The property was very run down. We paid the money with the intent of using their pool, fitness room and breakfast, of which none were available. They told us to go over to Holiday inn express to use the fitness center. Room was clean, but furniture needed replacing.

The parking lots were undergoing construction when we visited, and there was not any parking available for guests when we checked-in. The front desk staff said that parking was available exclusively on a first-come first-served basis, and that no refunds would be provided if we couldn't stay due to the lack of parking. We ultimately parked (illegally) on an adjacent property and did stay overnight, but were surprised that the owner still accepted bookings while knowing that appropriate facilities were not available to serve those guests.

Run down but clean. Ice machine, indoor pool heater and reception printer broken. Online photos look far better than reality. Booked there because of the pool, which couldn't be used. Ok beds and in room coffee was tasty.

The bathroom did not have ventilation. There weren’t any hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes. The shower water pressure was poor. There needed to be a trash barrel in the suite; a tiny one in the bathroom isn’t enough. The swimming pool was closed for repairs. Requested new towels but never got them.

We had a three day stay. Overall, it was good. Staff was Friendly and helpful. The Pool was extremely cold...but we did it. Selection of Breakfast was minimal...Great Breakfast Staff though. The Hotel needs updating badly. Very worn. Old furniture. sinks don't drain. Floors feel sticky. Bed was comfortable. Very spacious. Exercise room was out of commission. Dirt was under the Hide-away couch. A bit overpriced due to the condition of Hotel. Excellent location to area amenities!

Room was nice and big. Like the kitchenette area. Rugs in halls and elevator were in need of replacing. Dirty looking and smelly. Rest of hotel looked clean. Breakfast not included, but Dunkin at end of road. Pool looks nice but wasn’t open due to repair. Good location.

I booked a room for 3 people, specifically wrote 3 on the reservation, we had 2 towels. Yes we went and asked for more, but they knew the reservation was for 3... We assumed they would of brought fresh towels when cleaning the room. I guess daily cleaning isn't a service offered at this hotel? As we did not get a daily cleaning. Not once, but twice they texted me, asking what time I was checking out, the night before. I don't know, when we wake up. I promise we understand checkout time and won't go past it. But amazing how eager they were to clean the room then. There were two outlets. One in the one sink bathroom, and one by the two queen beds. That's it. We had one working light over the two queen beds. The bathroom light didn't really like to work. The carpets were gross. There were no hooks to hang wet towels. One of our key cards to get into the room didn't work. Be careful as you turn onto hotel grounds, there is a pothole the size of an suv waiting for you. I gave this a 2 star, simply because the beds appeared to be clean when we arrived and I genuinely hate giving anyone a 1 star. That was the only saving grace.

The first room we went to had big stains all over the floor. I’m not sure if it was blood wine poorly, cleaned up vomit it was disgusting. The receptionist was very nice and got us into another room. The other room stunk really bad had spiderwebs everywhere. The people were very nice. Just a cleanliness was not up to par.

We have stayed here in the past and it was fine, however this time we had ants in our room. The room seemed clean and didn’t have a smell but there was a bunch of little ants in the bathroom that made their ways to the bed area. Won’t be going back.

Large clean and comfortable rooms. Wish breakfast was included, although there is a 24hr coffee / hot chocolate bar. The room was in the non renovated part. I found it noisy. I could hear the people upstairs talking. Could use a good paint job-freshen up in the bathroom. Overall, good value for the price.

I stayed in a King studio this time. Really liked it as it is maybe twice as big as the standard rooms, and not much more in cost then the standards. Staff is always friendly, and rooms are clean. This type of room is roomier which is nice, even if just me and for only one night,

We did not end up staying here. Waited 2 hours to check in to our room. When our room was ready, upon entering I noticed that we were given the incorrect room and since the hotel was already fully booked they couldn’t switch us to another room. We were told to go to the other hotel across the parking lot, Holiday Inn, since they had availabilities.

I did not stay on property. I was told that my room had a leak. The staff put me in a hotel across the street. It did not have the same accommodations as the hotel I set up my stay with. There were no apologies . . .only confusion. They did not charge me for the stay but I was not informed of this until i checked out.

They overbooked and didn't have a room for us. We were transferred to Holiday Inn Express. Which was nice and staff helpful. Would not recommend White River Junction Inn and Suites. That place looked like a lower end apartment building instead of a hotel.

This hotel was just OK. Room was not ready even at 3 o’clock. Front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming, we had to suggest that they offer us a comparable room or we would’ve continue to wait to check in. We did not feel welcomed or valued at this front desk. The property is office just OK. It was clean and quiet. We would probably not stay here again.

They tried to run my credit card for a second time! #2 At 10:40pm the maintenance man was breaking into my room, front desk computer showed my room empty. He had a lady with several children and she wanted my room and for me to leave?! I told them the front desk must have double booked! Then the lady yelled at me as if I was to blame! #3 Heavy cigarette smoke in the wet carpet in the hallways, gross! Never stay at White River! Would like a full refund!

Close enough to killington, super super nice staff. Made us feel welcome and helped me extend my stay during a huge snowstorm for my Expedia rate. Right off highway and has studio style rooms with kitchen that are perfect for our ski stay!! Great place.

The check in was great - we even got in a little early. Beds were very comfortable and room was nice and large. TV had a lot of channels - more then most. We went down to breakfast around 7:00 - was okay, but most everything was cold by the time we got there. Would have liked to see a little more hot items, especially home fries or something like that. Other then that it was an enjoyable stay. Would stay there again if we have to come to White River.

Price was right, but that was about it! It appears they have people living there and the whole vibe was sketchy. Cars without plates parked/campers in the lot. I would not have stayed there if traveling by myself. Room was very musty (they were running fans in the hallways 24/7) and heavy air freshener smell. Not good for my allergies/asthma. There was dried food on the carpets in the room and what appeared to be blood stains on the comforter :( Room was pretty quiet, but I needed water due to smell drying my throat. No vending machines, front desk has a small retail space. No water! They ran out due to a busy weekend. The front desk clerk told me to go across the street to the Holiday Inn to buy a bottle of water! Breakfast buffet was out of several things including yogurt, again, due to a busy weekend as well. Would not recommend.

The lobby is nice.. Slow internet and slower yet in the lobby. The included breakfast is virtually included, as in yes online you can have it, but not in reality.. There is non. 'they should have told you at check in that there is no breakfast' might have been helpful but I paid in advance non refundable so..?

It was just okay. We were there for graduation weekend and it was less than expected for the price. No breakfast which we knew but a few mornings not even coffee or hot water for tea in the lobby, pretty disappointing. Staff was just okay too. I guess for less it might have been better.
