property. Our first room was extremely humid and had a heavy musty smell, as though it had been closed for a long time or affected by moisture. The furniture, refrigerator, and overall condition of the room were poor, and the cleanliness was also below an acceptable standard. The odor and air quality began triggering my wife’s asthma symptoms, so we immediately requested another room. Staff showed us two or three alternatives, but they all had similar odors and maintenance issues. Because it was already around midnight and finding another hotel at that hour would have been difficult, we reluctantly chose the room with the least noticeable smell. We left very early the next morning and did not stay the second night. Before leaving, I contacted Hotels.com and requested a refund for the unused night. As of this review, the property has not responded to Hotels.com’s refund inquiries. This was not simply a matter of preference the room conditions and air quality made it unreasonable for us to complete the stay. I cannot recommend this property, especially to anyone with asthma, allergies, or sensitivity to mold or musty odors.

Room was very muggy when we entered, the A/C was very loud and didn't cool well until the sun went down. There was hair on the towels. They do not provide any paper towels or kitchen amenities unless you specifically ask, I've never had to ask before at an extended stay. Breakfast was a joke.
